B Ruiying Cai, an assistant professor, said U. S. restaurants with more than 20 locations are already required to show the calorie content (卡路里含量) of food on their menus. They show bigger font (字体) sizes for healthier foods and smaller font sizes for higher-calorie foods. “When restaurants use a larger font size for the calorie content of healthy foods, it will increase customers’ preference to order the healthier items,” Cai said. Cai and his colleagues made a study. People were asked to choose between a less healthy item like a smoked beefburger and a healthier one like a chicken sandwich. They were then divided into two groups. In the first group, the numbers and the font size went up and down together. In the second group, the font size didn’t match the number values — when the numbers got bigger, the font size got smaller, and vice versa. Cai also asked questions to find out how health-conscious (有健康意识的) these people were. Cai said the study results showed that most people, who saw low calorie contents printed in large fonts, were more likely to choose the healthier item. People who said they were less health-conscious were also the most influenced. But people who had a high level of health awareness seemed to already have favored healthy food. “Even if you used some of the smart tricks, it didn’t work as well as for those who were not so knowledgeable about health,” Cai said. The study also makes use of a phenomenon. For example, if the word “purple” is written in the green font, it takes people longer to call out which color they’re seeing than if the word and the color match. Similarly, when the size of a number doesn’t match how big or small it actually is, people usually want to figure it out, like when the number 50 looks bigger than the number 80. In this way, it helps customers to make their best choices. “Healthy food items could also be beneficial for restaurants, but whenever a healthy label (标签) is given, people may think the food does not taste good. We’re trying to provide restaurants with other signs, rather than saying it out loud,” Cai said. 24.Why is the calorie content of food shown with different font sizes on menus? A.To make the food look much tastier. B.To inform customers of food materials clearly. C.To improve customers’ interest in food science. D.To guide customers towards making healthier food choices. 25.What do the study results suggest? A.Health-conscious people are hardly influenced by the font size. B.Health-conscious people take more time to make food choices. C.Less health-conscious people often choose high-calorie foods. D.Less health-conscious people seldom notice food descriptions. 26.Why does the author mention purple and numbers 50 and 80 in Paragraph 4? A.To offer suggestions on decision-making. B.To explain the effect of the mismatch method. C.To show the limitation of using colored packaging. D.To introduce the role of numbers in information processing. 27.How does Cai probably find the use of a healthy label? A.Worrying. B.Unsatisfying. C.Surprising. D.Comforting. C Being a vegetarian (素食者) in a meat-eating culture isn’t always easy. I always get asked, “Why? Since when? How come?” and “How can you stand not eating meat?” For me, being a vegetarian isn’t strange; it’s just who and what I am. I’m sick and tired of people judging (评价) me based on a personal choice that has nothing to do with them. Honestly, I could understand if my decision had an influence on their lives, but the thing is it doesn’t, so they should just get over it. If anything, more people should be vegetarians. It’s a fact that a vegetarian has a lower risk of cancer, heart attacks, and high blood pressure. Being a vegetarian can help people live a longer life because they are eating healthily and not taking in the fat found in non-vegetarian diets. While all diets need to be balanced, it is possible