2.Give the Ss some thinking prompts:

(2)Consider what your first sentence might be.
(3)Share your ideas with a partner.

常见用法:start to do/doing sth.开始做某事。
2.You can call me Emma.你可以叫我埃玛。
(1)can为情态动词,此处表示许可,后接动词原形。can还可表示能力和请求。
(2)call作动词,此处意为“称呼”。
【拓展】call作动词时,还可意为“(给......)打电话”。
3.I'm fine,thank you.我很好,谢谢你。
(1)fine作形容词,意为“健康的;美好的”。常用来指身体状况和天气状况好。
(2)thank和thanks:thank为动词,常用“thank sb.”,意为“谢谢某人”。thanks为名词,只用复数,可单独使用。
