“Well begun is half done!”。 Carefully,he stepped over all the broken glass. Joyfully he skipped up the street. But no more helicopters came and it was getting dark again. Curious to know what was inside,he tiptoed into the dark cave. Unable to say a word,he was rooted to the spot. Suddenly a little rabbit jumped out in front of my horse. Afraid that I might hurt the lovely small creature,I automatically let out a cry to stop my horse.(情绪形容词+从句) 开端布局思维3:非谓语动词的烘托 【典例赏析】 Looking around him cautiously,he slipped into the room and softly closed the door. Exhausted,he was glad the race was finally over. But no more helicopters came and it was getting dark again.Feeling_disappointed,Jane had to stay alone for another night.(现在分词+情绪形容词) 开端布局思维4:使用从句 【典例赏析】 As he walked,he whistled. Although he was afraid,he jumped right in. At the end of the lane he suddenly stopped. At the sight of the snake, the little girl screamed at the top of her voice. 开端布局思维6:对话或独白 【典例赏析】 “Let's see who gets there first!” Rachel shouted,as she pedaled fast and zoomed past Jenny. “Hold on tight!” My father yelled. We just finished bucking in as the coaster jerked into motion. This was my first roller coaster ride. The car abruptly stopped in front of him.“Get into the car.” Paul shouted at Mac. Mark is a studious boy who loves reading. His classmates often tease him for being too hardworking and they call him Mr.Smart.One afternoon, while studying at home... The moment she saw how she did for her Science test, tears started welling up in Tina's eyes and falling down her cheeks. I closed my eyes to enjoy the gentle breeze and the sounds of the clashing waves.Gently opening my eyes,I saw my parents taking a relaxing stroll along the beach. The cave was dark and everything was silent.I couldn't even see my hand in front of my face.I knew this adventure was going to be something that I would never forget. We drove through several states and saw lots of great sights along the way.I looked out of the car window, winding rivers, lofty mountains, sunny beaches and deep valleys holding me entirely in their fascination.(视觉+环境描写+拟人) 开端布局思维10:人物动作特写 【典例赏析】 Furry started wagging his tail and running around in circles when he saw his master taking a leash out from the drawer.Furry was all ready for his evening walk. The next day we remembered the brand-new tent we had brought with us.Dad exchanged a glance with me.Why not camp to satisfy Mom?(动作描写+问句衔接) 开端布局思维11:声音效果传情 【典例赏析】 BOOM,CRASH!The wind was howling outside of my house. We were having a terrible thunder storm.I was very scared. Have you ever been on a self-driving trip?Let me tell you an exciting trip my family took this summer. Why does trouble always follow me around?Do I have a “kick me” sign on my back or something? fascination.(视觉+环境描写+拟人) (二)故事拓展策略 故事中的高潮(climax)也通常是故事的转折点(turning point),是指故事达到最紧张或扣人心弦的那一部分。 On the fourth or fifth night,we had trouble finding a hotel with a vacancy. After driving in vain for some time,Mom suddenly got a great idea: Why didn't we find a house with a likely-looking backyard and ask if we could set up tent there?David and I became nervous. Then Mac heard quick and loud breathing behind him....he saw instantly that it wasn't a dog at all,but a wolf:quickly catching up with him.Mac's heart jumped....,he fired the spray at the wolf.A bright red cloud enveloped the animal, and to Mac's relief,it fell back, shaking its head. But a minute later,...Then it...,tearing open his tent bag.He fired at the wolf a second time, and again,it fell back...Mac骑车独自行,路遇饿狼,与之搏斗,险象环生。 The car abruptly stopped in front of him.“Get into the car.” Paul shouted at Mac.Mac jumped off the bike and slid into the car without delay as the wolf was just two steps away and was about to tear Mac into pieces. What a narrow escape! But before we jumped off the horses,we found that we had been off the beaten track and got lost.We had no idea where we were and it got dark.Exhausted and hungry,I wondered if we could find our way back. Immediately,an absolute darkness ruled the forest.Jane, exhausted and scared, lay down near a stone, missing her family at a distance. All the fantastic memory crowded in and she couldn't help crying,“Hadn't I quarreled with Tom,walked away and climbed to the high place,I wouldn't be trapped in this awful place, confronted with the danger of dying.” She regretted with endless anxiety, and then became asleep with shining tears in her eyes. Immediately,an absolute darkness ruled the forest(黑暗).Even worse, the temperature suddenly dropped dramatically.(寒冷) It didn't take long for the forest to be enveloped in darkness(黑暗).Her rasping breath steamed(寒冷) in the moonlight and her throat was parched from thirst. 1】 They stood there for a moment, side by side, waiting for the rushing holiday current and for their place in it.Then the daughter glanced over and momentarily regarded her mother. And slowly, almost reluctantly, she placed her arm with apparently unaccustomed affection around her mother's shoulders and gently guided her back into the deluge. 