to get protein, minerals and nutrients from vegetable sources. Vegetables, milk and eggs have all the requirements your body needs to survive. If you are creative, a vegetarian diet is far from boring. As vegetables come in various types and tastes, they can be prepared and eaten in countless ways. There are so many vegetarian cookbooks, which shows this is a fact. I find it funny when people say vegetarians do not get enough energy from their diet. My answer is to mention Dave Scott, the first person to win the IRONMAN World Championship six times! Yes, surprise, surprise, at the time he was a vegetarian. Vegetarianism is better for the planet because the ecological footprint of vegetarians is smaller. So next time you want to judge someone's personal choice to go veggie, remember they have their reasons, not the least of which are concerns for animals and the state of the planet. 28.How does the author feel about others’ opinions on his diet? A.Curious. B.Annoyed. C.Appreciative. D.Unconcerned. 29.What does paragraph 3 mainly tell us about a vegetarian diet? A.Its advantages. B.Its sources. C.Its varieties. D.Its popularity. 30.Why does the author mention Dave Scott in paragraph 5? A.To show what a vegetarian diet is like. B.To present a study on vegetarian diets. C.To suggest a vegetarian diet is healthy. D.To explore why some athletes are vegetarians. 31.What is the best title for the text? A.My Road to Becoming a Vegetarian B.Mistaken Beliefs about Vegetarianism C.Vegetarianism: A Common Phenomenon D.Vegetarianism: More Than a Personal Choice D While for many a chef, serving up the fanciest (最优质的) and most delicious meals is the final aim, Rudolf Brand has an extra aim: fighting food waste. He believes that with his dishes, he can have a big influence on people’s way of thinking about food and food waste. With 22 years of experience, including Michelin-starred restaurants in London and Amsterdam, he has seen a lot of food wasted in his career. So what is the best way to stop this? For him, it really comes down to one important thing: “Rather than think about what you want to cook, look at the left things, what’s available (可利用的) , and then make a menu. This is what every chef should do.” He’s clear on his solution. “Lose that fanciness, and look at the quality of the product and the flavor (风味) ,” Rudolf explains. “There are too many chefs who are trying to make their dish too fancy. They want to have only the biggest sea fish. Or they make a dish with only the heart of the cabbage, only using the best leaves, and then they throw away the rest.” He shakes his head at the idea of such waste. He knows that one of his suppliers—a local farm—is left with a growing food mountain when top Michelin-starred chefs only buy the prized cuts of meat instead of ordering the whole leg. In just three or four weeks, the farm is left with 1,000 legs of lamb in the freezer. “And that’s just one supplier,” he says. While other chefs will only accept the best ingredients (原料) from their suppliers, if something is smaller or damaged or has a few black bits, Rudolf is still going to use it. “Just because I’ll accept produce of a slightly lower quality doesn’t mean I’m going to serve food of a less quality. It’s my job to turn that into good quality food on the plate,” he says. As a chef, he thinks he has a duty not only to cook delicious food, but also to reduce food waste. 32.What is Rudolf’s extra goal with his dishes? A.To create the fanciest meals ever. B.To educate the public on food waste. C.To encourage people to cook by themselves. D.To start a career in Michelin-starred restaurants. 33.What does Rudolf say about many chefs? A.They care too much about flavor. B.They are too choosy about ingredients. C.They satisfy customers’ needs to the full. D.They would like to try out new cooking methods. 