We all remember that first cry at the movies. Whether tears of joy or sadness, it’s remarkable how moving images on a screen can command our emotions. In fact, such moments are often carefully planned. But what about those heart-breaking stories made for children? They don’t seem to sugarcoat the harsh realities of the world.
Actually, many great children’s films filled with tragedy are purposefully designed to evoke strong feelings. According to Aristotle, tragedy helps us confront life’s unsolvable dilemmas through thoughtful reflection. Therefore, the presence of tragedy in kids’ movies serves to teach them how to handle, understand, and ultimately heal from pain. One of the hardest lessons for a child is learning to deal with loss, especially when it’s sudden. The classic cartoon The Lion King tells the story of Simba, who experiences the profound loss of his father. Children see themselves in Simba — a character with dreams, a desire to grow, and a longing to be part of a bigger world. Yet, witnessing his loss is truly heartbreaking.
Why, then, is a film that brings children to tears so beloved? The lesson it imparts is about overcoming suffering and moving forward. Hakuna Matata! Yes, this phrase from The Lion King teaches children that it’s okay to move on from tragic loss and not let it define them. It’s a crucial lesson learned at a very young age. Sadness should not be ignored; it’s important to feel it, which is why these films are so powerful. In Dumbo, Charlotte’s Web, and Bridge to Terabithia, we lose beloved characters. This deeply upsets young viewers, but it also teaches them to accept sadness and create something new from it.
So, what is the core message behind a sad children’s movie? It aims to teach the audience, especially children, how to gain independence and free themselves from the grip of tragedy. These stories act as a cushion, separating fiction from reality. They help children navigate sad feelings when they arise in real life, or at least find relief by embracing the spirit of Hakuna Matata.
1.Why does the author mention “first cry” in paragraph 1?
A.To promote a movie.
B.To explain the reason.
C.To support an argument.
D.To introduce the topic.
2.What does the underlined phrase “Hakuna Matata” in paragraph 3 mean?
A.Defining sadness as a treatment.
B.Challenging oneself with tragic losses.
C.Searching for knowledge to enrich life.
D.Heading forward without being trapped.
3.What can we learn from the last paragraph?
A.Sad kids’ movies help children to escape from reality.
B.Sad kids’ movies prepare children for life struggles.
C.Children can learn to ignore sadness in tragedy.
D.Children can find a way to hide sad feelings.
4.What is the best title for the text?
A.Why Are Great Kids’ Movies So Sad?
B.What Is the Power of Great Kids’ Movies?
C.Life’s Hardest Lesson: How Movies Encourage Us?
D.Moving Beyond Reality: What Kids’ Movies Teach Us?
【答案】1.D 2.D 3.B 4.D