2】 His hard work paid off!Holding the soda tin firmly,Reuben rushed for the shop to buy the brooch. The moment he got the beautiful brooch,he burst through the front door and placed it in Dora's hand.Never had Dora received such a gift.Speechless and happy, she held her son tightly into her arms, with tears welling up in her eyes. 1】 The sky was a billion pure eyes of light and the grass green underfoot,it was as if night and day had become one beautiful moment.Dawn had come. 2】 The lingering sunlight was obliterated by the rapidly falling night, resembling a pitch-black curtain draped over the sky. 1】 Chester said his father told him he had tried to search for him and his brother, but both brothers had changed their last names.“He does remember me and my older brother and he told me that he's been looking for us ever since we lost contact,” he said.Chester said his brother has since flown to Colombia to be reunited with Urrea as well. When asked how the reunion with his father will change his life,Chester said,“I got family everywhere,so it might lead to many more trips now.” 2】 What was most fascinating about the reunion is that Shavi also moves others.Nina's family had moved to a bigger apartment.“I've heard amazing stories about dogs' loyalty, but I never imagined this sort of thing would ever happen to me.Even now,I can hardly believe this dog traveled such a long distance to find us,” said Nina,“I would never give this kind of friend away again.I never grow tired of repeating this—animals are the most devoted and loving creatures. They need our love and care.” 1】 Everyone has one person they look up to as a role model. To me there is none other than my mom.She has beauty, brains, and one of the best hearts I know.Without her in my life,I would have no idea whether I can be a famous dancer.Someday, when I am older and have children of my own,I hope I can be just as great a parent as my mom.(母爱的深远影响) 【典例赏析2】 ...I am extremely unhappy about it.I think money doesn't equal happiness. And free life style also doesn't equal happiness. The real happiness is that everyone loves each other, and does everything useful for our society. Most of my classmates support me.But some of them think money is everything. In my opinion, money can't take the place of everything, such as your life, your time and your happiness.(表达自己的价值观) 结尾完形思维4:留白结尾 【典例赏析1】 While she wrapped them,I took a deep breath and asked Joy,“Do you have dinner plans?” I explained that I'd like to wait a bit before I went back to the hospital-gave Grace and her husband some time alone with baby.“Would you be interested in joining me in a bite to eat?” I asked.“I'd love to,” she replied, her eyes sparkling like diamonds. And,this was the beginning of the end to my months of heartbreak following Betsy's death.(故事结尾留白,给予读者想象空间) 【典例赏析2】 The beggar hesitated for a moment, then he decided to open it.He declared aloud,“Who cares? He wanted me to have it anyway.I might as well enjoy it now.” With that,he unwrapped the white tissue paper, but to his surprise, there was no hard rock candy inside.Instead, into his fingers fell a shiny white pearl worth thousands of dollars. It was summer and my dad wanted to treat me to a vacation like never before. He decided to take me on a trip to the Wild West. Never had I had such a thrilling yet dangerous vacation before. The special trip to the Wild West was deeply engraved in my mind. A funny thing happened to Arthur when he was on the way to work one day. What a funny day.Arthur couldn't stop laughing whenever he looked back on this hilarious(搞笑的)experience. 一、(2025·全国Ⅰ卷) My wife and I wanted to share our new home with family and friends by hosting a small gathering in the early summer. She had prepared lots of snacks, while my job was to have the backyard in order. There was plenty of space for the kids to run and play. There was just one thing I hadn't counted on:My brother chose to bring his dog Toby,a 50-pound ball of fire.Though friendly,he could easily knock over my niece's small boys and my six-month-old granddaughter. So,when my brother showed up,I asked him to watch Toby and keep him outside. My plan was working out just fine.Toby was using up his energy by running back and forth in the backyard and giving the kids plenty of room.Unexpectedly, after supper, the weather changed. It started to rain and everyone went indoors. It was an awkward moment.I didn't want Toby to be running around in the house, and my brother wasn't happy with driving home with a wet dog.Eventually,my brother decided to leave rather than force the issue. A few days passed, and I hadn't heard anything from my brother.I texted him and expressed wishes for him to come out again. His reply came as a surprise—a shock, actually:“Not a chance.” Clearly,he was unhappy over the way we had parted. After all,I had left him little choice.Well,he'll get over it,I reasoned. Two months passed. My wife suggested I get in touch with my brother, but I resisted, thinking he should call first. However,my conscience (良心) kept bothering me.I tried to put myself in my brother's shoes. He was facing health issues and his wife of thirty-five years had passed away a few months earlier.Toby was his constant companion, the one who kept him going. Paragraph 1: I realized it was me who was at fault. