Due to the absence of broad roads, there are only three ways to explore below the edges: hiking, mule trips, and river rafting trips. Visitors are reminded to mind their steps along the way. Death Valley National Park As the largest national park south of Alaska, Death Valley National Park is known for extremes: It is North America’s driest and hottest spot with less than two inches of rainfall annually, and it has the lowest altitude on the continent. Even with these bad conditions, the park still attracts nearly a million visitors each year. Denali National Park and Preserve Larger than the state of New Jersey, Denali National Park and Preserve is a vast open field that is mostly untouched by human hands, apart from one park road and a few scattered services. It is known for extraordinary wildlife, and big adventures from backcountry camping to mountain climbing. White Sands National Park New Mexico’s White Sands National Park hit the big leagues in December 2019, becoming the country's 62nd national park. It protects the largest gypsum dune (石膏沙丘) on the earth, the remaining previous lakes and seas, and a 275-square-mile basin that is shiny white and stays cool to the touch. Visitors come to experience the eight-mile Dunes Drive, hike one of the five established trails, or see the soft sand appear blue-white under a full moon. 21 What can visitors do in Grand Canyon National Park? A. Enjoy the sight of the Statue of Liberty. B. Watch the largest gypsum dune. C. Experience more adventurous hiking. D. Explore more convenient paths to the gorge. 22. What's special about Death Valley National Park? A. It can be flooded easily. B. It has the extreme environment. C. It has terrible traffic conditions. D. It can provide the chance to see the soft sand. 23. Which of the following parks is the most appealing to wildlife lovers? A. Death Valley National Park. B. White Sands National Park. C. Grand Canyon National Park. D. Denali National Park and Preserve. B William Lindesay, well-known Great Wall expert and conservationist, and his wife Wu Qi have traveled across the globe by the back paths, providing their sons Jimmy and Tommy a unique environment for personal growth. Sunhats, backpacks, sneakers and trekking poles—these are the day-to-day must-haves of the family. This East-meets-West couple started traveling while their younger son was still a baby in 2003. Most of their trips are far from the hot spots recommended by travel guidebooks—heritage study in the Mongolian deserts, a 53-kilometer hiking tour of New Zealand, a one-day climb of three English summits and a six-day train ride from Beijing to Moscow. “Real travel may be hard, uncertain, uncomfortable, but there’s a feel-good factor when you pass a test of some kind,” Lindesay wrote in the family’s newly published travel memoir Pages of Discovery. Lindesay attaches great importance to learning out of the classroom, saying that children might score well on school tests, but that experience of the world outside, in distant lands, with different languages, scripts, political structures, and religious beliefs, is the real testing ground. Children in this international family did not have the same pressure to perform on school tests, but they had “homework” on the road. Wu asked her sons to write travel diaries, collect tickets, draw maps and summarize travel tips. She says such habits, though they might not directly improve test scores, will pay dividends in later life. These experiences certainly shaped their sons’ characters and influenced their chosen study at university. One read world history, the other international relations. The two brothers also share an interest in historical monuments, and the Great Wall in particular. They are now planning to follow in their father’s footsteps with a new 4,500-km hike on the Great Wall. “My parents view the world as a big classroom, and my brother and I are the biggest beneficiaries,” Jimmy says. 24. Which of the following best describes their trips across the world? A. Complicated and dangerous. B. Unique yet stressful. C. Challenging yet educational. D. Entertaining and rewarding. 