It is seeing the happy smiles on the students' faces. He says their happiness is real, and that is what he really wants to protect. He is more than just a chicken cutlet seller; he is a joy-maker.

Recently, some eye-catching photos appeared online. They show some polar bears(北极熊) living in an old, empty weather station in the Arctic(北极). The bears are looking out of the broken windows. To many people, these photos are so surprising that they seem to come from a magical fairy tale. However, the polar bears' move is actually a clear sign that their real home is in danger.
So, why did the bears move in? That's because the old weather station gives the bears a safe place to hide from the bad weather. It offers a good place to keep them stay away from the strong winds and heavy snow.
But there is a second, more serious reason. Polar bears are hunters(猎手) that depend on sea ice. It is an important area where they can walk, rest, and most importantly, hunt. But our planet is slowly getting warmer because of the climate change(气候变化). This warmth melts(融化) the sea ice, which means the bears ‘hunting ground is disappearing. They must spend more time on land, and they have to find new ways and new places to live.
These interesting pictures tell an important story. They show us how clever and strong polar bears are. But they also give us a serious warning(警告): our actions have a great influence on animals and their homes.
Since we share one world, we must work together to protect it for all living things. By learning about climate change and trying to use less energy, we can help slow down the warming of our planet. In doing so, we may help to give the polar bears a chance to stay in their real home.
27. How do many people feel when they see the photos of the polar bears at first?
A. Surprised. B. Worried. C. Sad.
28. Why did the polar bears move into the old weather station?
A. It can protect them from other wild animals.
B. They need a safe place and the sea ice melts.
C. They enjoy spending more time with humans.
29. What is the structure of the passage?
A. ①/②/③④/⑤ B. ①②/③/④/⑤ C. ①/②③/④/⑤
30. What is the main purpose of the passage?
A. To show how clever and strong polar bears are.
B. To call on people to protect the planet together.
C. To ask people to send polar bears to their home.

第一节(共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分)
阅读下面短文,根据短文内容回答问题。
A video on Douyin, China's TikTok, shows that Jiang Xunqian hugged and worked with villagers of the Yi ethnic group(彝族). They were picking wild grass to make traditional art pieces. This video has got more than 2 million likes. It tells people about the old firegrass weaving technique(火草编织技艺)——a skill that Yunnan added to its intangible cultural heritage(ICH 非物质文化遗产) list in 2009.
Young people in China are increasingly putting ICH parts into their daily lives, from wearing clothes with ICH designs to tasting traditional foods. Some, like Jiang, are actively learning and sharing these ancient skills to keep them alive.
Jiang was born in 1996. She has over 22 million followers on Douyin. Her videos show different ICH hand- made works. In 2023, she became the first woman to learn Queshan Datiehua. It is a dangerous but beautiful traditional show using molten(熔化的) iron.
Jiang's love for ICH goes beyond personal achievements. She believes there's a great need to save these ancient skills and support older artists. She is one of many young people using social media to spread(传播) ICH culture. A Douyin report said that people born after 1995 are playing a key role in keeping and sharing ICH on the app.
Other young ICH artists are also exploring new ways to connect with other people. For example, shadow puppetry (皮影戏) artist Dang Feihua believes spreading traditional culture is about passing on cultural values. His teammates want more people to easily know and enjoy this art form so they offer performances and set up workshops.
Every act to save ICH is meaningful. Together, they are creating wonderful stories. These stories show how rich Chinese culture is, and help these cultural treasures shine in the new century.
56. When did Yunnan add the firegrass weaving skill to its ICH list?
57. Why does Jiang learn and share the ancient skills actively?
58. Is Jiang the first person to learn Queshan Datiehua?
59. How do Dang's teammates help people enjoy shadow puppetry easily?
60. What do you think of the artists' new ways to spread ICH?