34.What problem do food suppliers face according to Rudolf? A.They overproduce greatly. B.They struggle to win orders. C.They fail to store their products properly. D.They have many unwanted left ingredients. 35.Which of the following best describes Rudolf? A.Influential. B.Energetic. C.Poor. D.Responsible. Have you ever asked yourself why it is, that when the dessert menu arrives, somehow, you always seem to have space? 36 The team at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing found that the same nerve cells (细胞) that make us feel full after a meal are also responsible for our sweet desire afterwards. Here are four ways to work with your body if you want to reduce the sweet tooth. Fill up on fibre (纤维). Upping fibre in the diet can prevent blood sugar rising which drives sugar desires. It causes changes in the stomach that directly affect the brain, making you less likely to long for sugary foods. 37 And leave the skins on potatoes for an immediate fibre increase. Ensure healthy fats and protein (蛋白质) in your meal. They make you feel more satisfied and less likely to reach for something sweet after a meal. Healthy fats, in the form of full-fat milk and nuts, and protein in eggs, fish and beans, are important in determining how satisfied you feel. 38 Try eating mindfully. The desire for sweet food comes from the need to be comforted, particularly when we are stressed. We often eat a sugary snack because we ignore our body’s hunger signals. So before reaching for that biscuit, ask yourself these questions: 39 Am I just bored or in need of a break? 40 If you are going to eat dessert, choose smaller parts and find a comfort place in which you eat them. Use a plate, sit down and enjoy your snack. You can make more healthy sweet treats too. Have a square of dark chocolate with a teaspoon of nu t butter to satisfy your sweet tooth in a more sustaining way. A.Focus on what you eat. B.Am I eager for a bar of chocolate? C.So try to include them in every meal. D.Can I ride this out until the next meal? E.Well, researchers might have the answer. F.Enjoy the dessert if you’re going to have it. G.Switch to wholegrain bread, rice and noodles. I never knew a chance encounter was to change my career forever. She was the one who originally inspired my love for cooking and my dream of becoming a chef. Yet, one day I received a text that would turn my whole life around, “Grandma is seriously ill,” the text read, “and we need your help in assisting with her care.” Without a second of hesitation, I agreed to travel back home. Thankfully, my boss at the restaurant let me take unpaid leave for the next several months so I could come home to help out with Gran. After driving across several states, I finally got back to our family home in West Virginia. Yet, what I saw was really bard for me to bear. The Meredith I saw then was not the lively, joyful Meredith I had seen while I was growing up. “Tony!” she called to me from her bed, “It’s so good to see you! " “Gran,” I sighed, “I’m not Tony. That’s dad, your son. I’m Hank.” This was the start of a months-long journey of helping out around the house-cooking, cleaning, and, most of all, keeping Gran in good health and good spirits. Every day, I cooked delicious food to keep everyone’s spirits high. But, secretly, I hoped that cooking some dishes that we had made together in my childhood would somehow help get Gran’s memory of me back, if not just for a moment. Stews (炖菜), chops (排骨), roasts—I served all of these to Gran and my parents around the clock. When I wasn’t taking Gran out for strolls (散步) in her wheelchair or changing her bed sheets, I was cooking. I had cooked for dignitaries (显要人物) and rock stars while at the restaurant in New York City, but never had I poured my heart out into my meals than I did then for Grandma Meredith. 注意: 1.