25. What can we infer about the couple from the text? A. They think little of school education. B. They believe travel provides real education. C. They require their sons to follow their career path. D. They don’t expect their sons to perform well on school tests. 26. What do the underlined words “pay dividends” mean in paragraph 5? A. Bring advantages. B. Pay a price. C. Improve scores. D. Make mistakes. 27. What does the family’s story tell us? A. Roads were made for journeys not destination. B. No road is long with good company. C. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. D. It is better to travel 10,000 miles than to read 10,000 books. C Over the last seven years, most states have banned texting by drivers, and public service campaigns have tried a wide range of methods to persuade people to put down their phones when they are behind the wheel. Yet the problem, by just about any measure, appears to be getting worse. Americans are still texting while driving, as well as using social networks and taking photos. Road accidents, which had fallen for years, are now rising sharply. That is partly because people are driving more, but Mark Rosekind, the chief of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, said distracted(分心)driving was "only increasing, unfortunately." "Big change requires big ideas." he said in a speech last month, referring broadly to the need to improve road safety. So to try to change a distinctly modern behavior, lawmakers and public health experts are reaching back to an old approach: They want to treat distracted driving like drunk driving. An idea from lawmakers in New York is to give police officers a new device called the Textalyzer. It would work like this: An officer arriving at the scene of a crash could ask for the phones of the drivers and use the Textalyzer to check in the operating system for recent activity. The technology could determine whether a driver had just texted, emailed or done anything else that is not allowed under New York's hands-free driving laws. "We need something on the books that can change people's behavior,” said Félix W. Ortiz, who pushed for the state's 2001 ban on hand-held devices by drivers. If the Textalyzer bill becomes law, he said, "people are going to be more afraid to put their hands on the cell phone." 28. Which of the following best describes the ban on drivers' texting in the US? A. Ineffective. B. Unnecessary. C. Inconsistent. D. Unfair. 29. What can the Textalyzer help a police officer find out? A. Where a driver came from. B. Whether a driver used their phone. C. How fast a driver was going. D. When a driver arrived at the scene. 30. What does the underlined word "something" in the last paragraph refer to? A. Advice. B. Data. C. Tests. D. Laws. 31. What is a suitable title for the text? A. To Drive or Not to Drive? Think Before You Start B Texting and Driving? Watch Out for the Textalyzer C. New York Banning Hand-Held Devices by Drivers. D. The Next Generation Cell Phone: The Textalyzer. D Rich variety exists in primates (灵长目动物). Monkeys roll on snowy Japanese mountains, gorillas chew fruit on Sumatra, lemurs jump between trees in Madagascar, and the naked apes — humans — walk proudly on two legs worldwide. Scientists can now study the DNA differences beyond that diversity, thanks to a databank of genomes (基因组) from 233 species. To understand the good and bad of human evolution — both our extraordinary adaptations and disease-causing changes — scientists must compare the genomes of Homo sapiens (智人) to our closest evolutionary relatives, the primates. But researchers investigating diverse topics, from contemporary genetic diseases to human origins, have long faced a roadblock when pursuing this approach: While genomic data exists from millions of people, most of the 500-plus primate species never had their genomes read. So, in 2019, Tomàs Marquès-Bonet at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology, in Barcelona, Spain, and other biologists teamed up with disease researchers at the company Illumina, determined to obtain as many primate genomes as possible. Navigating wilderness and local permitting laws, the international researchers obtained hundreds of blood samples from wild and caged animals in South America, Africa, and Asia. Arranging DNA from these samples