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: With the biscuits my wife had made,I arrived at my brother's door. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 【语篇解读】 本文以人物为线索展开,讲述了作者因担心弟弟的狗Toby影响聚会,要求弟弟看好狗,后因天气变化导致弟弟提前离开并心生芥蒂。 Paragraph 1: I realized it was me who was at fault. I had been so focused on keeping the party under control that I failed to consider how important Toby was to my brother during this difficult time.My pride had kept me from reaching out,and now months had passed without a proper conversation. One evening,I picked up the phone and left him a voice message, apologizing for my behavior and asking if we could meet.To my relief,he called back the next day,and we agreed to get together soon. Paragraph 2: With the biscuits my wife had made,I arrived at my brother's door. He opened it with a surprised smile, and for a moment, neither of us spoke. Then we hugged—something we hadn't done since before his wife passed away.We sat on the porch with Toby resting beside us,and I handed him the box of biscuits.“Thank you,” he said quietly. We talked for hours, laughing, remembering old times, and slowly rebuilding what had been lost.As I watched Toby gently rest his head on my brother's leg,I knew we were finally on the path to healing. 3.词汇激活 行为类 (1)道歉:apologize/say sorry/make an apology (2)拥抱:hug/embrace (3)重建:rebuild/restore/reconstruct 情绪类: (1)宽慰:relief/comfort/satisfaction/ease (2)惊讶:surprised /shocked/astonished 【点睛】 [高分句型1]I had been so focused on keeping the party under control that I failed to consider how important Toby was to my brother during this difficult time.(运用了“so...that...”引导结果状语从句以及how引导宾语从句) [高分句型2]One evening,I picked up the phone and left him a voice message, apologizing for my behavior and asking if we could meet.(运用了现在分词短语作状语以及if引导的宾语从句) [高分句型3]As I watched Toby gently rest his head on my brother's leg,I knew we were finally on the path to healing.(运用了as引导时间状语从句以及省略that的宾语从句) 二、(2025·全国高考Ⅱ卷) “What is your name?” is a question most frequently asked when people meet for the first time. But for me,it was the first challenge I encountered as an international student in Ireland. The pronunciation system of the Chinese language is quite different from that of English. For native speakers of English, some Chinese words are rather difficult to pronounce. My given name Qiuyu (秋雨),for instance, happened to be a great challenge for many of them.Every time I gave a self-introduction,I had to explain how to pronounce my name at least five times, yet they still could not say it the way I did. Once in a lecture, the professor tried repeating my name after me over and over in front of thirty classmates.I really did not know whether I should continue correcting him or simply drop the matter.I feared that my classmates might grow tired of my efforts or even lose patience with me.After all,I did care about how others would think of me.I realized that if I didn't stop, the entire lecture would be ruined.“It's okay, professor,” I shrugged (耸肩).The awkward moment ended with the class erupting into laughter.I forced a smile, unsure how to respond further. After that incident,I stopped acting as a “Chinese teacher.” Instead of correcting others when they were struggling to pronounce my name,I just smiled and nodded approvingly. This approach spared me the discomfort of having to over-explain.However,I soon found that by doing so,I might be losing something more important:the opportunity to share a small part of my cultural identity. Paragraph 1: In a class discussion,I was invited to explain the meaning of my name. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: Many of my classmates got interested and came up to me after class. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 【语篇解读】 本文以人物为线索展开,主要讲述了作者作为国际学生在爱尔兰因中文名字发音难而遭遇挑战,之后在一次课堂讨论中分享名字含义,意识到分享文化身份重要性,并借此与同学增进文化理解的故事。 Paragraph 1: In a class discussion,I was invited to explain the meaning of my name. Standing up,I felt a mix of nervousness and excitement.“My name,Qiuyu, combines the characters for autumn and rain in Chinese,” I began,my voice steady.“Autumn represents harvest and maturity, while rain symbolizes nourishment and growth.Together, they embody a time of abundance and renewal.” As I spoke,I noticed the rapt attention of my classmates, their eyes reflecting curiosity and respect. It was a moment of connection,a bridge built between cultures through the simple act of sharing my name. Paragraph 2: Many of my classmates got interested and came up to me after class. They surrounded me,their questions pouring out like a stream.