Do you ever feel even more tired after a holiday? You sleep all day, but your body still feels heavy. Why does this happen? Scientists say it's because we don't rest the right way.
You may think resting means lying in bed, watching TV or playing on the phone all day. But these activities don't really relax your mind. They keep it busy. Even after you stop, your mind keeps working, leaving you more tired.
There's another problem. After working hard all week, some people stay up late or eat too much junk food(垃圾食品) on weekends. This makes the body more tired.
A real rest isn't just about stopping work. It's about giving your body and mind what they need.Try light exercise like walking or yoga(瑜伽), or take breaks from screens and enjoy nature. If you feel sad, talk to someone or write down your feelings. Spend time with people who make you feel good, or try creative activities like drawing or cooking. Even small things like tidying your desk or watering plants can refresh your mind.
Having a rest isn't about doing nothing. It's about finding the right activities that help your body and mind relax. By resting this way, you' ll feel more relaxed and energetic.