and adding data from previous studies, the team built a bank of 809 genomes from individual baboons, gorillas, gibbons, and more, representing nearly half the known primate species. The data revealed insights about human origins and health, as well as primate conservation, published by more than 100 scientists across 10 papers in Science and Science Advances in June 2023. One study trained artificial intelligence to search human genomes for DNA differences likely to cause disease, based on whether nonhuman primates can live with those variants. According to Marquès-Bonet, “We now have a really good list of the foundations of our species” and a “good idea of the kind of variations that are tolerated in any primate” — including humans. 32. What can we learn from paragraph 1? A. Primates vary mainly in habitats. B. Scientists focus on the diversity of primates. C. There are 233 species of primates in the world. D. Primate genomes are important for studying the DNA differences. 33. Why did the scientists build the databank of genomes? A. To cure human’s various genetic diseases. B. To help human adapt to the environment. C. To investigate the process of human evolution. D. To understand the strength and drawback of human evolution. 34. What is paragraph 3 mainly about? A. The reasons for building the databank. B. The process of building the databank. C. The impacts of building the databank. D. The difficulties in building the databank. 35. What does Marquès-Bonet think of the databank? A. It still needs to be improved. B. It is of great value to future research. C. It is of little help to future research. D. It is unclear whether it’s of help to future research. 第二节 (共5小题:每小题2.5分, 满分12.5分) 阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 How does it feel when you solve your problem by yourself? Because the boy was tense, the man wondered what could be worrying him. Whatever it was, the boy’s tension was clear. The boy kept staring out of the window, paying no attention to anyone else on the train. The man opened up a book and started reading. Now and then, he would look up and see the boy’s face pressed against the window. He sensed that the boy was fighting to keep from crying. Finally, the boy asked the man, “Do you know what time it is? And do you know when we are to arrive at Smithville?” The man gave the boy the time. Then the boy told the man the whole story of his life. “Four years ago,” he said, “I did something bad hurting my dad, so bad that I had to run away from home. I couldn’t face my father. So I left without even saying goodbye to him. Since then, I have worked here and there. I never stayed very long in one place. I’ve been pretty lonely. Until finally, I decided that I want to go back to my father and apologized to him.” The man went on to ask, “Does your father know you’re coming?” And the boy responded, “He knows I’m coming, but I don’t know if he will be there. I sent him a letter. I didn’t know if he would still want me back. I wasn’t sure if he would forgive me. So in my letter, I told him that if he wanted me to come home, he could put a sign on a tree which is a few hundred yards before the railroad station in Smithville. I told him that I would look for a yellow ribbon(丝带)on one of the branches of that tree as the train passes. If there is a yellow ribbon on the tree, then I’ll get off. If not, then I’ll just keep on riding to wherever this train goes.” The two of them were now waiting for Smithville. 注意: 1.续写词数应为150左右; 2.请按如下格式作答。 Now involved, the man stopped reading and also stared at the window. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A few moments later, the conductor came along and called out, “Next stop-Smithville.” ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $河南师范大学附属中学高二本部十月月考听力测试。该部分分为第一第二两节。注意听力部分答题时请先将答案标在试卷上,听力部分结束前,你将有两分钟的时间将答案转涂到答题卡上请看听力部分第一节,第一节听下面5段对话,每段对话后有一个小题,从题中所给的ABC3个选项中选出最佳选项。听完每段对话后,你都有10秒钟的时间来回答有关小题和阅读下一小题。每段对话仅读一遍,现在你有5秒钟的时间阅读第一小题的有关内容。