Time poverty can happen when study, work, or social duties take up too much of a person’s time, leaving little or no time for fun or personal interests. It can also happen when people feel like they are running out of time to reach their goals or finish tasks before the deadline (截止日期). Besides, we often say “yes” to any extra work. In order to make better use of your time, you can make careful plans before you actually spend it. Try to find out what things in your life are not that important for now and put them off. In this way, you can stick to your plan and focus better on your work.
④Make quality time a true value in your life. It’s important to focus on how you spend your time with someone or doing something. Train yourself to be more present in your life. That is to say, pay attention to one thing at a time. For example, when you are spending time with your family, be present and enjoy yourself rather than still worry about work.

Everyone may feel angry at any time. It’s a common feeling. Some people cry when they feel angry and some may shout. Unluckily, many of us have been used to hiding anger, A study suggests that this can have long-term bad influences on our health.
Is it better to cry or break things whenever something makes us angry? The study points out that when we show our anger in this way, we can't probably get on well with our friends or our family. Everyone in the line has dinner to make, just like us. Then we’ll feel better. Another way of dealing with anger is to talk about it. The study has shown that if we name our feelings, we can slowly calm ourselves down.

The festival has rapidly developed with traditional culture and modern technologies, becoming a shining name card for Chinese culture to go out into the world.
“Making a huge lantern requires 17 steps,” said Wan Songtao, an inheritor (传承人) of Zigong lantern-making. “Each step is finished by a team instead of a single maker,” Wan added. A special kind of lantern called Sundial, made by Wan’s team, for example, took about 80 makers over 50 days to complete the whole process. Unlike the lanterns in other places, Zigong lanterns use modern technologies such as AI, engineering, and holography (全息摄影术). They are a perfect all-in-one use of lights, sounds and movements.
What’s more, the theme of the lantern can be chosen in different ways. “Anything that is designed on a lantern can make a wonderful show, and everyone is encouraged to turn their ideas into real works,” said Zhang Fanglai, a leading researcher at the Colorful Lantern Museum of China. Passage 1
(24-25九上·湖北孝感孝南区·期末)
Whether it’s putting your elbows on the table or talking with a mouth full of food, everyone has to watch their manners at some time. Manners have developed over thousands of years and are always changing. Around 100 years ago, children weren’t allowed to speak unless parents spoke to them first. Now young people can make their voices heard in many places.
Manners also mean different things in different countries. Eating food loudly is considered quite impolite in some countries, but in others it’s a sign that people are enjoying their meal. What do you think, are manners important?
Many old people think so. They believe kind words and actions are good to everyone. When someone has good manners, it shows they care about other people’s feelings and want them to be comfortable. In other words, well-mannered people make the world a happier place. Manners also help keep everyone healthy, which is why people should cover their mouths when they cough and keep dirty feet off seats.
However, some young men don’t think so. They hold the idea that manners make people act in a way that doesn’t mean how they really feel. If someone says “thank you” or “sorry” when they don’t mean it, they’re not being polite. In Europe, manners were a way of showing how rich a person was, but does it really matter what type (类型) of knife people use to eat fish? As long as people are kind to others, they should be allowed to act how they like.

B.Eating fish with a knife shows you’re rich.

D.Eating loudly can be good manners sometimes.

Movies started in the late 1800s. In the early days, they were just short little clips (电影片段) that only lasted a minute or two. ①In today’s busy world, research shows that more and more people are feeling “time poor”. It could be to help your team or your friends. But by saying “yes” to everything, you are adding another task to an already full plate.
②People who don’s t have enough time fail to perform well at work and remain stressed. Too much stress can harm mental (心理的) health. Moreover, less quality (优质的) time with friends and family can make a person feel lonelier. So how can you stop being time poor?
③Manage your time properly. It may seem harmless to stay in bed till noon on weekends, but the time wasted every week can add up quickly if you don’t realize it.

Passage 3
(24-25九上·湖北枣阳)
Zigong, in Sichuan Province is home to Chinese lanterns. Zigong lanterns are known as the best lanterns in the world. The Zigong Lantern Festival dates back to the Tang Dynasty.
And the rich themes of Zigong lanterns show the spirit of creativity and warmth from the bottom of the local people’s heart.
The government encourages local people to learn lantern-making widely. Without doubt, the Zigong Lantern Festival’s success is the local tradition of pulling together.
