Have you heard of dazi? Have you ever found a dazi? These days, finding a dazi is becoming popular with Chinese young people. A dazi is a person we eat with, study with, exercise with or take a trip with, but we haven’t known him or her before.
The dazi culture is about finding the right person to do the right activity with. Xiaoya, a young woman from Shanghai, has met many dazi because of her love for basketball and biking. For example, she found a basketball dazi online, and now they play together every week. Having a dazi not only gives her company (陪伴), but also helps her enjoy sports more.
These dazi relationships are very different from close friendships. As for close friends, we need to stay in close contact. With a dazi, you don’t have to do so. Many dazi may not meet again after a trip or a game together. So, many people believe having a dazi makes their social life easier and more comfortable.
Finding a dazi shows that Chinese young people want clearer boundaries (界限) in their social relationships. Dazi will not talk or ask a lot about their personal lives. And they hope these relationships can let them share their hobbies and interests, or that they can help them to improve themselves.
Finding a dazi has many good points, but we should be careful and put our safety first. Remember to tell your parents where you are going when you meet a new dazi.

【答案】
例文
Getting along well with others is of great importance for us teenagers.
Last month, my best friend Lily and I had a fight. She forgot to return my favorite storybook on time, and I got angry, saying some harsh words. We didn’t talk for a week. Later, I realized I was too impulsive. I wrote her a note to apologize, and she said she was sorry too. We talked openly and made up soon.
This experience teaches me that communication is key to solving conflicts. When disagreements happen, we should stay calm and express our feelings politely instead of blaming others. Only by understanding each other can we keep our friendships strong.

In the Han Dynasty of China, there was a kind boy named Kong Rong. He was known for his smartness and respect for elders from a very young age. He lived in a big family with his parents and five brothers.
One day, when Kong Rong was only four years old, his father brought some pears for the children. The pears were of different sizes. The larger ones looked juicy and sweet, while the smaller ones seemed less delicious.
The older brothers quickly picked the biggest pears for themselves. Little Kong Rong did not follow them. Instead, he waited patiently and then chose the smallest pear from the plate.
His father saw this and felt surprised. He asked Kong Rong, “My son, why did you choose the smallest pear for yourself?” Kong Rong replied politely, “I am the youngest child in the family. I should leave the bigger pears for my elder brothers. It is a way to show my respect.”
His father was deeply moved by his answer. He was proud of his son’s humility and selflessness at such a young age. This story, “Kong Rong Rang Li” (Kong Rong Giving Up the Bigger Pears), has been passed down for generations (一代) in China. It teaches people the importance of humility, respect for elders, and the virtue (美德) of putting others before oneself.

C Younger children should always eat less than others.

31. How does the writer start the passage?
A. By asking questions. B. By giving examples. C. By giving numbers.
32. How might Xiaoya describe having a dazi?
A. Serious. B. Enjoyable. C. Difficult.
33. What does the underlined word “so” in Paragraph 3 refer to?
A. Staying in close contact. B. Playing games together. C. Talking about daily life.
34. Why do Chinese young people like to find a dazi?
①To improve themselves. ② To have clearer boundaries.
③ To save time and money. ④ To share their hobbies and interests.
A. ①②③ B. ①②④ C. ①③④
35. What’s the best title for the passage?
A. Dazi: find a friend for sports B. How we find a good dazi C. Dazi: a new popular culture