Text one. are you already . to go back to school on monday? Jacob Brown is an award winning chef in new zealand who also cares about the environment. Since opening a popular restaurant with his wife sya bulloch, he has earned a reputation for shifting local diner's preferences toward unusual foods. A couple of years ago, Brown decided to add jellyfish to his highly experimental menu. The move was partly inspired by the growing numbers of jellyfish along new zealand's shores, a phenomenon linked to warmer sea temperatures, and also by rising public demand for more protein options. The problem is that Brown has to import jellyfish from south korea. Rules in new zeal mean that while it's perfectly legal for an individual to use local species for personal meals, companies aren't allowed to do the same. Despite these barriers, Brown hopes that the growing popularity of the seafood will change this rule, as well as what people think about eating different ocean species. 21. What can visitors do in Grand Canyon National Park? 【答案】21. C 22. B 23. D 【解析】 【分析】这是一篇说明文。文章讲述了几个国家公园及其特点。 【21题详解】 推理判断题。根据Grand Canyon National Park部分中的“Due to the absence of broad roads, there are only three ways to explore below the edges: hiking, mule trips, and river rafting trips. Visitors are reminded to mind their steps along the way.(由于没有宽阔的道路,只有三种方式探索边缘以下:徒步旅行、骡子旅行和漂流旅行。游客们会被提醒要注意沿途的脚步)”可知,在Grand Canyon National Park可以体验更多的冒险徒步旅行。故选C项。 【22题详解】 细节理解题。根据Death Valley National Park部分中的“As the largest national park south of Alaska, Death Valley National Park is known for extremes: It is North America’s driest and hottest spot with less than two inches of rainfall annually, and it has the lowest altitude on the continent.(作为阿拉斯加南部最大的国家公园,死亡谷国家公园以极端著称:它是北美最干燥、最热的地区,年降雨量不到两英寸,并且是该大陆海拔最低的地方)”可知, Death Valley National Park的极端环境是它的特别之处。故选B项。 【23题详解】 细节理解题。根据Denali National Park and Preserve部分中的“It is known for extraordinary wildlife, and big adventures from backcountry camping to mountain climbing.(它以非凡的野生动物和从野外露营到爬山的大冒险而闻名)”可知,Denali National Park and Preserve是最吸引野生动物的地方。故选D项。 B William Lindesay, well-known Great Wall expert and conservationist, and his wife Wu Qi have traveled across the globe by the back paths, providing their sons Jimmy and Tommy a unique environment for personal growth. 【答案】24. C 25. B 26. A 27. D 【解析】 【导语】本文是记叙文,文章主要讲述了著名的长城专家和自然环境保护主义者William Lindesay和妻子带着孩子环球旅行,这对夫妇相信旅行能提供真正的教育,他们用实际行动践行了“读万卷书不如行万里路”,并对两个孩子产生了深远的影响。 【24题详解】 推理判断题。根据第二段中“Most of their trips, most of which are far from the hot spots recommended by travel guidebooks, seem more rigorous than leisurely — heritage study in the Mongolian deserts, a 53-kilometer hiking tour of New Zealand, a one-day climb of three English summits and a six-day train ride from Beijing to Moscow.(他们的大部分旅行都远离旅游指南推荐的热门景点,似乎比在蒙古沙漠中学习遗产、在新西兰徒步旅行53公里、在英国攀登三座山峰一天以及从北京到莫斯科的六天火车旅行等悠闲的旅行要严格得多)”和第三段中“Real travel may be hard, uncertain, uncomfortable(真正的旅行可能是艰难的、不确定的、不舒服的)”可推知,他们的旅行是具有挑战性的;根据倒数第二段中“These experiences certainly shaped their sons’ characters and influenced their chosen study at university. One read world history, the other international relations. The two brothers also share an interest in historical monuments, and the Great Wall in particular.(这些经历无疑塑造了他们儿子的性格,并影响了他们选择在大学学习。一个读世界历史,另一个读国际关系。这两兄弟还对历史遗迹,尤其是长城很感兴趣)”可推知,这些旅行对孩子来说有教育意义,由此可知,他们的环球旅行是有挑战性,但很有教育意义。故选C。 【25题详解】 推理判断题。根据第四段“Lindesay attaches great importance to learning out of the classroom, saying that children might score well on school tests, but that experience of the world outside, in distant lands, with different languages, scripts, political structures, and religious beliefs, is the real testing ground.(Lindesay非常重视课堂外的学习,他说,孩子们可能在学校考试中取得好成绩,但在遥远的地方,在不同的语言、文字、政治结构和宗教信仰的外部世界的经历,才是真正的试验场)”和第五段中“Wu asked her sons to write travel diaries, collect tickets, draw maps and summarize travel tips. She says such habits, though they might not directly improve test scores, will pay dividends in later life.(Wu让她的儿子们写旅行日记,收集车票,绘制地图,总结旅行小贴士。 根据第四段“Lindesay attaches great importance to learning out of the classroom, saying that children might score well on school tests, but that experience of the world outside, in distant lands, with different languages, scripts, political structures, and religious beliefs, is the real testing ground.(Lindesay非常重视课堂外的学习,他说,孩子们可能在学校考试中取得好成绩,但在遥远的地方,在不同的语言、文字、政治结构和宗教信仰的外部世界的经历,才是真正的试验场)”和最后一段中“My parents view the world as a big classroom, and my brother and I are the biggest beneficiaries(我的父母把世界看作一个大教室,我和哥哥是最大的受益者)”可知,Lindesay非常重视课堂外的学习,通过环球旅行,孩子们受益很多,他们认为旅途能提供真正的教育,由此可推知,这家人的故事告诉我们“读万卷书不如行万里路”,故选D。 