I had always lived in the city, and the idea of spending two months in a place where life moved at a slower pace was both exciting and intimidating. Little did I know, this experience would change my perspective on life and help me grow in ways I never expected. The community center served as a hub (中心) for local activities, offering after-school programs for children, English classes for adults, and support for elderly residents. My main role was to assist with the children’s programs. Every morning, I helped organize games, art projects, and reading sessions. At first, I struggled to connect with the kids. Many of them were shy, and I felt unsure of how to engage them. But over time, I learned to be patient and creative. I started using storytelling and hands-on activities to capture their attention, and soon, the classroom was filled with laughter and enthusiasm. One of the most memorable moments was when a young girl named Lily, who had barely spoken a word during the first week, finally opened up. She shared her dream of becoming a teacher and even helped me lead a reading session. Seeing her confidence grow was incredibly rewarding and reminded me of the impact small actions can have. By the end of the summer, I had not only developed new skills but also gained a deeper understanding of myself. I learned to adapt to unfamiliar situations, communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds, and appreciate the simple joys of life. This experience inspired me to continue volunteering and to approach challenges with a more open mind. 24 What was the author’s primary role at the community center? A. Teaching English to adults. B. B. He became more patient and creative. C. He organized daily games and art projects. D. He employed storytelling and practical activities. 26. How did the author feel about Lily’s progress? A. Excited. B. Pleased. C. Fulfilled. D. Relaxed. 27. What can we learn about the author’s personal growth from the last paragraph? A. Gained self-awareness and adaptability. B. Developed a focus on technical expertise. C. Strengthened commitment to community service. D. Prioritized academic achievements over experiences. B 25. D 26. C 27. 根据第二段中“My main role was to assist with the children’s programs. (我的主要职责是协助开展儿童项目。)”可知,作者在社区中心的主要角色是协助儿童项目。故选B项。 【25题详解】 细节理解题。根据第二段中“But over time, I learned to be patient and creative. I started using storytelling and hands on activities to capture their attention (但随着时间的推移,我学会了要有耐心和创造力。我开始用讲故事和实践活动来吸引他们的注意力)”可知,作者通过采用讲故事和实践活动的方式来与孩子们建立联系。故选D项。 【26题详解】 细节理解题。根据第三段中“Seeing her confidence grow was incredibly rewarding and reminded me of the impact small actions can have. (看到她信心不断增长,我感到无比有成就感,也让我想起了微小的行动所能产生的影响。)”可知,作者对Lily的进步感到有成就感(fulfilled)。故选C项。 【27题详解】 细节理解题。根据最后一段中“By the end of the summer, I had not only developed new skills but also gained a deeper understanding of myself. I learned to adapt to unfamiliar situations (到夏天结束时,我不仅发展了新技能,还对自己有了更深刻的认识。我学会了适应陌生的环境)”可知,作者获得了自我认知和适应能力。故选A项。 C Labubu dolls are hard to find. Even at the giant flagship store of their maker, Pop Mart, in Shanghai, customers are told they need to wait a week or longer. The lovely creatures, sold in “blind boxes” so that buyers don’t know which one they will get, are loved not only by Chinese children but also by famous people at home and abroad. For many years, Chinese shoppers liked to follow foreign trends in fashion, make-up, hotels and other areas. But now, they are turning to local luxury brands (奢侈品品牌), high-end make-up labels and milk tea shops. Furthermore, many of these brands are winning fans in other countries. Chinese brands are beginning to penetrate international markets with their unique products. As consumers have become more careful about spending, cheap but good-quality local brands have grown popular. But lower prices are not the only reason for the love of Chinese brands. In many cases shoppers are paying the same or even more for local products. For instance, the best-selling drinks at Chagee, a tea chain (连锁) that went public in New York in April, are tea lattes (拿铁) that sell for 15-20 yuan ($2-3), almost the same