1.推理判断题。根据第一段中的“We all remember that first cry at the movies. Whether tears of joy or sadness, it’s remarkable how moving images on a screen can command our emotions. In fact, such moments are often carefully planned. But what about those heart-breaking stories made for children? They don’t seem to sugarcoat the harsh realities of the world.(我们都记得在电影院第一次落泪的场景。无论是喜悦还是悲伤的泪水,屏幕上的动人画面能掌控我们的情绪,这很值得注意。事实上,这样的时刻往往是精心设计的。但那些为儿童制作的令人心碎的故事呢?它们似乎并没有粉饰世界的残酷现实。)”可知,作者提及“第一次落泪”是为了从大众对电影情感共鸣的普遍体验切入,进而引出本文核心话题——儿童电影中的悲伤情节。故选D项。
2.词句猜测题。根据第三段中的“The lesson it imparts is about overcoming suffering and moving forward. Hakuna Matata! Yes, this phrase from The Lion King teaches children that it’s okay to move on from tragic loss and not let it define them.(它所传递的道理是克服苦难、继续前行。Hakuna Matata!没错,这个来自《狮子王》的短语告诉孩子们,从悲惨的失去中走出来是没问题的,不要让失去定义自己。)”可知,画线短语前提到它所传递的道理,画线短语后提到,这个道理就是《狮子王》告诉孩子们的道理,由此可推断,“Hakuna Matata”的含义与“克服苦难、继续前行,不被悲剧困住”一致。故选D项。
3.细节理解题。根据最后一段中的“They help children navigate sad feelings when they arise in real life, or at least find relief by embracing the spirit of Hakuna Matata.(它们帮助孩子们在现实生活中出现悲伤情绪时应对这些情绪,或者至少通过接纳‘Hakuna Matata’的精神获得慰藉。)”可知,悲伤的儿童电影能帮助儿童为现实生活中的困境和情感挑战做好准备。故选B项。
4.主旨大意题。通读全文,尤其是最后一段中的“So, what is the core message behind a sad children’s movie? It aims to teach the audience, especially children, how to gain independence and free themselves from the grip of tragedy.(那么,悲伤的儿童电影背后的核心信息是什么?它旨在教会观众,尤其是儿童,如何获得独立,从悲剧的束缚中解脱出来。)”可知,文章围绕儿童电影中的悲伤情节展开,重点阐述其教会儿童超越悲剧、应对现实情感的意义,D项“超越现实:儿童电影教会我们什么?”最能概括全文主旨,适合作为最佳标题。故选D项。
The Chinese animated (动画的) movie Ne Zha 2 has become the highest-earning animated movie of all time globally since Feb. 18. This shows how big and successful China’s movie industry can be, according to China Daily.
Masses of amazing visuals and exciting experience are key reasons for Ne Zha 2’s success. The movie has a huge challenge for any single studio. Instead of one company, 138 Chinese animation studios and over 4,000 professionals worked together to create the film, including both well-known giants and smaller studios, Beijing Daily reported.
Red Whale Studios from Suzhou worked on a quarter of the production of Ne Zha 2, making it the biggest company involved in making the movie. The beautiful scenes in the movie, like fish swimming in the waves, were created by 160 people who worked day and night for 26 months, according to the official WeChat account of the Suzhou government.
Director Yang Yu, known as Jiaozi, explained that while international teams were initially considered for special effects, the results didn’t meet the standards. “Even top studios from international teams may use less experienced employees,” he told CCTV. Instead, he decided to let domestic teams refine the effects, ensuring the project was in expert hands.
One standout example is the work with Fantawild Animation, a film company based in Shenzhen. They were responsible for creating the attractive waterfall in the forest fight scene. Waterfalls are massive in size and have complex and ever-changing flow patterns. To make the waterfall look realistic, the team used advanced physics simulation (模拟) techniques with 50 high-performance workstations to do the necessary processing. The team worked hard to ensure that the final effect was grand and consistent with the style of the waterfalls.
In the movie, Ne Zha says, “If there’s no path ahead, I will create one.” Also, 138 Chinese animation companies have come together to shape the future of Chinese animation, showing the strength and creativity of the industry.

2.What does the underlined word “refine” in paragraph 4 mean?
A.Replace. B.Create. C.Improve. D.Increase.
3.What does the author suggest about Chinese animation companies by citing Ne Zha’s line (台词)?

B.They are eager to expand into overseas markets.
C.They hope for greater recognition of Chinese animation.
D.They are keen on promoting traditional culture.
4.Where is this passage most likely taken from?
A.A travel magazine. B.A film-making textbook.
C.An entertainment news report. D.A scientific research paper.

Several studies show communication skills are the most important skills for American adults. They are often taught through Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) programs, which encourage student involvement (参与), offered in K-12 schools in 27 states. But they are also a by-product of theater classes, according to a recent study. The study followed children aged 5 to 18 over six years and found increases in communication skills across ages. The longer the kids spent on the theater classes, the more they gained in 21st-century skills, like communication, creativity, imagination, and problem solving, says Thalia Goldstein, the study’s co-author.
Theater involves different learning —getting up on your feet to take in information, rather than sitting at a desk. “When you put something in your body, it lasts longer, and you remember it longer,” says Kathryn Dawson, associate professor of theater at the University of Texas at Austin. Theater provides an awareness of space. And it enables more than expressions with words.
For children with autism (孤独症), theater techniques increase eye attention and inspire conversation. This is where the arts level the playing field for children of different abilities; they can participate in meaningful ways where language is not a necessary skill.
Sara Williams, Charlotte’s mother, cites theater as the foundation (基础) for her daughter’s self-awareness. Charlotte began drama classes at age 5. At 13, she is not afraid to speak publicly or join the student council; she listens and has confidence. “Kids go to these classes and come home feeling excited, like they have achieved something.” Williams says. And not just the outgoing kids — for the shy, theater opens them up. A theater class provides a supportive environment, free from unkind judgment. You can keep your personality, and unlike in sports, you’re not competing with anyone.
“Theater is about telling stories. It is one of the best ways to help young people get to know themselves,” Dawson says.
1.What does the recent study find out?
A.Theater classes contribute greatly to children’s social skills.
B.Communication skills matter to children’s development.
C.Theater classes are more effective than SEL programs.
D.Children’s interest in theater classes changes with age.
2.How does Kathryn Dawson explain the impact of theater learning?
A.It focuses on improving one’s artistic skills.
B.It raises children’s awareness of confidence.
C.It strengthens a sense of community among children.
D.It promotes active learning through physical involvement.
3.What can we infer from the third paragraph?
A.Theater techniques are based on language learning.
B.Theater experiences help practise competitive skills.
C.Theater techniques benefit a wide range of children.
D.Theater classes can be unsuitable for outside children.
4.What can theater bring to shy children according to the example?
A.A means of gaining an understanding of others.
B.A comfortable space for self-expression.
C.A gateway to discovering hidden talents.
D.A chance to accept your disadvantages.
【答案】1.A 2.D 3.C 4.B

