教学目标
1. 学习理解:100%的学生能够熟练掌握farmer、doctor、nurse、singer、worker、student、policeman、taxi driver等词,达到会读、会认、会造句。
2. 应用实践:能够熟练应用 “What does he/she do? He/she is…”的句型进行提问和回答。
3. 迁移创新:尝试说出父母的职业以及自己的dream job。

教学过程
一、学习理解
Activity 1: Lead in.
T: Sing a song. Tell me what’s the song about? It’s about jobs..
【设计意图: 本部分歌曲导入,激活旧知。】
Loo利用信息技术图、文逐步呈现,帮助学生走入故事情境,帮助学生更好的学习和理解本课要学习的新知,激发学生的求知欲。】
T: Look at our friend Ken. Ken is a student. Today, Ken’s school is going to have a career day. Ken will introduce the jobs of his family members. Look at his family tree, how many people are there in his family? Yes, there are 8 people. What does he or she do?
【设计意图:本环节通过创设故事情境,让学生在情境中学习8个新单词。引导学生观察图片,思考各个职业的作用】
Activity 2: Learn to say.
T: Look at Ken’s grandfather, can you guess, what does he do? He works on a farm. He feeds the animals. He is busy. So he is a farmer. farm farmer…
【设计意图:通过描述特征、听声音等活动,让学生猜一猜职业,并让学生仔细观察图片,思考各个职业的特征。学习理解新学的职业及特征。】
Activity 3: Listen and repeat
【设计意图:回归课本,跟读单词并帮助学生纠音。】
二、应用实践
Activity 1: Look and say.
Who is he/she? What does he/she do?
T: You read it very well, this time, let’s look and say. 边飞图,边说,This is Ken’s grandfather. He is a farmer. He is busy. This is Ken’s uncle. He is a taxi driver. He is warm-hearted. This is Ken’s father. He is a policeman. He is helpful. This is Ken’s brother. He is a worker. He is hard working.
T: This is Ken’s grandmother. She is a singer. She is cool. This is Ken’s aunt. She is a nurse. She is careful. This is Ken’s mother. She is a doctor. She is kind. All of these jobs are not easy, they should be respected.
【设计意图:应用练习,在具体的情境中,让学生说一说Ken一家的职业。】
Activity 2: Match and say.

【设计意图:本环节让学生自读故事,是对上一活动的有效检测,旨在培养学生的阅读能力,同时复习关于职业的词汇,为后面的创新应用环节做准备。】
Activity 3: Pair work.
【设计意图:通过前面的学习铺垫,让学生说一说自己父母的职业。培养学生学用结合的能力。】

Activity 1: Enjoy the story: My dream job
Different people have different jobs, what’s your dream job? Let’s enjoy a video and tell me what’s the little boy’s dream job?
【设计意图:本环节利用信息技术图文并茂的呈现一个关于梦想的小视频,激发学生的学习兴趣。并思考自己的理想职业。】