C Over the last seven years, most states have banned texting by drivers, and public service campaigns have tried a wide range of methods to persuade people to put down their phones when they are behind the wheel. Think Before You Start B. Texting and Driving? Watch Out for the Textalyzer C. New York Banning Hand-Held Devices by Drivers. D. The Next Generation Cell Phone: The Textalyzer. A 29. B 30. D 31. 根据第一段中“Over the last seven years, most states have banned texting by drivers, and public service campaigns have tried a wide range of methods to persuade people to put down their phones when they are behind the wheel.”(在过去的七年里,大多数州都禁止司机发短信,公共服务活动也尝试了各种各样的方法来说服人们在开车时放下手机。)以及第二段中“Yet the problem, by just about any measure, appears to be getting worse.”(然而,无论以何种标准衡量,这个问题似乎都在恶化。) 故选A。 根据倒数第二段中“The technology could determine whether a driver had just texted, emailed or done anything else that is not allowed under New York's hands-free driving laws.”(这项技术可以确定司机是否发了短信、发了邮件,或者做了纽约免提驾驶法不允许的其他事情。) 根据句中的“We need something on the books that can change people's behavior.”(我们需要一些能改变人们行为的东西,)可知,something是能够改变人们的行为的事情。根据下文的“If the Textalyzer bill becomes law, he said, "people are going to be more afraid to put their hands on the cell phone.”(他说,如果Textalyzer法案成为法律,“人们会更害怕拿起手机。)可知,人们的行为会改变的条件是当Textalyzer法案成为法律。受到法律的约束和惩罚,司机们才不会在开车的时候使用手机。故something指代的是法律。故选D。 【31题详解】 主旨大意题。纵观全文,第一段和第二段阐述的是“虽然大多数州已经尝试了各种各样的方法来说服人们在开车时放下手机。可是问题却越来越严重”。第三段中“That is partly because people are driving more.”(部分原因是开车的人越来越多)可知,解释了该行为产生的部分原因。第四段至第五段讲述的是为了解决该问题是纽约立法者提出了一个新的想法即利用Textalyzer技术,来监控司机在开车的时候是否使用了手机。最后一段讲述的是:相关人士呼吁该项技术能够成为真正的法案由此才能真正地改变人们的行为。故B选项Texting and Driving? Watch Out for the Textalyzer(发短信还是在开车?防范短信监控器。)适合文章的标题。故选B。 D Rich variety exists in primates (灵长目动物). 【答案】32. D 33. D 34. B 35. B 【解析】 【导语】本文是一篇说明文,文章介绍了科学家们通过灵长类动物基因组数据库来研究DNA的差异。 【32题详解】 推理判断题。题目关键信息为“...learn from the first paragraph...”根据第一段“Scientists can now study the DNA differences beyond that diversity, thanks to a databank of genomes (基因组) from 233 species. (科学家们现在可以研究基因组多样性之外的DNA差异,这得益于来自233个物种的基因组数据库。)”可知,灵长类动物的基因组对于研究DNA的差异非常重要。故选D项。 【33题详解】 细节理解题。题目关键信息为“...build the databank of genomes...”根据第二段首句“To understand the good and bad of human evolution—both our extraordinary adaptations and disease-causing changes—scientists must compare the genomes of Homo sapiens (智人) to our closest evolutionary relatives, the primates. Things may not always go as planned, but being resourceful can help you stay calm and work your way out of tricky situations. Being resourceful means finding smart and creative ways to solve a problem, using whatever resources you have at the time. ____36____ They can also be anything else that’s useful, such as information, advice or your own experience. It also means trusting your instincts, the ability you’re born with, rather than through training and being confident about your ability to face challenges. A resourceful person is not the one getting cross or panicking when something goes wrong. They’re thinking about how to solve the problem. _____37_____ when we learn to problem solve for ourselves rather than immediately going to others for help it can help to build our confidence, help us feel more independent, and feel better about making decisions. Being resourceful may not help you avoid problems, but thinking creatively about how you can deal with them will make you feel less stressed and more prepared next time. _____38_____ This can boost self-esteem, that is, how you feel about yourself. When you’re facing a challenge, try to focus on the actual problem rather than how you feel about it. Think about where and when it happened and what the causes are. Next, think up as many solutions to the problem as you can. ____39____ Finally, review what has and hasn’t worked, so you’re equipped to deal with a situation next time. And remember, if you have a tricky problem that you’re unable to solve, then ask a trusted adult for help. ____40____ A. You also learn what you’re good at. B. Here is how you can be more resourceful. C. These may be practical things like pens and paper. D. No one is expected to solve all problems by themselves. E. Resourcefulness is a skill that’s good for you in lots of ways. F. They can be famous mottos that always inspire us to move on. G. Weigh up what’s good and bad about each one and choose the best. 