as Starbucks’s top drinks in China. Chinese consumers are also now far less crazy about foreign goods simply because they are foreign. The rapid rise of Laopu proves that. Instead of copying Western style, both Laopu and Chagee have shown off their Chineseness. It has worked. The competition is not limited to China. Pop Mart now has stores in more than 20 countries, including at least 37 in America. Chagee will have more than 1,300 shops outside China by the end of the year, up from almost none four years ago. Experts believe that the more foreign recognition these brands get, the more popular they become within China. The popularity on Western social media over Labubu dolls is thought to have made them even more famous at home. 28. What’s the purpose of the first paragraph? A. To introduce the topic. B. To present an argument. C. To offer a solution. D. To give an opinion. 29. What does the underlined word “penetrate” in paragraph 2 most likely mean? A. Avoid. B. Enter. C. Ignore. D. Destroy. 30. What does the example of Chagee’s tea lattes show? A. Price matters most to consumers. B. Cheap local brands are popular in China. C. Some local brands achieve high pricing. D. Chinese tea chains outperform foreign ones. 31. Which of the following is the best title for the text? A. Pop Mart: A Symbol of Chinese Toys B. Why Milk Tea Brands Are Popular in China C. From Foreign Trends to Local Love: Chinese Brands Shine D. The History of Chinese Luxury Brands 【答案】28. A 29. B 30. C 31. 根据第一段“Labubu dolls are hard to find. Even at the giant flagship store of their maker, Pop Mart, in Shanghai, customers are told they need to wait a week or longer. The lovely creatures, sold in “blind boxes” so that buyers don’t know which one they will get, are loved not only by Chinese children but also by famous people at home and abroad.(拉布布娃娃很难找到。即使在制造商Pop Mart位于上海的大型旗舰店,顾客也被告知需要等待一周或更长时间。这些可爱的动物被装在“盲盒”里出售,买家不知道他们会得到哪个,它们不仅受到中国孩子的喜爱,也受到国内外名人的喜爱)”并结合下文对中国消费者由对外国产品的喜爱转为青睐本土产品现象的介绍推知,本段的作用是引出文章话题。故选A。 根据第二段中“Chinese brands are beginning to penetrate  international markets with their unique products.(中国品牌正开始以其独特的产品penetrate国际市场)”中的“with their unique products(以它们独特的产品)”可知,此处是指中国品牌以其独特的产品打入国际市场。 根据第三段中“ In many cases shoppers are paying the same or even more for local products. For instance, the best-selling drinks at Chagee, a tea chain (连锁) that went public in New York in April, are tea lattes (拿铁) that sell for 15-20 yuan ($2-3), almost the same as Starbucks’s top drinks in China.(在许多情况下,消费者为当地产品支付相同甚至更高的价格。例如,今年4月在纽约上市的茶连锁店Chagee最畅销的饮料是茶拿铁,售价15-20元(2—3美元),几乎与星巴克在中国的顶级饮料相同)”推知,Chagee的茶拿铁的例子表明一些本土品牌实现了高价。故选C。 【31题详解】 主旨大意题。通读全文,并结合第二段“For many years, Chinese shoppers liked to follow foreign trends in fashion, make-up, hotels and other areas. But now, they are turning to local luxury brands (奢侈品品牌), high-end make-up labels and milk tea shops. Furthermore, many of these brands are winning fans in other countries. Chinese brands are beginning to  penetrate  international markets with their unique products.(多年来,中国消费者喜欢在时尚、化妆品、酒店和其他领域追随外国潮流。 C。 D If you think shopping online is more eco-friendly than driving to a store, think again. It may sound strange, but the more eco-friendly way to shop is going to a physical store rather than by making purchases online from companies that don’t have physical stores, according to a new report in Environmental Science & Technology, a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the American Chemical Society. In the study, researchers estimated that shopping at physical stores for frequently bought items such as toilet paper, shampoo and toothpaste, often results in less greenhouse gas emissions (排放) than ordering the products from a company that only sells through the Internet. The main reason is because of how people shop online: Many buy items online frequently — but they only buy a few items per purchase. “When they shop in a store, they aggregate these items in a single large purchase,” noted Sadegh Shahmohammadi, one of six researchers who worked on the year-and-a-half long study. “Frequent online purchases produce more packaging waste, and online items