课时分析
六年级学生已经掌握了比较丰富的英语知识,一般现在时在三四年级已经接触过,本课中只要稍加提示和练习学生就可以灵活运用。因为六年级的学生已经有了一定的单词识读基础,所以单词教学部分也相对轻松,但这一部分要注重对学生的语音教学。本模块的主题是“Animal facts”。它是以学生喜欢的话题“动物习性”为主要教学内容。
外研版小学英语六年级上册第七模块第一单元第一课时,该课时包括Look, listen and say.和Listen, read and act out.Look, listen and say.主要为大家讲述了蛇和狗的一些习性;Listen, read and act out.为大家讲述了Daming的外婆送给他一张关于动物的DVD作为礼物,他们正在一起观看,咱们也一起去看看这张有趣的DVD吧。我们能通过这个DVD能体会到保护动物,爱护动物的必要性,并能通过各个途径去了解其他动物的习性。
课时目标
(1)能识读并运用单词:believe,lucky, bamboo, dangerous, frightened, fantastic。
(2)能灵活运用一般现在时。
(3)学生能够灵活运用本课的功能语句在真实的语境中描述事物。
(4)学生进一步了解动物的生活习性。
(5)让学生懂得保护动物,珍爱生命。

教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Game: guess给学生出示一些描述动物的句子,让学生猜测是哪种动物。
给学生出示snake和panda的图片及相关句式提示,让学生在原有认知上描述两种动物。(这两个练习初涉本课主题动物习性,一方面让学生回忆动物相关知识,另一方有利于导入课文教学)
T: Pandas can climb trees. Do you believe it?
Pandas eat meat. Do you believe it?
利用动物习性引导学生使用believe。引出本课主题 I don’t believe it!
Step 2 Lead in
Daming has got a present from his Grandma. What is it?
通听一遍课文,回答问题。
Step 3 Teaching
T: This DVD is about pandas and snakes. Do you want to know more about pandas?
(借助DVD这一线索完成教学。分段式教学。)
(1)Part1:Watch part1 and answer.
同步学习hour –our(同音), lucky ,bamboo
Repeat and read in roles.(读的练习中注重语音教学)
Talk about pandas. (练习重点句型,并检验重点句型的掌握情况)
让学生参照同步出现的思维导图描述pandas.
(2)part2
Listen and choose T or F.
同步教授 dangerous(含有学生安全的情感教育), frightened.
进行If snakes get frightened, they are dangerous!的情感教育。
Repeat and read in roles.
Talk about snakes.
Step 4 Tasks

引导学生Make a riddle about animals.

Step 5 Homework.
