本节课是探究主题意义的阅读教学。本课所在的模块主题是“人与自我”,单元话题是“个人爱好与兴趣培养”,所以在设计教学时,我把单元话题与模块主题联系起来,采用图片、问卷、视频等多模态文本输入,引导学生认识到爱好对个人成长和生活的重要性,鼓励学生培养积极健康的爱好,增进对他人的了解和尊重,促进学生积极与同伴交往。
本节课创设了多种真实情境,问题引领直指学生的高阶思维,如列举生活中科学改变世界的事例、探究文章如何体现Daniel是个科学迷、分析爱好对我们的重要性、思考Millie相信Daniel能成为科学家的原因等,发展了学生的逻辑性、批判性和创新性思维。同时,运用了多种形式的思维导图帮助学生完成对信息的获取与梳理、概括与整合,促进学生的思维发展。
本节课我让学生运用略读寻求大意、扫读获取细节等多种阅读技巧,精读教材,层层推进。同时,我还培养学生在上下文语境中猜词义的阅读技能等学习策略如:get to do,take...apart,从而提升学生的学习能力。
本节课设置多向对话,包括师生对话,学生合作,教学评价以多种形式展开,教学评价与教学目标、教学活动相吻合,以评促教、以评促学,体现“教、学、评一致”。例如:老师通过追问,学生运用阅读策略,参与不同活动最终实现语言能力,学习能力,思维品质,文化意识等目标。

新教材的改变让我备课初期对单元教学目标把握不准,导致思路不够清晰。明确单元模块范畴和单元和课时目标才能指引教师设计活动等都能围绕教学展开,最终实现“教-学-评”一体化,以及四个维度目标的实现。

一个单元、一个模块的主题意义的探究需通过多个课时逐步深入地完成,本课时尝试挖掘science对于Daniel的重要性,以及分析他是否能够实现梦想,这些都是挑战,最初还想把合理规划爱好活动并初步思考未来职业选择,未免为时尚早。