tend to come from different distribution (配送) centers. Both factors result in higher greenhouse gas emissions per item,” said Shahmohammadi. The team modeled their research on the movement of goods from the factory all the way through to the end consumer. They then specifically focused on the part of the retail supply chain (零售供应链) called “the last mile” delivery: the distance between a store to a customer, or in the case of online shopping, the distance between the distribution center for the goods to the customer. The analysis showed that total greenhouse gas footprints per item purchased were higher from physical stores than those from bricks & clicks (when people order online and a physical store delivers the items to them) purchases in 63% of the shopping events but lower than those of pure players (strictly online sellers) in 81% of shopping events. 32. What’s the author’s purpose in mentioning the new report? A. To recommend a strange shopping habit. B. To introduce a respected scientific journal. C. To analyze online shopping. D. To prove the advantage of offline shopping. 33. What does the underlined word “aggregate” in paragraph 4 mean? A. Combine. B. Produce. C. Divide. D. Check. 34. What can we learn about “the last mile” delivery? A. It is designed by the research team. B. It is managed by the factories. C It causes high greenhouse gas emissions. D. It influences the total greenhouse gas footprints. 35. According to the analysis, which is probably the most eco-friendly way to shop? A. Buying at physical stores. B. Buying from bricks & clicks. C. Buying from pure players. D. Buying a few items per time. D 33. A 34. D 35. 根据第二段“It may sound strange, but the more eco-friendly way to shop is going to a physical store rather than by making purchases online from companies that don’t have physical stores, according to a new report in Environmental Science & Technology, a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the American Chemical Society. (听起来可能很奇怪,但根据美国化学学会出版的同行评审科学期刊《环境科学与技术》上的一份新报告,更环保的购物方式是去实体店,而不是从没有实体店的公司网上购买)”可推知,作者提到这份新报告是为了证明线下购物的优势。故选D。 【33题详解】 词句猜测题。根据第四段中“Many buy items online frequently — but they only buy a few items per purchase. “When they shop in a store, they aggregate these items in a single large purchase,” noted Sadegh Shahmohammadi, one of six researchers who worked on the year-and-a-half long study.(许多人经常在网上购物,但每次只购买几件商品。“当他们在实体店购物时,会把这些商品aggregate成一次大型采购,”参与这项为期一年半研究的六名研究人员之一Sadegh Shahmohammadi指出。)”可知,人们在实体店购物时会将商品组合在一次大型购买中,所以aggregate意为“合并”。故选A。 根据第六段中“They then specifically focused on the part of the retail supply chain (零售供应链) called “the last mile” delivery: the distance between a store to a customer, or in the case of online shopping, the distance between the distribution center for the goods to the customer. (然后,他们特别关注了零售供应链中被称为“最后一英里”配送的部分:商店到顾客的距离,或者在网上购物的情况下,商品配送中心到顾客的距离)”以及最后一段中“The analysis showed that total greenhouse gas footprints per item purchased were higher from physical stores than those from bricks & clicks (when people order online and a physical store delivers the items to them) purchases in 63% of the shopping events but lower than those of pure players (strictly online sellers) in 81% of shopping events. 根据最后一段中“The analysis showed that total greenhouse gas footprints per item purchased were higher from physical stores than those from bricks & clicks (when people order online and a physical store delivers the items to them) purchases in 63% of the shopping events but lower than those of pure players (strictly online sellers) in 81% of shopping events. Why Change Is Good for You We all know that change is hard because people like to do the same things every day. ____36____. Here are four reasons: ____37____. Change lets you try exciting things. When you think about your life, the best memories come from new experiences. The night before the big day, I carefully packed my backpack with the essentials: pens, erasers, my ID card, and my exam admission ticket. My parents wished me good luck and reminded me to go to sleep early. Feeling confident, I went to bed to make sure I would be well-rested. The next