$Math is so much harder than science, it's the only one of my classes I have trouble with. I can help you with that if you helped me with my english homework. This SA must be completed no later than friday. Look through election notes from last week's classes. Also read some literary works. You might pick up something new there. all right. Why are students leaving the classroom? I didn't hear the bell. They flash the lights instead. A few minutes ago, if you remember. I would have set the alarm on my phone if I had known the bell was broken. Text one, excuse me, is this the right room for the world history class at five thirty? No, this is room four or four. The worst history class is in room four or five next door. Excuse me, i'm looking for a book called little women, but I can't find that anywhere. Let me see. I am sorry. We have just sold IT out. Can you play an instrument? We need a piano player for our band. If you ask for a violin player, I could help you. And my sister plays the guitar if any help is needed. Hi tom, how about your final exam? To my delight, I got a full market math, my hard work in a paid off finally, but I failed in english. What about you? I did the best in chinese, but failed in math. I should have worked harder at their subject. Do you often go to the student union? Andrew. pretty much once in a while, I meet friends there, and I spend a lot of time organizing activities in different clubs or associations. How about seeing the new film at the theater tomorrow? Sorry, I have a jury class. Every friday and the next day, I always have to look over my notes at home. Make sure to clean the needle before using IT. If we get the samples dirty, we'll have to throw them out and start the experiment again. Of course, that's literally the first thing they taught us at school.

In order for this play to work, we need everyone to help. Mrs. Blake is holding tryouts in the drama room after school. Music students are encouraged to see their teacher in the band room. This lunch hour, we are looking for people to work on the stage crew. If you would like to be a lighting director, a stage manager, or a part of the sound crew, go to the video room. Art students will be mainly responsible for creating a large ocean painting that will be used for the background. Other duties include painting furniture, making posters and other promotional material, and creating decorations. Volunteers will help do the work, too. If all goes well, we will finish our preparations by March 31st. This will give Mrs. Blake and the cast a full month to practice for the performance. At the beginning of May, they will be able to give us an amazing performance.
Passage 5

18. When is usually the most challenging time for the speaker?
A. Prep time. B. Circle time (集体活动时间). C. Greeting time.

A. Singing songs. B. Reading books. C. Learning math.
20. What does the speaker most probably think of circle play?
A. Boring. B. Important. C. Tiring.
【答案】18. C 19. A 20. B
【原文】W: For many preschool teachers, their work is tiring but meaningful. And mine is no exception. Morning is usually the busiest part of the day for a preschool teacher. You may have a bit of prep time, but almost immediately after arriving at work, you’re likely to be greeting children and trying to welcome them to school. That’s the most challenging moment for me because I have to make them excited to be there and feel OK about their parents being away from them. At our school, we start each day with circle time. We typically start by singing songs about greeting the day and each other, and about the seasons of the year. At this time of the day, I find myself really enjoying being around the kids. In elementary or high school, the class is around reading, history, and math. But in preschool, circle time is the meat and potatoes of the day. Although it might appear to be nothing more than singing and dancing, circle play actually helps develop various essential skills. Although my work is tiring, it’s pretty much impossible not to feel happy when you look at children around with big smiles on their faces. Do you agree with me?

Welcome to the stage our first started st with his project. Good afternoon to all the students, parents and staff in this hall. In my years working here for as a teacher and another three as an art department leader, i've never seen such a talented graduating class. Over the last two weeks, we've seen hundreds of wonderful art projects, from outdoor photo journals to modern paintings that cover the entire walls of the passage to this hall. Plus, given that my specific area in the arts is fashion design, they didn't learn all that for me, to be honest. All the parents and students here have every reason to feel proud. And next i'd like to present the following student artist who have been awarded the chance to show their projects and give a short speech to the audience. To begin with, we have James Smith with an amazing roman inspired sculpture, peace. Next, jane goodmen will follow him with a short film, and finally, Michael watts will presents a mixed media art created with the computer. Here at RI, S, D. We consider all out to be an expression of oneself, one's passion and the experience of life. So let's put this expression on display. please. Morning is usually the busiest part of the day. For a high school teacher, you may have a bit of prep time, but almost immediately after arriving at work, you are likely to be greeting children and trying to welcome them to school. That's the most chAllenging moment for me, because I have to make them excited to be there and feel okay about their parents being away from them. At our school, we started each day with circle time. We typically start by singing songs about greeting the day and each other and about the seasons of the year. At this time of the day, I find myself really enjoying being around the kids in elementary or high school. The class is around reading history and math. But in high school, circle time is the meeting and potatoes of the day. Although IT might appear to be nothing more than singing and dancing, circle play actually helps develop various essential skills. Although my work is tiring, it's pretty much impossible not to feel happy when you look at children around with big smiles on their faces. Do you agree with me?
