Dear Editor,
I’m glad to share ideas about the saying “Studying is like rowing a boat against moving water; if you don’t move forward, you will fall behind.” It means that learning requires continuous effort. If we stop studying, we will be left behind by others.
To become a good learner, I think we should make a study plan, listen carefully in class, and review lessons on time. Asking questions when having difficulties is also helpful.
I still remember when I first learned English. It was hard for me to remember new words. But I kept practicing every day. Slowly, my English improved a lot. This experience taught me that persistence is important.
