I still remember the day I almost lost my best friend Anna.
It was a sunny afternoon in June, and we were having a picnic at the park. We had been friends since childhood, and we shared everything: our hobbies, our dreams, our secrets. We were inseparable.
But that day, something changed. We got into a heated argument over a trivial(不重要的)matter. I don’t even remember what it was about, but I know it was something silly and unimportant. Maybe it was about who ate the last sandwich. It doesn’t matter now.
What matters is that we both said things we didn’t mean. We both raised our voices and hurt each other’s feelings. We both acted stubbornly and refused to apologize. We both stormed off in different directions, leaving behind our picnic basket and our friendship.
I spent the rest of the day alone in my room. I tried to distract myself with music, but nothing could fill the emptiness in my heart. I wanted to talk to Anna and I wanted to say I was sorry. But I didn’t know how to do that. I didn’t know if she would forgive me, or if she even wanted to see me again.
The next day, I went to school with a heavy heart. I avoided eye contact with Anna, and sat as far away from her as possible. I pretended that I didn’t care, but I did. I cared a lot.
During the break, I saw her sitting on a bench, looking lonely and sad. She was holding a piece of paper in her hand, and tears were rolling down her face. I felt a wave of regret. I wanted to go to her. But I didn’t have the courage.
I turned around and walked away. I thought that was the end of our friendship, and that we would never speak to each other again.
But I was wrong

二、续写
Paragraph 1: As I was walking back to class, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I turned around slowly, my heart beating fast. To my surprise, it was Anna! Her eyes were still a little red from crying, but there was no anger in them, only a trace of hesitation. “I... I have something to say,” she stammered, holding out the piece of paper in her hand. I took it gently and unfolded it. It was a drawing of two girls holding hands, with a note on it: “I’m sorry for what I said yesterday. I don’t want to lose you.” My eyes suddenly got wet, and I choked out, “I’m sorry too, Anna. I was so stubborn.”
Paragraph 2: Anna and I both smiled and cried.
We hugged each other tightly, as if we were afraid to let go. All the unhappiness and misunderstanding between us melted away in that hug. “Let’s go get our picnic basket after school, okay?” Anna said with a smile through her tears. I nodded vigorously, “And we can make a new sandwich to replace the last one!” We walked back to class side by side, just like before. At that moment, I knew our friendship was not over; it was even stronger than before. I promised myself that I would never let a trivial matter hurt my best friend again.