续写词数应为150左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 When I was almost at my breaking point, I decided to make something simple. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After taking a few bites, Gran finally called out my name—my actual name. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 原创精品资源学科网独家享有版权,侵权必究!1 12 / 12 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 2025-2026学年高一英语必修第二册单元测试(山东专用) Unit 1·培优卷 学校:___________班级:___________姓名:___________分数:___________ (时间:120分钟,满分:150分) 注意事项: 1. 1.What can we learn about the chef? I think I’ll order another one. W: We can just leave our food and grab a piece of pizza on the way home. M: That’s a good idea. Let’s finish our drinks first. W: Okay. Hey, did Brian ever pay you back the money he owed you? M: Yeah, he finally did. He’s a good friend, but he’s very forgetful sometimes. We should invite him and Susan over for dinner soon. I haven’t seen them in ages. W: I’ll give Susan a call this weekend. 听第9段材料,回答第14至17题。 14.How did the woman learn cooking? A.From her mother. B.On the Internet. Participants divide themselves into two teams to paint their faces like skulls and begin the festival by throwing fireballs at each other. (每年的8月31日,Nejapa的居民都会聚集在一起扔火球,以纪念1658年的El Playon火山爆发。参与者将自己分成两个小组,将自己的脸画成头骨,并通过向对方投掷火球来开始节日。)”可知,Nejapa的居民每年8月31日聚集庆祝Las Bolas de Fuego,通过分成两队,画上骷髅脸,然后互相投掷火球来纪念1658年的El Playon火山爆发。故选B。 22.细节理解题。根据Underwater Music Festival, Florida部分中“The event houses ocean-themed songs streaming live from underwater speakers along with musician-divers playing odd instruments giving a visual treat for all.(活动中,海洋主题的歌曲通过水下扬声器现场播放,音乐家和潜水员一起演奏奇怪的乐器,给所有人带来视觉享受。)”可知,Underwater Music Festival是在水下举行的,其特别之处在于有海洋主题的歌曲通过水下扬声器现场播放,还有潜水员音乐家演奏奇特的乐器。故选C。 23.推理判断题。根据Boryeong Mud Festival, South Korea部分中“What began as marketing event in 1998 later turned into a famous festival, drawing in millions of visitors every year. (这个始于1998年的营销活动后来变成了一个著名的节日,每年吸引数百万游客。)”以及Lopburi Monkey Banquet, Thailand部分中“The festival first occurred in 1989, run by a local businessman who thought of this unique way to pay gratitude to monkeys and also bring in tourism — luckily for him and the monkeys, it worked!(该节日最早于1989年举办,由当地一位商人举办,他想出了这种独特的方式来感谢猴子,并带来旅游业——幸运的是,他和猴子们成功了!)”可知,Boryeong Mud Festival最初也是一个营销活动,后来发展成为每年吸引数百万游客的著名节日,而Lopburi Monkey Banquet是由一位当地商人发起的,他以这种独特的方式感谢猴子并吸引旅游业,可得出Lopburi Monkey Banquet和Boryeong Mud Festival都是为了吸引游客,促进当地旅游业的发展。故选B。 B Ruiying Cai, an assistant professor, said U. S. restaurants with more than 20 locations are already required to show the calorie content (卡路里含量) of food on their menus. 【答案】24.D 25.A 26.B 27.B 【解析】这是一篇说明文。文章主要介绍了研究发现对健康食品用大字体进行标注有助于人们选择更健康的食品,解释了原理,并指出目前的不足之处。 24.细节理解题。根据第一段中“They show bigger font (字体) sizes for healthier foods and smaller font sizes for higher-calorie foods. “When restaurants use a larger font size for the calorie content of healthy foods, it will increase customers’ preference to order the healthier items,” Cai said. (他们对健康食品使用较大的字体,对高热量食品则使用较小的字体。蔡表示:“当餐厅对健康食品的卡路里含量采用更大字体时,会提升顾客点选健康食品的意愿。”)”可知,将食物热量用较大字体写在菜单上的目的是引导顾客选择更健康的食品。故选D。 25.细节理解题。根据第三段中“But people who had a high level of health awareness seemed to already have favored healthy food. “Even if you used some of the smart tricks, it didn’t work as well as for those who were not so knowledgeable about health,” Cai said. (但那些健康意识较高的人似乎已经喜欢健康食品了。“即使你使用了一些聪明的技巧,对于那些不太了解健康的人来说,它也没有那么有效,”蔡说。)”可知,研究结果表明有健康意识的人几乎不受大字体的影响。故选A。 26.推理判断题。根据倒数第二段“Similarly, when the size of a number doesn’t match how big or small it actually is, people usually want to figure it out, like when the number 50 looks bigger than the number 80. In this way, it helps customers to make their best choices. (同样,当一个数字的大小与它实际的大小不匹配时,人们通常想要弄清楚它,就像数字50看起来比数字80大一样。通过这种方式,它可以帮助客户做出最佳选择。)”推知,作者在第4段提到紫色和数字50和80来解释错配方法的效果——让人们试图弄清楚它们,并做出最佳选择。故选B。 27.推理判断题。