“What other names have beautiful meanings in Chinese?” “Can you teach us how to write our names in Chinese characters?” I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through me.I took out a piece of paper and began to sketch out characters, explaining each stroke and its significance.Through this interaction,I realized that by embracing my cultural identity,I was not only preserving my heritage but also enriching the lives of those around me.It was a small yet meaningful step towards fostering cultural understanding and appreciation. 3.词汇激活 行为类 (1)代表:represent/stand for (2)解释:explain/illustrate (3)保护:preserve/protect 情绪类 (1)紧张:nervousness/tension (2)兴奋:excitement/thrill 【点睛】 [高分句型1]As I spoke,I noticed the rapt attention of my classmates, their eyes reflecting curiosity and respect.(运用了as引导的状语从句以及独立主格结构) [高分句型2]Through this interaction,I realized that by embracing my cultural identity,I was not only preserving my heritage but also enriching the lives of those around me.(运用了that引导的宾语从句和“not only...but also...” His mother was at work, and his father had been away on business. Therefore,he was left in the care of Mrs.Hill,an old lady who lived next door. His parents had raised the 12-year-old to be a good boy.He never got into trouble, though sometimes he wanted to do risky things.Mrs.Hill was asleep.Kevin sighed (叹息) and hoped something exciting would happen.Suddenly,a movement outside caught his eye. Mrs.Hill's front window faced Mr.and Mrs.Green's house across the street. The couple had both gone to work,so it was strange that someone was over there.Kevin stared at the man at their front door.Suddenly, the man jumped through an open window into the house. With his heart in his mouth,Kevin grabbed Mrs.Hill's home phone and called the police. Thinking that the man might get away with whatever he wanted before the police arrived,Kevin decided to do something. He rushed out of Mrs.Hill's house and crossed the street quickly.Grabbing a branch from a cut-down tree,he jumped in through the window.“Stop right there! You must leave right now!” he called out, holding the branch with both hands. The man froze for a second, but when he saw the skinny boy he breathed a sigh of relief.“Hey,kid, put that down.It was my home.My parents used to live here and my father's watch was here,” he explained, trying to lift a floorboard. At that moment, the sounds of a police car echoed (回响) in the air.The man stood up in a panic, then ran through the house toward the window and jumped out.Kevin followed out and told the arriving police officers what had happened. They pursued and arrested the man. Kevin went back to Mrs.Hill's house.Somehow he wasn't sure he had done the right thing.“What if he has told the truth?” he thought to himself. The man's words sounded pretty convincing. Paragraph 1: When Mr.and Mrs.Green got home,Kevin went to talk to them. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: Kevin and Mr.Green took the watch they had found to the police station. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 【语篇解读】 本文人物为线索展开,讲述Kevin在父母不在家时,看到一男子闯入格林夫妇家,他报警并阻止男子,男子被捕后他怀疑自己是否做对。 Paragraph 1: When Mr.and Mrs.Green got home,Kevin went to talk to them. He explained how he had witnessed the strange man entering their house and how he was arrested.Mr.and Mrs.Green listened attentively, with a mixture of surprise and gratitude on their faces.Mrs.Green hugged Kevin, thanking him for his bravery.Mr.Green,however,looked thoughtful. He asked Kevin to describe the man in detail and then revealed that the man was indeed his younger brother, who had come to retrieve a watch their father had left behind.Kevin's eyes widened in shock. Paragraph 2: Kevin and Mr.Green took the watch they had found to the police station. On the way,Mr.Green explained that the watch was a family heirloom, passed down from generation to generation. At the police station, they explained the situation to the officers, who were surprised but understanding. The man,who had been released after his identity was verified, was waiting outside. He smiled weakly at Kevin, who felt a mix of embarrassment and relief.Mr.Green handed over the watch to his brother with a pat on the back, and they all agreed to keep in touch.Kevin learned an important lesson that day:always verify the facts before taking action, but never hesitate to help those in need. 3.词汇激活 行为类 (1)进入:enter/come into (2)拥抱:hug/embrace (3)找回:retrieve/get back (4)核实:verify/confirm 情绪类 (1)吃惊:surprise/astonishment (2)感激:gratitude/appreciation (3)宽慰:relief/comfort 【点睛】 [高分句型1]Mrs.Green hugged Kevin, thanking him for his bravery.(运用了现在分词作状语) [高分句型2]At the police station, they explained the situation to the officers, who were surprised but understanding.