4.细节理解题。根据文章第四段“And not just the outgoing kids — for the shy, theater opens them up. A theater class provides a supportive environment, free from unkind judgment. You can keep your personality, and unlike in sports, you’re not competing with anyone.(不仅仅是外向的孩子,对于害羞的孩子来说,戏剧敞开了他们的心扉。戏剧课提供了一个支持性的环境,没有不友善的评判。你可以保持你的个性,而且不像在体育运动中,你不用和任何人竞争。)”可知,根据所举例子,戏剧能给害羞的孩子带来一个舒适的自我表达的空间。故选B。
A new technology may change the way people watch movies at the theater. Instead of watching a film on the screen, you will enter the scene and watch the action take place all around you. This is what Virtual Reality, or VR, and 360-degree video promise to give audience.
The film called Career Opportunities in Organized Crime (COOR) is the first full-length film made in 360-degree Virtual Reality. Online websites like YouTube and Vimeo have already offered some VR films.
To watch VR films, people should wear expensive VR headsets that cover their eyes and ears. VR headsets can also be used to view films that advertise(为……做广告) trips. They help people who cannot travel, but want to feel the experience of going to places around the world. And these headsets have been used by computer game players since they were created. But many people usually feel sick when using them.
There is a similar movie technology. Japanese NHK Media showed the 8K resolution 3-D film. The sound system for the film used 24 speakers. As music played around people, images appeared to jump out of the screen. But this high technology comes at a high cost. A company spokesman said the video and sound system costs $500,000. That is more than average movie theaters will pay. Theater owners won’t spend so much money on devices (设备) that may be popular for only a short time.
However, experts note the movie theater business now faces strong competition from the home theater system and piracy (盗版). Changing the way people see movies at the theater may give the business new life.
1.VR technology is created to ________.
A.introduce some online websites
B.encourage people to make movies
C.make people feel they are in the movie
D.encourage people to watch movies at home
2.According to the passage, VR headsets ________.
A.can’t be used for playing games
B.can help people protect the head
C.are comfortable for people to wear
D.allow people to travel without leaving home
3.What can we learn about 8K resolution 3-D film?
A.It is quite different from VR films.
B.The technology for it is very expensive.
C.It is popular with some theater owners.
D.Its sound system needs special headsets.
4.The passage is written mainly to ________.
A.introduce a new film — COOR
B.advise people to watch more movies
C.draw more people’s attention to the film
D.show technology may change movie business
根据第一段中“Instead of watching a film on the screen, you will enter the scene and watch the action take place all around you. This is what Virtual - Reality, or VR, and 360 - degree video promise to give audience.( 你将不再是在屏幕上看电影,而是进入场景,观看在你周围发生的动作。这就是虚拟现实(VR)和 360 度视频承诺给观众的东西。)”这表明 VR 技术的创建是为了让人们感觉自己置身于电影场景之中,就像在电影里一样。故选C项。
2.细节理解题。根据第三段中“VR headsets can also be used to view films that advertise trips. They help people who cannot travel, but want to feel the experience of going to places around the world.( VR 头戴设备也可以用来观看宣传旅行的电影。它们帮助那些不能旅行但想感受去世界各地旅行体验的人。)”可知,VR头戴设备可以让人们不用离开家就能有旅行的体验。故选D项。
3.细节理解题。根据第四段中“But this high technology comes at a high cost. A company spokesman said the video and sound system costs$500,000. That is more than average movie theaters will pay.( 但这种高科技成本很高。一位公司发言人说,视频和音响系统耗资50 万美元。这超过了普通电影院愿意支付的费用。)”可知,8K分辨率3-D电影的技术非常昂贵。故选B项。
4.推理判断题。根据文章大意以及最后一段“However, experts note the movie theater business now faces strong competition from the home theater system and piracy (盗版). Changing the way people see movies at the theater may give the business new life.( 然而,专家指出,电影院业务现在面临着来自家庭影院系统和盗版的激烈竞争。改变人们在电影院看电影的方式可能会给这个行业带来新的生机。)”可知,文章开篇介绍了VR 技术和 360 度视频这种新的电影观看技术,接着又介绍了8K分辨率3-D 电影这种类似的高科技电影技术,最后提到改变人们在电影院看电影的方式可能会给这个行业带来新的生机。由此可知,这表明文章主要是展示技术可能会改变电影行业。故选D项。
Food and drinks in the 250 top American movies of recent decades largely fail US government diet recommendations (推荐) and UK youth advertising standards, a new study shows.
Researchers looked at the 250 most popular movies to check the food and drinks shown on-screen and see how well they aligned with (与……一致) what the government recommended people to eat and what Americans were actually eating. About 40% of drinks in these movies were alcoholic (含有酒精的). “The on-screen diet largely failed across the board to reach US government recommended daily intake levels — and it was similar in a lot of ways to what Americans actually eat, which we know to be a mostly unhealthy diet,” says lead author Bradley Turnwald. “Movies show unhealthy food as being stereotypical (模式化的), which Americans then see, which reinforces what is normative.”
To determine just how unhealthy the on-screen foods actually were, the researchers looked to other countries like the UK that were beginning to limit the types of food and drinks advertised to youth. Advertising unhealthy food and drinks was limited in the UK if 25% or more of the audience included youth under age 16. Researchers applied the UK rating system to the set of American movies and found that over 70% of movies received food ratings that would be illegal to advertise to youth under the UK standard. For drinks, over 90% of movies received ratings that would fail UK advertising standards.
“We have spent a lot of money and time educating people about the importance of eating well. But these methods only take us so far,” says senior author Alia Crum, assistant professor of psychology. “The food shown in popular movies send a clear message — not only about what is common to eat but also about what food is attractive or cool to eat. If our favorite actors and superheroes aren’t eating salads, why should we?”
1.What did the researchers try to find out about the on-screen diet?
A.Its health level. B.Its amount of fat.
C.Its role in the film. D.Its influence on the audience.
2.What do we know about the on-screen diet?
A.It changes as time goes by.
B.It is similar to Americans’ daily diet.
C.It provides a good example for people.
D.It is healthier than what researchers have expected.
3.What can we learn from Paragraph 3?
A.The on-screen diet is unhealthy in the UK too.
B.Advertising unhealthy diet is not allowed in the UK.
C.People in the UK have a different unhealthy diet.
D.The UK has a much higher standard of the on-screen diet.
4.What might Alia Crum agree with according to the last paragraph?
A.Movies have the power to educate people.
B.Movies can be the mirror of social reality.
C.Movies are an important part of people’s daily lives.
D.Movies shouldn’t be judged only on food messages they deliver.
【答案】1.A 2.B 3.D 4.A

