四、任务型阅读(10分)
QUESTION
Dear Dale,
I’ve been a crazy soccer fan since I was 9. I love soccer games, but my parents are angry with me about my hobbies, although they like watching soccer games too. Should I give up my hobbies?
Yours,
Mike Wang
ANSWER
Dear Mike,
When we grow up, our parents set examples for us to follow if we want to be good people. However, they’re still allowed to do things that we’re not, even if we don’t agree.
It may seem like that’s unfair (不公平), but as we all know, being a teenager usually isn’t fair. At the moment, you’re a high school student who is already 15, so it’s understandable for your parents to be mad as you pay more attention to your hobbies than school work. Not all of us have time to do whatever we like, whenever we like— even as adults.
Your parents just want you to be the best student you can. However, maybe you could talk and come to an agreement. For example, perhaps you could watch a soccer game with your parents once a week, after all your homework is done. That way, you could enjoy your hobby and be a good student at the same time.
Life is all about compromise (妥协), as you’ll soon learn.
While it’s great to have hobbies and interests, we still have to work hard and be responsible (有责任) before we can enjoy them. Once you’re an adult and get a job, you’ll find out that hobbies are only a small part of life-most of it is about working hard.
At the same time, however, you’ll soon see how watching your favorite team is even more fun after you’ve worked extra hard for it.
Yours,
Dale
46.Until now, how long has Mike been a crazy soccer fan?
47.According to Dale, how can teenagers grow up to be good people?
48.According to Dale, why are Mike’s parents mad with him?
49.What advice does Dale give to Mike to solve his problem?
50.What do you think comes first, being responsible or enjoying hobbies? Why?

QUESTION
Dear Dale,
I’ve been a crazy soccer fan since I was 9.
Yours,
Dale

47.According to Dale, how can teenagers grow up to be good people?

六、书面表达( 15分)
Computers are becoming more and more important in our daily life. Do you know the history and the changes of computers? The computer was invented by John W. Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert in 1946. And it was made of different kinds of materials, such as plastic, metal and so on. At that time, the computer used to be very huge and it was as large as a big room. But now, it is much smaller, just like a book.
The computer is a very useful tool in our life. It was only used to count in the past, but now it can be used to help us work and study. It has many other functions. For example, it can broaden our horizons and let us know more. Besides, we can also listen to music or play games on it. That makes us relax. However, some young people spend too much time in playing games. It is very bad for eyes and study.
Every coin has two sides. In my opinion, we should use computers correctly. And I believe the computer is going to change our life completely in the near future.

QUESTION
Dear Dale,
I’ve been a crazy soccer fan since I was 9.
Yours,
Dale

【答案】