(运用了who引导的非限制性定语从句) 四、(2024·新高考Ⅱ卷) I met Gunter on a cold, wet and unforgettable evening in September.I had planned to fly to Vienna and take a bus to Prague for a conference.Due to a big storm,my flight had been delayed by an hour and a half.I touched down in Vienna just 30 minutes before the departure of the last bus to Prague. The moment I got off the plane,I ran like crazy through the airport building and jumped into the first taxi on the rank without a second thought. That was when I met Gunter.I told him where I was going, but he said he hadn't heard of the bus station.I thought my pronunciation was the problem,so I explained again more slowly, but he still looked confused. When I was about to give up,Gunter fished out his little phone and rang up a friend. After a heated discussion that lasted for what seemed like a century,Gunter put his phone down and started the car. Finally, with just two minutes to spare we rolled into the bus station.Thankfully, there was a long queue(队列)still waiting to board the bus.Gunter parked the taxi behind the bus, turned around, and looked at me with a big smile on his face.“We made it,” he said. Just then I realised that I had zero cash in my wallet.I flashed him an apologetic smile as I pulled out my Portuguese bankcard. He tried it several times, but the card machine just did not play along.A feeling of helplessness washed over me as I saw the bus queue thinning out. At this moment,Gunter pointed towards the waiting hall of the bus station. There,at the entrance, was a cash machine.I jumped out of the car, made a mad run for the machine, and popped my card in,only to read the message:“Out of order.Sorry.” Paragraph 1: I ran back to Gunter and told him the bad news. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: Four days later, when I was back in Vienna,I called Gunter as promised. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 【参考范文】 I ran back to Gunter and told him the bad news.He looked at me in disbelief, asking me what to do.Flashing him another apologetic smile,I begged him for a delayed payment.“If I miss this last bus to Prague,I'll be late for the conference which is so important that I can't afford to miss it!” I explained.“May I have your phone number? I will call you and return the money I owe you.I promise I will keep my word or you keep my watch!” I added, handing him my watch as well as my business card.Gunter accepted my business card but rejected my watch. He wrote down his phone number and gave it to me.“Just keep your promise,Sir.” A feeling of gratitude washed over me as I heard his words.Giving him a firm handshake,I jumped out of the car, made a mad run for the bus,and jumped onto it just before its departure. Four days later, when I was back in Vienna,I called Gunter as promised. He picked me up at the bus station where he had dropped me off four days before.Beaming a warm smile at him,I gave him a big hug the moment I saw him.We chatted happily on the way to the airport.I told him that thanks to his generosity and timely help, everything had gone smoothly. When he stopped his taxi outside the airport,I paid him for the “double car ride”,back and forth from the airport to the bus station, together with a generous tip that he turned down.I also gave him an attractive souvenir I had bought at Prague, which he accepted with delight. We became good friends and kept in touch with each other regularly.I felt blessed to have such a warm-hearted friend like Gunter. 五、(2023·新高考Ⅰ卷) When I was in middle school,my social studies teacher asked me to enter a writing contest.I said no without thinking.I did not love writing. My family came from Brazil,so English was only my second language.Writing was so difficult and painful for me that my teacher had allowed me to present my paper on the sinking of the Titanic by acting out a play, where I played all the parts. No one laughed harder than he did. So,why did he suddenly force me to do something at which I was sure to fail? His reply:“Because I love your stories. If you're willing to apply yourself,I think you have a good shot at this.” Encouraged by his words,I agreed to give it a try. I chose Paul Revere's horse as my subject.Paul Revere was a silversmith(银匠)in Boston who rode a horse at night on April 18,1775 to Lexington to warn people that British soldiers were coming. My story would come straight from the horse's mouth. Not a brilliant idea, but funny; and unlikely to be anyone else's choice. What did the horse think,as he sped through the night?Did he get tired?Have doubts?Did he want to quit?I sympathized immediately.I got tired.I had doubts.I wanted to quit. But,like Revere's horse,I kept going.I worked hard.I checked my spelling.I asked my older sister to correct my grammar.I checked out a half dozen books on Paul Revere from the library.I even read a few of them. When I handed in the essay to my teacher,he read it,laughed out loud, and said,“Great. Now,write it again.” I wrote it again, and again and again. When I finally finished it,the thought of winning had given way to the enjoyment of writing. If I didn't win,I wouldn't care. Paragraph 1: A few weeks later, when I almost forgot the contest, there came the news. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: I went to my teacher's office after the award presentation. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 【语篇解读】 本文以人物为线索展开,讲述了作者上中学的时候,社会学老师邀请作者参加一个写作比赛。 Paragraph 1: A few weeks later, when I almost forgot the contest, there came the news. I was informed that I won the first prize in the writing contest and that there would be an award presentation in two days.I was so happy to hear the news that I immediately shared it with my teacher.