4.推理判断题。根据最后一段“The food shown in popular movies send a clear message—not only about what is common to eat but also about what food is attractive or cool to eat. If our favorite actors and superheroes aren’t eating salads, why should we? (流行电影中展示的食物传达了一个明确的信息——不仅关于什么是常见的食物,还关于什么食物是有吸引力的或很酷的食物。如果我们最喜欢的演员和超级英雄都不吃沙拉,我们为什么要吃?)”可知,阿莉娅·克鲁姆可能会同意电影有教育人的力量。故选A。
Onstage, 21-year-old Jiang Zhounan brings stories to life, while offstage, she finds great joy and excitement in her own passionate story with speeding motorcycle. Born in 2003, Jiang represents the grace of the stage and the freedom of the open road. Her life combines the grace of traditional Yueju Opera with the thrill of biking.
Her journey into the world of art began by chance in her second year of junior middle school. During a singing practice, Jiang’s clear voice and heartfelt emotion drew the attention of her teacher. Recognizing her talent, the teacher handed her a registration brochure for the Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art, setting her on the path to becoming a Yueju Opera performer.
At the school, Jiang was lucky to find a teacher who provided professional guidance and personal support, allowing her to fully devote herself to the study of the art form. Upon graduating in 2022, she joined the Yueju Opera troupe (剧团) at the Nantong Art Theater, where she focuses on laodan (senior female roles) while also performing zhengdan (young female roles). Her excellent voice skills and nuanced (细致入微的) performances quickly made her a standout member of the troupe. Yueju Opera is a traditional style of opera popular in the Yangtze River Delta region. Its male roles are typically played by women.
But in her free time, Jiang falls in love with a different kind of performance. Shortly after starting her career, she met a group of female motorcyclists during an outreach performance in the countryside. Their confident, spirited behaviour fascinated her, leading to a passion for the speed and the freedom of motorcycling. In 2022, she bought herself a motorcycle, changing from a graceful Yueju Opera performer to an energetic, cool rider.
Jiang doesn’t see her two identities as opposite. She believes everyone has many sides to their character, with the stage reflecting just one side of her life and motorcycling marking the change from work to personal life.

