All the things in the museum have a history behind them and the 7 stories may or may not be known. So people keep asking questions and talking about them. The journey to the museum was a very great 8 and it actually gave me a whole picture of the history of the city.
Every time we go into a museum, we are often told, “Don’t talk loudly!” “Don’t touch this!” “Don’t touch that!” A special museum — the Please Touch Museum is 9 the opposite. Here we are allowed to 10 everything. I visited it first one year ago. I couldn’t 11 to go there when Mum told us its name. She told us that we could climb, jump and touch everything in the museum.
This place is more like a playground 12 a quiet museum. It gives kids the chance to learn 13 playing. I loved this place so much 14 Mum had to pull me out by the arm when we were ready to leave.
My favourite places in the museum were the large water table and the little supermarket. I had a lot of fun and I did not 15 I was learning, but actually I was. The only problem is this place gets crowded very quickly on weekends, so you need to get there early.

Run for Class President
Two months ago, when our class election (选举) started, I decided to run for class president. I enjoyed speaking 1 and got along well with people, so I felt it easy to win. But I was afraid that people would feel bad for me if I lost.

I also spent three hours writing my speech, saying that I was the one they could turn to whenever they had a problem. Since I was well prepared, I felt that my 4 of winning were strong.
5 , when I gave my speech on Election Day, the response (反应) wasn’t what I had pictured. Few people actually listened. When it was my opponent’s (对手的) turn, everyone was calling out his name. His speech was short, but all to the point. By then, I realized I should have made 6 shorter and clearer.
It was obvious (明显的) who would 7 . For the rest of the day, I felt like it was over. I wanted to just go home and cry, but I made it through. My 8 was right: I didn’t win.