根据最后一段““Healthy food items could also be beneficial for restaurants, but whenever a healthy label (标签) is given, people may think the food does not taste good. We’re trying to provide restaurants with other signs, rather than saying it out loud,” Cai said. (蔡表示:“健康食品对餐厅而言也可能有益,但只要给食物贴上‘健康’标签,人们就可能觉得它口感不好。我们正尝试为餐厅提供其他标识方式,而非如此直白地标注。”)”推知,蔡认为健康标签可能没有那么令人满意,因为他们正在尝试为餐厅提供其他标识方式。故选B。 C Being a vegetarian (素食者) in a meat-eating culture isn’t always easy. A.My Road to Becoming a Vegetarian B.Mistaken Beliefs about Vegetarianism C.Vegetarianism: A Common Phenomenon D.Vegetarianism: More Than a Personal Choice 【答案】28.B 29.A 30.C 31.D 【解析】这是一篇议论文。文章主要讲述了作者坚持素食主义的原因及素食主义的好处。 28.推理判断题。根据第二段“For me, being a vegetarian isn’t strange; it’s just who and what I am. I’m sick and tired of people judging (评价) me based on a personal choice that has nothing to do with them. Honestly, I could understand if my decision had an influence on their lives, but the thing is it doesn’t, so they should just get over it.(对我来说,吃素并不奇怪;只是我是谁,我是什么。我厌倦了人们根据与他们无关的个人选择来评判我。说实话,如果我的决定影响了他们的生活,我能理解,但事实是没有,所以他们应该忘掉这件事)”可知,作者厌倦了人们根据与他们无关的个人选择来评判自己,由此可推知,作者对别人的看法感到不满和生气。故选B。 29.主旨大意题。根据第三段内容,尤其是“It’s a fact that a vegetarian has a lower risk of cancer, heart attacks, and high blood pressure. Being a vegetarian can help people live a longer life because they are eating healthily and not taking in the fat found in non-vegetarian diets.(事实上,素食者患癌症、心脏病和高血压的风险较低。成为素食者可以帮助人们活得更久,因为他们吃得健康,不会摄入非素食者饮食中的脂肪)”可知,本段主要描述了素食饮食对健康的益处。因此,这段主要讲述了素食饮食的优点。故选A。 30.推理判断题。根据第五段“I find it funny when people say vegetarians do not get enough energy from their diet. My answer is to mention Dave Scott, the first person to win the IRONMAN World Championship six times! Yes, surprise, surprise, at the time he was a vegetarian.(当人们说素食者不能从饮食中获得足够的能量时,我觉得很有趣。我的回答是提到Dave Scott,他是第一个六次赢得铁人世界锦标赛的人!是的,惊喜,惊喜,那时候他还是个素食主义者)”可知,本段提到Dave Scott是为了举例说明素食者可以在体能和健康方面也表现优异,从而支持素食健康这一观点。故选C。 31.主旨大意题。通读全文,结合最后一段“Vegetarianism is better for the planet because the ecological footprint of vegetarians is smaller. So next time you want to judge someone's personal choice to go veggie, remember they have their reasons, not the least of which are concerns for animals and the state of the planet.(素食对地球更好,因为素食者的生态足迹更小。所以,下次你想评判某人选择素食的个人选择时,请记住他们有他们的理由,其中最重要的是对动物和地球状况的关注)”可知,文章不仅强调素食和个人选择,还涉及健康、生态和动物保护,因此标题应体现其超越个人选择的层面,D项“素食主义:不仅仅是个人选择”最适合作为标题。故选D。 D While for many a chef, serving up the fanciest (最优质的) and most delicious meals is the final aim, Rudolf Brand has an extra aim: fighting food waste. 【答案】32.B 33.B 34.D 35.D 【解析】本文是一篇记叙文,主要讲述了厨师Rudolf Brand在制作美食的同时,还有对抗食物浪费的额外目标,他想要影响人们对食物和食物浪费的看法。 32.细节理解题。根据第一段“While for many a chef, serving up the fanciest (最优质的) and most delicious meals is the final aim, Rudolf Brand has an extra aim: fighting food waste. He believes that with his dishes, he can have a big influence on people’s way of thinking about food and food waste.(虽然对于许多厨师来说,提供最优质、最美味的饭菜是最终目标,但Rudolf Brand还有一个额外的目标:与食物浪费作斗争。他相信,通过他的菜肴,他可以对人们对食物和食物浪费的看法产生很大的影响。)”可知,Rudolf Brand做食物的额外目标是与食物浪费作斗争,他想通过自己做的食物来影响人们对食物和食物浪费的看法,由此可知,他想要教育公众关于食物浪费的问题。故选B。 33.推理判断题。根据第三段中的“There are too many chefs who are trying to make their dish too fancy. They want to have only the biggest sea fish. Or they make a dish with only the heart of the cabbage, only using the best leaves, and then they throw away the rest.(有太多的厨师试图让他们的菜太花哨。他们只想吃最大的海鱼。或者他们只用卷心菜的心,只用最好的叶子做一道菜,然后把剩下的扔掉。)”可推测出,许多厨师对食材太过挑剔。故选B。 34.推理判断题。根据第四段中的“He knows that one of his suppliers—a local farm—is left with a growing food mountain when top Michelin-starred chefs only buy the prized cuts of meat instead of ordering the whole leg. In just three or four weeks, the farm is left with 1,000 legs of lamb in the freezer.(他知道,当米其林星级厨师只购买珍贵的肉块而不是订购整条腿时,他的供应商之一——一家当地农场——留下了越来越多的食物山。在短短三到四周的时间里,农场的冰箱里就剩下了1000条羊腿。)”可知,由于米其林星级厨师只购买珍贵的肉块而不是整条羊腿,这导致供应商的农场里剩下了许多羊腿,由此可推测,食物供应商面临的问题是他们剩下了许多不被需要的食材。故选D。 35.推理判断题。