“I knew you'd win! I am proud of you.You made it!” He said excitedly. Then came the big day. When I was invited to the stage to receive the award,I expressed my thanks to my teacher.I said,“It's you who make me fall in love with writing,my social studies teacher.Without your recognition and guidance,I couldn't have written this article.Again thank you very much!” Paragraph 2: I went to my teacher's office after the award presentation. My teacher was waiting for me.Holding my hands,he said “Congratulations! You are a good writer,so keep writing.” “You know I didn't like writing before, but now I am crazy about it! I will try my best to create good works.” I said seriously.Since then,I have written many good works and now I am a famous writer.I owe my success to my social teacher who is a beacon in my life on the road to writing. 词汇激活 行为类 (1)告知:inform/tell (2)成功做到:make it/succeed (3)表达:express/convey 情绪类 (1)高兴的:happy/glad (2)激动地:excitedly/with excitement 【点睛】 [高分句型1]I was informed that I won the first prize in the writing contest and that there would be an award presentation in two days.(运用了由连接词that引导的宾语从句) [高分句型2]It's you who make me fall in love with writing,my social studies teacher.(运用了强调句) [高分句型3]I owe my success to my social teacher who is a beacon in my life on the road to writing.(运用了who引导的限制性定语从句) 六、(2022·新高考Ⅰ卷) It was the day of the big cross-country run.Students from seven different primary schools in and around the small town were warming up and walking the route(路线)through thick evergreen forest. I looked around and finally spotted David, who was standing by himself off to the side by a fence. He was small for ten years old.His usual big toothy smile was absent today.I walked over and asked him why he wasn't with the other children. He hesitated and then said he had decided not to run. What was wrong? He had worked so hard for this event! I quickly searched the crowd for the school's coach and asked him what had happened.“I was afraid that kids from other schools would laugh at him,” he explained uncomfortably.“I gave him the choice to run or not,and let him decide.” I bit back my frustration(懊恼).I knew the coach meant well—he thought he was doing the right thing. After making sure that David could run if he wanted,I turned to find him coming towards me,his small body rocking from side to side as he swung his feet forward. David had a brain disease which prevented him from walking or running like other children, but at school his classmates thought of him as a regular kid.He always participated to the best of his ability in whatever they were doing. That was why none of the children thought it unusual that David had decided to join the cross-country team.It just took him longer—that's all.David had not missed a single practice, and although he always finished his run long after the other children,he did always finish. As a special education teacher at the school,I was familiar with the challenges David faced and was proud of his strong determination. Paragraph 1: We sat down next to each other, but David wouldn't look at me. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: I watched as David moved up to the starting line with the other runners. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 【主题语境】 人与自我——学校生活/积极的生活态度/生命的意义与价值 【语篇类型】 记叙文(写人记事) 【话题选择】 残疾学生参加赛跑 【语篇解读】 作者是一名特殊教育教师,在大型越野赛跑那天,发现患有大脑疾病的大卫独自站在一旁。 【语篇视角】 第一人称视角——特殊学校的教师 【叙事进程】 叙述事实/现象/问题——分析事件背后原因——寻求解决方法——呈现解决的效果 【情感发展】 (1)由往常表现反观当前异常行为:如“His usual big toothy smile was absent today.”,“He hesitated and then said he had decided not to run.”(2)因心感懊恼而开启解决之路:如“I bit back my frustration(懊恼).”,“After making sure that David could run if he wanted,I turned to...”(3)用教师的同理心去理解帮助孩子:如“As a special education teacher at the school,I was familiar with the challenges David faced and was proud of his strong determination.” Paragraph 1: We sat down next to each other, but David wouldn't look at me.Gently and quietly,I said to him:“No one can change you except yourself. If you long to challenge yourself, there is nothing to do with others' thoughts.” He sat still with a deep breath, and slowly raised his head.I touched his hair, adding,“You have prepared so hard before this event. Why? Because you want to show up here. And you have the ability as well”.Hearing my words,David turned to me,tears spilling out of his eyes, and expressed he had made a firm determination to finish the cross-country run.His coach heard what David said and gave him a determined look.“Come on,son! What are you waiting for?”He said with a loud voice. Paragraph 2: I watched as David moved up to the starting line with the other runners. The race started. It seemed that it was an extremely long way for young children, not to mention a child with a brain disease.David persisted in running as if he had forgotten all his weaknesses, though he was tripped over within the a few kilometers and fell behind other children. But it didn't take long before he picked himself up again and continued running.Classmates all appeared on the racing track, cheering for him.