①泛指单数可数名词时,根据单词开头音素选a(辅音音素开头,如a book)或an(元音音素开头,如an hour);
②特指上文提及、双方共知或独一无二的事物(如the sun、the girl I met)时用the;
③抽象名词(如happiness)、复数名词表泛指(如books)或固定搭配(如at home、go to school)中用零冠词。
(1)In the United States, ______ number of schools are establishing outdoor classrooms and making use of other empty spaces, like museums.

②介词与时间(如in 2024、on Monday、at 3 pm)、地点(如in the room、on the table)、方式(如by bus、with a pen)、逻辑关系(如because of、instead of)的用法,需结合上下文判断介词的语义功能。

(i)状语从句需结合语境选表时间(when/while/as)、条件(if/unless)、让步(though/although)、原因(because/since)的连词;
(ii)名词性从句(主语/宾语/表语/同位语从句)需判断连接词是否作成分——不作成分用that(陈述句)、if/whether(一般疑问句),作成分(主/宾/表/定语)用what/who/which/why等;

如形容词important→名词importance(-ce后缀)、动词interest→形容词interesting/interested(-ing表“令人……
部分提示词需根据固定搭配调整词性,如提示词“care”,结合“take care of”(名词)或“be careful”(形容词)、“carefully”(副词)的搭配,需根据空格前后的词(如take后接名词,be后接形容词,修饰动词用副词)判断变形方向;