morning, I woke up feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. After breakfast, I grabbed my backpack and headed to the bus stop. As I boarded the bus, I suddenly remembered that I had forgotten to pack my pencils, which were necessary for filling out the answer sheet. Panic set in. There was no time to go back home and fetch them, and the nearest store was too far away. Desperate, I looked around the bus, hoping to spot a fellow student who might have a spare pencil. My eyes landed on a girl about my age, sitting a few seats ahead, lost in her notes. Gathering my courage, I approached her and explained my dilemma (困境), hoping she might be able to help. To my surprise, she didn’t hesitate. She opened her pencil case and pulled out a couple of pencils, handing them to me with a reassuring smile. “I always carry extra ones, just in case,” she said. “You can take these.” Relief washed over me as I accepted the pencils, thanking her sincerely. We chatted for a bit, and I learned that her name was Mei, and that she was also heading to the same exam center. She wished me luck, and we parted ways once we arrived. With the pencils in hand, I felt a renewed sense of confidence as I entered the exam hall. The exam went smoothly, and I felt I had done my best. After the exam, I searched for Mei to return her pencils. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Inspired by Mei’s kindness, I decided to pass it on. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】 参考范文: After the exam, I searched for Mei to return her pencils. I wandered through the bustling crowd of students, scanning faces and hoping to spot her. Finally, I saw her near the entrance, chatting with some friends. I approached her and handed back the pencils, expressing my heartfelt gratitude once again. Mei smiled warmly and shook her head. “There‘s no need to thank me,” she said. “Helping someone in need is something we all should do. Just remember to pass on the kindness whenever you can.” Inspired by Mei’s kindness, I decided to pass it on. A few weeks later, I noticed a classmate, Li, struggling with his homework in the library. Remembering Mei’s words, I sat down with Li and patiently explained the concepts he was struggling with. His face lit up with relief and gratitude, just as I did when Mei helped me. Helping him not only lifted his spirits but also brightened my day. From that moment on, I realized that at any time I could help someone, whether it was sharing my notes, offering a kind word, or simply lending an ear. 词汇激活 行为类 ①发现:spot/notice ②靠近:approach/draw near ③帮助某人:help sb./do sb. a favor 情绪类 ①感谢:gratitude/thankfulness ②善意:kindness/goodwill 【点睛】【高分句型1】Remembering Mei’s words, I sat down with Li and patiently explained the concepts he was struggling with.(运用了省略that引导的定语从句) 【高分句型2】From that moment on, I realized that at any time I could help someone, whether it was sharing my notes, offering a kind word, or simply lending an ear.(运用了that引导的宾语从句,whether引导的状语从句) 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 大庆中学2025—2026学年度上学期月考 高二年级英语试题 考试时间:120分钟;试卷总分:150分 第一部分 听力(共两节,满分30分) 做题时,先将答案标在试卷上。 Where are the speakers? B Last summer, I decided to volunteer at a community center in a small rural town. B. Helping with children’s programs. C. Supporting for elderly residents. D. Offering after-school programs for children. 25. What did the author do to connect with the children? A. He gave them gifts. B. The History of Chinese Luxury Brands D If you think shopping online is more eco-friendly than driving to a store, think again. C. It causes high greenhouse gas emissions. D. It influences the total greenhouse gas footprints. 35. According to the analysis, which is probably the most eco-friendly way to shop? A. Buying at physical stores. B. Buying from bricks & clicks. C. Buying from pure players. D. Buying a few items per time. Why Change Is Good for You We all know that change is hard because people like to do the same things every day. ____36____. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $第一节听下面5段对话。 I have already tried to attract the attention of the waiter several times.