“Come on! You can make it! We are proud of you,David!” they shouted enthusiastically. To everyone's delight,he reached the final line and ranked the 30th.However,whether he won the first place or not was not important at all.It was his brave heart and strong determination that counted, which could make something unusual happen finally. 七、(2022·6月浙江卷改编) I need to do something in my community in order to complete the community service hours required to graduate from high school. Some of my friends had sighed up to spend time at a soup kitchen,so I did, too. It seemed like a good thing to do. I thought that we would just be passing out dinners to those in need, but I found out we would be doing everything-mix the salad dressing and assign vegetable and meat. As the line of people came toward me,I got a little scared.I'd come face to face with the homeless. How should I act?How would they treat me?Would they hate me for having more than they did? While some of the people looked very friendly, some of them looked so dangerous.I didn't have too much time to worry about it.I was assigned(分配)to serve the salad with the lady next to me.She smiled at me and said if I needed help, she'd be right there, which I found quite comforting. I had never seen so many people wanting food. They were of all ages and nationalities. Most of them wore clothes that were torn and dirty. Some looked like they had totally given up on life, while others seemed to be making the best of the situation, smiling and joking. Some were better off than others, but they all needed a good meal to eat and a warm place to live in.It saddened me to think of how many people there were who didn't have a place to call home and the only food they got came from a soup kitchen. Paragraph 1: When they came in my direction,I tried to show them the prettiest and happiest smile. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: I was happy to finish my serving time in this way.In this both-side beneficial way. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 【参考范文】 Paragraph 1: When they came in my direction,I tried to show them the prettiest and happiest smile. Although I still felt a little scared of these dangerous people,I knew the burden on their shoulder—without a place called home, without a proper meal.So I truly hoped my smile could be some of the comfort. But hardly could I imagine that serving the salad could become so challenging and tough when facing a number of guests. They were almost like bees, coming one by one, never stopping! My smile froze gradually as one after another worn-out clothes were coming and pouring—now I was too busy to see their faces!Mixing the salad dressing and assigning one by one,I was almost like a cat on hot bricks,my hands racing.Fortunately, the helpful lady came to assist me,who took some loads off my shoulder. With her assistance,I finished my serving time smoothly. Paragraph 2: I was happy to finish my serving time in this way.In this both-side beneficial way.I successfully catered to the need of the poor.Reflecting the whole experience throughout the evening with my friends,we found we enjoyed ourselves a lot by helping those in need. And I came to the realization that the poor held the same heart of kindness just like us.They were also friendly.Although they might look dangerous sometimes, they still left saying a “thank you” when taking the food, which was so comforting to us all.I also said a ”thank you”to the lady who helped me out,for I knew it was the kindness we shared together, not only for graduating but also for warming each other, bonded us closer together. 八、(2022·1月浙江卷改编) When Dr.Henderson was assigning(指定)project mates for his psychology class,I secretly hoped he would pair me with my best friend or at least a classmate I could have some fun with.Above all,I hoped he wouldn't assign me to work with the fiercely competitive, extremely serious fellow who always wore dark clothes and apparently had a personality to match. As fate(命运)would have it,Dr.Henderson very deliberately matched everyone in class and announced that I would be working with the one person in class I wanted to avoid. I went up to my new teammate and introduced myself. He looked at me as though I weren't there.I felt he treated me as though I would hold him back and probably make him fail to get an A in the course. He wasn't mean or abusive;he just gave me the impression he could do whatever project we dreamed up better if he did it alone. Needless to say,I didn't look forward to an entire term of being brushed off,but I tried to make the best of it and didn't say anything for fear that I would make things worse. The project required each team to develop a hypothesis(假说),set up an experiment to test the hypothesis,do the statistical analysis and present the findings.Whatever grade the team received would be shared by both students. When my teammate and I met to discuss our project,I was uneasy. Here was this challenging student who had a reputation for single-mindedness and good grades—the exact opposite of me.I was outmatched.I actually wanted to drop the class at one point, but stopped short because I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of my chickening out.I decided to stick to it no matter what. After long discussions we somehow agreed to do a study on the psychological well-being of teenagers.I wasn't sure what it meant exactly, but at least we had a topic. Paragraph 1: We started to meet regularly to draw up our plans. