Who is Jacques Cousteau(雅克-伊夫·库斯托)?
Jacques Cousteau was a famous Fench explorer, ecologist(生态学家), photographer, filmmaker, writer and researcher of oceans and sea life. He is a key inventor in the field of ocean exploration. In 1943, he co-invented Aqua-Lung(水肺) with engineer Émile Gagnan. It is the first truly self-contained underwater breathing device(自给式水下呼吸装置), solving the core problem of "air waste" in traditional diving. It allows divers to rely on their own compressed air(自带的压缩空气) to explore independently deeper and longer under water.