Pilotti, inspired by Peking Opera’s unique theatrical style, decided to become an actor at an early age and chose to study physical theater at a Finnish university.
In 2009, as an exchange student, he arrived at the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts in Beijing to study Peking Opera for six months. Despite lacking Chinese language skills and Peking Opera background, he grasped the art form with the academy’s strict teaching. In 2010 and 2014, he returned to the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts to continue studying Peking Opera, which he later integrated into his original productions in Sweden.

But, when they can see the character up close in the show, it can be a surprise.”
Apart from merging Peking Opera elements with Western physical theater, Pilotti also engages children by interacting during shows and teaching them movements in workshops.
In addition to theater productions, he has been working as a cultural ambassador between China and Sweden, performing Peking Opera on variety shows, appearing in online videos, and giving speeches at forums.
Pilotti shares his work on his social media platforms, with many followers expressing awe at his performance and commending his efforts in promoting traditional Chinese culture. “My dream now is to do more cultural exchanges and maybe create a show where Chinese Peking Opera and Swedish actors perform together,” he says.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has demonstrated competence across various sectors, but matching human creativity remains hard to achieve. However, companies like StoryFit are using AI in a much novel way, particularly in the film industry, where it is revolutionizing how scripts are developed, and stories are told.
Initially, Monica Landers, founder and CEO of StoryFit, used AI technology to aid publishers in narrowing down their “slush piles” (未处理的文稿) to a shortlist of promising books. However, StoryFit found the publishing industry’s growth potential insufficient and targeted the film industry instead. Consequently, it has become the force behind several successful films in recent years.
Primarily, StoryFit analyzes a script’s (剧本) marketability, assessing where a story fits with the audience and how each storytelling element resonates (引起共鸣). The film industry is high-risk, with considerable investments required before generating returns. StoryFit provides data on whether those risks are likely to be fruitful. StoryFit’s AI technology checks character traits (特征) to evaluate audience responses, determining how heroic or relatable a main character might be. This information allows creative professionals to identify potential character imbalances.
Beyond marketability, StoryFit also analyzes audience connections to the storyline, offering insights into aspects such as the audience’s emotional journey throughout an episode or the impact of a favorite character’s departure. The company also reports on plot inconsistencies, such as characters behaving consistently with their established traits or disappearing from the storyline. Nevertheless, Landers emphasizes that their role is to draw insights from the data rather than comment on the script. She stated, “You have people whose whole careers are based on making those decisions. But we can be a technology voice that helps them to shine a light on what’s happening or not happening in the script.”
Using AI technology like StoryFit in the film industry demonstrates artificial intelligence’s potential to enhance storytelling. As the technology advances, its impact on the film industry will only grow, paving the way for more engaging and resonant cinematic experiences.
1.What caused StoryFit to shift its focus from publishing to films?
A.The financial difficulties.
B.The limited growth prospect.
C.The decreasing customer base.
D.The insufficient AI competence.
2.What is StoryFit able to do according to Paragraph 3?
A.rewrite scripts for a wider audience.
B.Determine the amount of investment.
C.Evaluate scripts’ potential for success.
D.Facilitate the process of screen writing.
3.According to Landers, what is StoryFit’s role in script analysis?
A.A data-driven advisor.
B.A decision-maker.
C.A marketing specialist.
D.A content developer.
4.What is the author’s attitude toward the application of AI in the film industry?
A.Unclear. B.Supportive.
C.Objective. D.Concerned.
【答案】1.B 2.C 3.A 4.B