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: One day I got word that he was admitted to hospital for a serious disease. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 【参考范文】 Paragraph 1: We started to meet regularly to draw up our plans. Companion as I was in the project,I still had no sense of participating in the project. My teammate kept his brain occupied in developing the hypothesis, setting up an experiment to test it,and running the tests alone, leaving me just standing beside him as if I were a fool.“What a dull project it is!” I murmured to myself. However, something changed gradually,as I became aware what the tactile-kinesthetic perception of space meant. Thanks to the intense, fiercely competitive, singularly serious fellow, the whole procedure went smoothly, close to the final stage. Paragraph 2: One day I got word that he was admitted to hospital for a serious disease. Without any delay,I packed up my school bag, took all the experiment statistics and rushed to the hospital.Seeing the pale fellow wearing pure white clothes instead of the annoying dark clothes,I felt a sense of sympathy and mercy welling up in my heart. With his guidance,I finished the statistical presented the findings. It turned out to be such an amazing and persuasive study that my teammate and I did win the best grade. Now,we have been most reliable cooperative partners ever since! It was true that everyone had his potential to be better, both in academy and personality when fueling passion for them. 九、(2021·新高考Ⅰ卷) A MOTHER'S DAY SURPRISE The twins were filled with excitement as they thought of the surprise they were planning for Mother's Day.How pleased and proud Mother would be when they brought her breakfast in bed. They planned to make French toast and chicken porridge. They had watched their mother in the kitchen. There was nothing to it.Jenna and Jeff knew exactly what to do. I didn't really understand his world either:He was a livestock trucker, and I thought that I would surpass(超过)anything he had accomplished by the time I walked across the stage at high school graduation. Summers in the mid-70s were spent at home shooting baskets, hitting a baseball,or throwing a football, preparing for my future as a quarterback on a football team.In poor weather,I read about sports or practiced my trombone(长号). The summer before my eighth grade I was one of a group of boys that a neighboring farmer hired to work in his field. He explained our basic task, the tractor fired up and we were off, riding down the field looking for weeds to spray with chemicals. After a short way,the farmer stopped and pointed at a weed which we missed. Then we began again. This happened over and over, but we soon learned to identify different grasses like cockleburs,lamb's-quarters,foxtails,and the king of weeds, the pretty purple thistle. It was tiring work, but I looked forward to the pay, even though I wasn't sure how much it would amount to. At home,my dad said,“A job's a big step to growing up.I'm glad you will be contributing to the household.”My dad's words made me realize that my earnings might not be mine to do with as I wished. My labors lasted about two weeks, and the farmer said there might be more work, but I wasn't interested.I decided it was not fair that I had to contribute my money. Paragraph 1: The pay arrived at last. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: I understood immediately what my parents were worried about. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 【参考范文】 Paragraph 1: The pay arrived at last.Although the job was very tiring,I was very happy in my heart for I got something from my work. The toil of labor was forgotten for the time being.I thought I should have my own money and planned how to spend it.“How much money have you earned?” Dad asked.I was surprised, reluctant to say my income. The next morning,my dad's livestock truck started running.I saw my father's hard-working figure and thought of his words “A job's a big step to growing up”. Paragraph 2: I understood immediately what my parents were worried about. They were worried that I was too selfish to give.I realized that my labor was very hard, but my growth and our whole family had been depending on the hard work of my parents! Dad never complained about unfairness! He even seemed to think that was fair.I thought,“I've only worked for two weeks, but how many years my father has worked!” In the evening,Dad came back.I proudly took out my own money and handed it to Dad.
