· 考点一:语篇特征识别
解题策略
1. 先看标题/小标题:判断体裁(如Vacation Package→旅游广告);
2. 扫描视觉提示:粗体字、表格、数字优先看,这些是高频考点;
3. 定位核心信息区:广告找Price/Date/Include,通知找 Time/Venue/Requirements。
· 核心解读
快速识别应用文的体裁、结构与关键信息位置,是解题的前提。不同体裁的语篇有固定的信息布局(如广告的价格/优惠、通知的时间/要求)。
典型例句
①广告类
Package Includes: 5 Nights’ Accommodations, Discover Nashville Tour, Grand Ole Opry Tickets
旅游广告→核心信息:包含服务
②通知类
Deadline for application: Jan. 15th. Requirements: aged 18+, resume required
招聘通知→核心信息:截止日期、要求

Passage 1
Make Your Own Sports Drink
Coconut water contains natural electrolytes (电解质) , including potassium and sodium, which are critical to proper nerve and muscle function. Instead of grabbing a commercial sports drink that contains unnecessary sugar, calories, and artificial dyes (染料), mix equal parts coconut water and fresh-squeezed juice (and a dash of raw honey, if you like it sweet) for an all-natural version.Freeze
Fruity Pops (冰棒)
Turn these summer treats into a refueling tool. Blend a hydrating (水合物) fruit such as watermelon (which contains 91.5 percent water) with lemon juice (an excellent source of potassium). Add coconut water for an electrolyte boost and raw honey for a touch of sweetness, if you like. Then fill ice pop molds and freeze for about an hour.
Sip Some Summer Soup
No one wants hot soup on a. summer day. Instead, make a classic gazpacho (番茄冻汤) by blending tomato (which contains 94.5 percent water) and cucumber (which contains 96.7 percent water) with a little garlic and sea salt. Or experiment with cold soups made from other foods with high water content, such as cauliflower, celery, spinach, berries, and zucchini.

Passage 5
Technology doesn’t need to look new to be new. Get on-board with the retro trend with these backwards-looking, forwards-thinking gadgets.
Wake up happy
Convenient coffee capsules and beans-to-cup espresso makers grab the limelight, but for my money the best home-brewed coffee is still from a traditional drip filter, and Technivorm-Moccamaster (£210-£299) is King of Machines. Hand-assembled in the Netherlands since 1964, mine’s mustard yellow—but they also do apple green, neon orange, soft pink…basically, the color palette of Cadillac dreams. Individual heating elements maintain optimum brewing and hotplate temperatures, and it’s speedy as hell: ten cups in six minutes.
Game on
The retro gaming trend refuses to die, as 30 - and 40-somethings relive their youth. Some simply plug-in Nintendo re-issues; others go as far as restoring full-size vintage arcades. But what if you never threw away your old games in the first place? If you’ve got a loft stuffed with Sega Mega Drive cartridges, or a drawer of original PlayStation discs, consider investing in a Polymega Modular Gaming Console (base unit £195, modules £47). It can handle titles from all the classic systems, many of which can now be snapped up cheaply on eBay. It comes with a slick wireless gaming controller, and lets you back up your games to its internal memory.
Shake it like a Polaroid picture!
The digital revolution killed the market for film-based photography at the turn of the century — but make-up artists and hipsters continued buying instant cameras, so Polaroid started making them again. Inspired by the 1977 original, Polaroid Originals One Step 2 (£119) includes a rechargeable battery, a timer function for group shots, and is compatible with a range of different films, so you can tinge your prints with purples, pinks and teals, just like an Instagram filter. Sadly, the film remains insanely expensive: £17.99 buys you just eight snaps.
Get on down
Looking vaguely like a vintage Olympus camera, the Geneva Touring/XS (£135) is actually a cracking Bluetooth speaker, with two front-facing active drivers and a 20-hour battery life. The Swiss-engineered retro casing is its secret weapon: the metal volume dial recalling the tuning wheel of a 1960s portable radio; the timeless leather finish adding a dash of 1980s Filofax couture. At just 17 cm, it can travel pretty much anywhere and add a touch of class to any hotel room.
17.What is the common feature of these gadgets?
A.They are restoring their popularity. B.They are following new trends.
C.They bring about digital revolution. D.They can contribute to our daily life.
18.Which product will cost you most?
A.Geneva Touring/XS. B.Technivorm-Moccamaster.
C.Polymega Modular Gaming Console. D.Polaroid Originals One Step 2.
19.What can be inferred from “Game on”?
A.Many games lost their attraction. B.People react indifferently to their old games.
C.Multimedia equipment is not accessible. D.Old classics gain great popularity.
20.What does Polaroid Originals One Step 2 feature?
A.It adapts to different films. B.It has filters like Instagram.
C.It needs no battery. D.It aims at make-up artists.

20.细节理解题。根据“Shake it like a Polaroid picture!”部分“Inspired by the 1977 original, Polaroid Originals One Step 2 (£119) includes a rechargeable battery, a timer function for group shots, and is compatible with a range of different films, so you can tinge your prints with purples, pinks and teals, just like an Instagram filter.(受1977年原版的启发,宝丽来Originals One Step 2(119英镑)包括可充电电池、用于集体照的定时功能,并且与一系列不同的胶片兼容,所以你可以用紫色、粉色和蓝绿色给照片上色,就像Instagram滤镜一样)”可知,宝丽来Originals One Step 2的特点是它可以适应不同的胶片。

Bel Air flies all the newest and fastest, to more towns and cities in more countries in the world, than any other airline.
Do you want to go to Paris, Washington, Tokyo? Bel Air will take you there at all times of the day or the night, right through the week.
But Bel Air flies not only to the big cities in the rich countries. We fly two or three times a week to towns and cities in the very heart of Asia, Africa and South America.
People who travel a lot fly with Bel Air, because they know they will leave on time and arrive on time. They know that the food they will receive and the film they will watch, will be of the best.

Frank Bowling
Born in Guyana (then a British territory) in 1934, Frank Bowling moved to London in 1953 at 19 years old, where he discovered his passion for painting. After a few years, he earned a place at the Chelsea School of Art and then joined the Royal College of Art, from which he graduated with the silver medal for painting in 1962. He soon evolved from portraits into abstract art and by the mid-1960s, he was recognized by peers as an original force with a style combining figurative, symbolic and abstract elements.
Lubaina Himid
Born in Zanzibar in 1954, Lubaina Himid moved to Britain in the1960s with her parents and grew up in London. She studied theater design and then entered the Royal Art College. From the early 1980s, she curated some of the first large exhibitions of black artists. Since, she has never stopped supporting other black artists.
Keith Piper