Looking for a new film for the holiday season? Consider watching the 1904 version (版本) of “Little Women,” starring Susan Sarandon, Winona Ryder, Claire Danes and Kirsten Dunst.
Here are two reasons why you should devote a movie night to this modern classic. First, no work of literature deals with female character formation quite as well as Louisa May Alcott’s 1868 novel. And the 1994 film, directed by Gillian Armstrong, stays true to the spirit of this classic book about four sisters growing up in New England. Second, the film stands out independent of the novel, by stressing that living well means centering on others.
In the book, Alcott describes the four March sisters, showing both their admirable qualities and weaknesses that need to be managed. They walk a road to adulthood that is full of personal struggles, self-sacrifice (自我牺牲), and hard-won self-knowledge. Their characters are complex and well-developed, not shallow or simplistic. This well-rounded focus on women’s many sides sets “Little Women” apart from other 19th-century American stories about women, which often had overly emotional and romantic views of women’s lives.
In addition to several versions of different quality produced over the years, there is also Greta Gerwig’s 2019 feature-length adaptation. Despite an outstanding performance by Saoirse Ronan, whose Jo, the second-oldest March sister, is perhaps the most detailed and realistic of all, this modern version awkwardly changes Alcott’s message about 19th-century ideas of femininity. Toward the end of the film, Jo says lines that seem borrowed from a 21st-century course on women’s studies, and reflect experts’ understanding rather than the original text and spirit of the novel.
So, all in all, only the 30-year-old film can be watched again and again. In the 1994 adaptation, overlaided on the central plot of character development is a warm, idealized, familial atmosphere. This quality is key and hard to measure. In short, it’s the kind of movie that makes you want to reach for a blanket and tea, even if you typically don’t like blankets and aren’t a tea drinker. This is what makes it a movie that stands alone, independent of the book.
1.Why does the author recommend the 1994 adaptation of “Little Women”?
A.It stars one of his favorite actresses.
B.It has been popular for the past 30 years.
C.It deals with the topic of women creatively.
D.It remains faithful to the original novel.
2.What does the author intend to stress about “Little Women” in paragraph 3?
A.How it stands out from similar novels.
B.Why it appeals to female readers.
C.What makes it go beyond time and space.
D.What unique writing style it has.
3.What is a weakness of Greta Gerwig’s 2019 adaptation?
A.It uses too many special effects. B.It includes modern ideas about women.
C.It changes the original story a lot. D.It lacks excellent performances.
4.What quality of the 1994 adaptation does the author show in the last paragraph?
A.Its lasting popularity. B.Its simplified storyline.
C.Its marked social effects. D.Its inviting feel.
【答案】1.D 2.A 3.B 4.D

2.细节理解题。根据第三段中“This well-rounded focus on women’s many sides sets “Little Women” apart from other 19th-century American stories about women, which often had overly emotional and romantic views of women’s lives.(这种对女性多方面的全面关注使《小妇人》有别于其他19世纪美国关于女性的故事,后者往往对女性的生活有过多的情感和浪漫看法)”可知,作者在第三段强调《小妇人》与其他类似小说的不同之处。故选A项。
3.细节理解题。根据第四段“In addition to several versions of different quality produced over the years, there is also Greta Gerwig’s 2019 feature-length adaptation. 4.细节理解题。根据最后一段中“In the 1994 adaptation, overlayed on the central plot of character development is a warm, idealized, familial atmosphere. This quality is key and hard to measure. In short, it’s the kind of movie that makes you want to reach for a blanket and tea, even if you typically don’t like blankets and aren’t a tea drinker.(在1994年的改编版本中,在人物发展的中心情节之上,笼罩着一种温暖、理想化的家庭氛围。这种品质是关键,而且很难衡量。简而言之,这是一种让你想要拿起毯子,端起茶的电影,即使你通常不喜欢毯子,也不喝茶)”可知,作者在最后一段表现了1994年改编版本的吸引人的氛围。故选D项。

1.What can be known about Ne Zha 2 from the passage?
A.It was produced by a Chinese film company.
B.It features a large number of visual effects.
C.It has won a good reputation in overseas markets.
D.It has become the most profitable Chinese movie ever.
2.What does the underlined word “refine” in paragraph 4 mean?
A.Replace. B.Create. C.Improve. D.Increase.
3.What does the author suggest about Chinese animation companies by citing Ne Zha’s line (台词)?
A.They are determined to innovate and succeed.
