一、体裁多为记叙文,且首句不设空
纵观近年天津中考英语完形填空所选的短
文,大多是记叙文,或写人或记事,兼有少许议论
的句子。文章通常故事情节曲折、线索清晰、结
构完整、趣味性较强并有一定的教育意义。
记叙文型完形填空可分为记事和记人两种
形式。在记事性记叙文的完形填空中,完形填空
开篇第一句通常不设空,都是一个完整的句子,
这类句子大都包含全文的主要人物、与事件有关
的时间、地点、背景等,它是文章的一个关键句。
考生可以通过它大致了解或推测出全文的概貌,
从而进一步速读全文,弄清体裁、背景内容、结
构、情节的发展及前因后果等。

记叙文在天津中考中占了很大的比例。这
些记叙文有人物故事、校园故事、生活故事等,作
者切入的角度也是各有不同,涉及社会、家庭、学
校、文化、健康、当今社会科学的最新发展等各方
面。作为每年天津中考的一个主打体裁,命题人
在记叙文选材上是费尽心血,但总体来讲它一般
有以下两个特点:
(1)情节曲折,信息量大,结尾往往出人意料。
近年天津中考完形填空往往在情节上有较
大的曲折变化,并且结果出人意料,在文章的写
作风格上作者不再是单纯地去叙述某个人、某件
事,而是在叙述过程中把对人物的语言、行为、心
理活动的描写也都融入文章的叙述中来,这无疑
就增加了考生理解的难度。因此对手考生来说,
应理清故事发展的脉络,根据人物的语言、行为
及心理活动等去了解作者的写作意图,对故事的
发展和结局作出合理的想象和预测。
(2)文章内容多为中学生所关注和熟悉的话题,
有亲切感,能引起学生的共鸣。
近几年天津中考完形填空中有很多是学生
平时在生活中接触比较多的话题,因此对于学生
来说容易接受,没有陌生感。写作手法上也不是
单纯地采用一般的叙述方式,而会有一些其他
方式。
二、突出语篇,注重语言运用
天津中考完形填空题均以文章的语境理解
为主,注重考查学生语言运用的综合能力,因此
吃透短文的大意是正确答题的基础。从完形填
空每个题目的设计来看,属于句子层次(即只需
一冲天
读懂设空所在的句子便可找到答案)的考查所占
比例较小,而通过上下文来考虑的一般占60%以
上,其中需从全文角度考虑的要占30%以上,充
分体现了中考突出语篇的命题思路。针对这种
命题趋势,学生在做题时要有全局观,即必须始
终注意联系上下文。
三、词语辨析,以实词为主
今后完形填空的选项设计仍将是以考查实
词为主、虚词为辅,不会或较少有单纯考查语法
知识的题目,淡化语法的考查。实词包括动词
名词、形容词、副词、代词等,至少要占总数的
80%。除了从整体上考查对短文大意的理解外
另一个考查的重点就是辨析词汇的意义和用法,
尤其是考查在特定的语境中运用词汇的能力。
四、题型稳定,选项设计巧妙
天津中考近几年完形填空试题的设计相对
稳定,短文长度、阅读速度及设空密度基本相当。
完形填空的设计巧妙,思路清晰,选项突出情景
意义,四个选项一般属于同一类词(组)或具有相
近的语义,干扰项的设计较为科学。有时,单从
语法角度来看,干扰项与前后文字都可构成搭配

1.语境理解(10年10考)
完形填空注重在语境中考查词义和词语的
用法,所设置的考点90%以上都是有语境的。设
空处的答案有的由上文决定,有的由下文决定,
有的要综合上下文决定。简单来说可分为三类:
前置性设空、后置性设空和语篇性设空。考生需
根据上下文提供的信息进行分析及推理。
文章中的语境有一定的约性,它有助于理
解语言模糊或歧义现象,确定代词所指的意义
等。其情感性又是文意发展、作者意图和主人公
心理动机的真实体现,因此利用语境的情感性可

以巧妙地进行信息推断。另外,完形填空文章中
的语境通常都具有一定的褒贬性,它反映了作者
或主人公特定的情绪状态,并支撑文意的发展,
因此利用褒贬性语境也可以进行信息推断。
2.语法知识(10年1考)
完形填空中的语法结构问题,主要是时态语
态、非谓语动词、从句等方面。因此在做涉及语
法知识的题目时要充分调动平日掌握的语法知
识,分析句子结构,从容答题。
3.词汇运用(10年10考)
完形填空的命题原则是以实词为主,虚词为
辅,突出词汇语境化。所以完形填空中词汇的最
大考点是实义词,并且以动词、名词、代词、形容
词、副词为主。动词的考查要点是词义辨析及固
定短语、惯用搭配等;名词的考查要点主要是同
义词意义或用法辨析等;形容词的考查要点是词
义辨析及形容词作定语、表语、形容词的比较级
和最高级等;副词的考查要点包括各类副词,如
地点副词、时间副词、方式副词、连接副词和疑问
副词等。
4.逻辑推理(10年7考)
考查考生对上下文逻辑关系的理解,如转折
关系、让步关系、因果关系、递进关系、比较关系、
对比关系等。四个选项都表示文章的起承转合、
上下连贯等逻辑关系,必须弄清句子前后的逻辑
关系,才能作出正确选择。
5,常识判断(10年5考)
有些选项的设置无论从词汇、语法、习惯用
法,还是语境方面都可行,在这种情况下,就需要
考生借助常识或某些背景知识来解决问题。考
生不仅要熟练掌握所学知识,具有一定的边缘学
科知识,还要了解英语文化和风俗习惯等,培养
跨文化的思维品质。