【答案】36. F 37. E 38. A 39. G 40. D 【解析】 【导语】这是一篇说明文。文章介绍了遇到棘手的问题时的应对方法,要足智多谋,随机应变。 【36题详解】 根据前句“Being resourceful means finding smart and creative ways to solve a problem, using whatever resources you have at the time. (足智多谋意味着找到聪明和创造性的方法来解决问题,利用你当时拥有的任何资源。)”和后句“They can also be anything else that’s useful, such as information, advice or your own experience. (它们也可以是任何有用的东西,比如信息、建议或你自己的经历。)”中的also可知,空处和下文为并列关系,也是在列举可以利用的资源可能是什么。所以选择项F“These may be famous mottos that always inspire us to move on. (这些可能是著名的座右铭,总是激励我们继续前进。)”符合上下文语境。故选F。 【37题详解】 挖空处在段首,有可能是段落的主旨句。而后面“…it can help to build our confidence, help us feel more independent, and feel better about making decisions.(它可以帮助我们建立信心,帮助我们感到更独立,在做决定时感觉更好)”及“Being resourceful may not help you avoid problems, but thinking creatively about how you can deal with them will make you feel less stressed and more prepared next time.(足智多谋或许不能帮助你避免问题,但创造性地思考如何处理问题会让你感觉压力更小,下次准备更充分)”主要说的是“being resourceful”带来的好处, E选项意思就是resourcefulness 能带来很多好处。故选E。 【38题详解】 该段首句说的是“being resourceful”会对你有好处,前面两句“…it can help to build our confidence, help us feel more independent, and feel better about making decisions.(...它可以帮助我们建立信心,帮助我们感到更独立,在做决定时感觉更好)”及“Being resourceful may not help you avoid problems, but thinking creatively about how you can deal with them will make you feel less stressed and more prepared next time.(足智多谋或许不能帮助你避免问题,但创造性地思考如何处理问题会让你感觉压力更小,下次准备更充分)”具体列举了“being resourceful”带来的好处,A选项:你还能知道你所擅长的是什么,对自己更加了解,也契合下一句“This can boost self-esteem, that is, how you feel about yourself.这能提高自尊心。这是又一个好处,A项最符合语境。故选A。 【39题详解】 该段在讨论遇到困难时,要专注于问题本身,并列出了具体的步骤。上一句“Next, think up as many solutions to the problem as you can.(接下来,想出尽可能多的方法来解决问题)”讲的是“尽可能多地想出一些解决措施”,G选项:然后衡量它们的好坏,选出最佳的一个,其中them指代上一句solutions,G项填到此处最合适。故选G。 【40题详解】 上一句“And remember, if you have a tricky problem that you’re unable to solve, then ask a trusted adult for help.(记住,如果你有一个棘手的问题,你无法解决,然后向一个值得信任的成年人寻求帮助)”表示自己实在解决不了,你还可以求助其他人,D选项意为“没有人是被期望要独自解决所有问题的”,与上文意义一致。故填D。 第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节 (共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。 I went to a group activity, “Sensitivity Sunday”, which was to make us more ___41___ the problems faced by disabled people. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A few moments later, the conductor came along and called out, “Next stop-Smithville.” ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】Paragraph 1: Now involved, the man stopped reading and also stared at the window. However, after a while, the boy’s face turned pale, seemingly feeling like sitting on pins and needles. The man noticed that and tried to comfort the boy. He said gently, “Don’t worry. Whatever happens, please remember that there is always light behind the clouds.” After hearing his words, the boy turned his head and looked at him. The man added, “I’m a father, too. Parents are always there and never let go of their children.” The boy nodded, eyes full of hope. Paragraph 2: A few moments later, the conductor came along and called out, “Next stop---Smithville.” The boy could not move. The man, however, looked as hard as he could. And then he saw it! He shouted so loud that all the people in the train turned around. “It’s there! Look! The tree is covered with yellow ribbons! Not just one there’s a whole bunch!” The father had every reason not to put up a yellow ribbon and yet he did.Only a father whose love is real could blanket the tree with yellow ribbons, each one of them proclaiming reconciliation. 词汇激活 行为类 ①停止:stop/cease ②注意到,察觉到:notice/observe ③大喊,大叫:shout/cry/yell 情绪类 ①温柔地:gently/softly/tenderly ②希望,期盼:hope/expection 【点睛】[高分句型1] Whatever happens, please remember that there is always light behind the clouds.(运用了whatever引导让步状语从句和that引导宾语从句) [高分句型2] He shouted so loud that all the people in the train turned around.(运用了that引导结果状语从句) [高分句型3] Only a father whose love is real could blanket the tree with yellow ribbons, each one of them proclaiming reconciliation.(运用了whose引导定语从句和独立主格结构) 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