根据最后一段中的“Just because I’ll accept produce of a slightly lower quality doesn’t mean I’m going to serve food of a less quality. It’s my job to turn that into good quality food on the plate(仅仅因为我会接受质量稍低的农产品,并不意味着我会提供质量较低的食物。我的工作就是把它变成盘子里的优质食物)”和“As a chef, he thinks he has a duty not only to cook delicious food, but also to reduce food waste.(作为一名厨师,他认为自己不仅有责任做美味的食物,还有责任减少食物浪费。)”可知,Rudolf虽然会接受质量较次的食材,但他依然会把这些食材做成优质食物提供给顾客,他认为自己有责任在做美味食物的同时减少食物浪费,由此可推测出,他是一个有责任心的人。故选D。 第二节(共5小题:每小题2. 5分, 满分12. 5分) 阅读下面短文, 从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 Have you ever asked yourself why it is, that when the dessert menu arrives, somehow, you always seem to have space? 【答案】36.E 37.G 38.C 39.D 40.F 【解析】本文是一篇说明文。文章主要讲述了科学家揭示饭后想吃甜食的原因,并提供了减少对甜食渴望的四种方法。 36.由上文“Have you ever asked yourself why it is, that when the dessert menu arrives, somehow, you always seem to have space? (你有没有问过自己,为什么当甜点菜单端上来的时候,不知怎么的,你似乎总是有空间?)”和下文“The team at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing found that the same nerve cells (细胞) that make us feel full after a meal are also responsible for our sweet desire afterwards. (马克斯·普朗克衰老生物学研究所的研究小组发现,让我们饭后有饱腹感的同一组神经细胞也负责我们之后的甜食欲望。)”可知,本空应表明研究人员可能有上述现象的答案。E选项“Well, researchers might have the answer. (那么研究人员可能找到了答案。)”符合题意,能承上启下。故选E。 37.由上文“Upping fibre in the diet can prevent blood sugar rising which drives sugar desires. It causes changes in the stomach that directly affect the brain, making you less likely to long for sugary foods. (增加饮食中的纤维可以防止血糖升高,从而抑制对糖的渴望。它会引起胃部的变化,直接影响大脑,使你不太可能渴望含糖食物。)”和下文“And leave the skins on potatoes for an immediate fibre increase. (保留土豆皮可以立即增加纤维。)”可知,本空应建议增加纤维的方法,G选项“Switch to wholegrain bread, rice and noodles. (改吃全麦面包、米饭和面条。)”也是增加纤维的方法,符合题意。故选G。 38.由上文“Ensure healthy fats and protein (蛋白质) in your meal. They make you feel more satisfied and less likely to reach for something sweet after a meal. Healthy fats, in the form of full-fat milk and nuts, and protein in eggs, fish and beans, are important in determining how satisfied you feel. (确保你的饮食中含有健康的脂肪和蛋白质。它们会让你感到更满足,减少饭后吃甜食的可能性。健康脂肪,如全脂牛奶和坚果,以及鸡蛋、鱼和豆类中的蛋白质,在决定你的满足感方面很重要。)”可知,健康脂肪和蛋白质很重要,所以要坚持吃。C选项“So try to include them in every meal. (所以尽量每餐都吃。)”符合题意,是对上文的总结和建议。故选C。 39.由上文“Try eating mindfully. The desire for sweet food comes from the need to be comforted, particularly when we are stressed. We often eat a sugary snack because we ignore our body’s hunger signals. So before reaching for that biscuit, ask yourself these questions: (尝试用心进食。对甜食的渴望源于我们渴望得到安慰的需求,尤其是在我们倍感压力的时候。我们常常会吃含糖零食,是因为我们忽略了身体发出的饥饿信号。所以,在伸手去拿那块饼干之前,先问问自己这些问题:)”及下文“Am I just bored or in need of a break? (我只是觉得无聊还是需要休息一下?)”可知,本空应是一个与吃甜食欲望相关的问题,用于引导读者进行自我反思。B 选项“Am I eager for a bar of chocolate? (我渴望一块巧克力吗?)”只是单纯询问是否想吃某种甜食,并没有触及“渴望的本质”,与上文“判断需求合理性”的逻辑不匹配。而D选项 “Can I ride this out until the next meal? (我能坚持到下一顿饭吗?)”则是通过思考“是否真的饥饿到必须吃甜食”来判断需求的真实性,与上下文“反思渴望背后的原因”的核心逻辑一致,更符合语境。故选D。 40.由下文“If you are going to eat dessert, choose smaller parts and find a comfort place in which you eat them. Use a plate, sit down and enjoy your snack. You can make more healthy sweet treats too. (如果你要吃甜点,选择小份的,找一个舒服的地方吃。用盘子盛着,坐下来享受你的零食。你也可以做更多健康的甜食。)”可知,本空应建议想吃甜食的享受建议,F选项“Enjoy the dessert if you’re going to have it. (如果你要吃甜点,就好好享受吧。)”符合题意,是对下文的概括。故选F。 第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节(共15小题:每小题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文, 从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。 I never knew a chance encounter was to change my career forever. One snowy December day, I wandered out of my New York apartment and 41 for a grocery store on Third Ave. Behind me someone shouted, “Where can I find peaches?” I turned around to 42 an annoyed woman standing outside the greengrocer’s. The absurdity (荒谬) of the moment 43 me — why must someone buy peaches in the middle of winter? I was already 44 of the issues facing the food system: industrialized farming destroying our soils, unclear supply chains leaving citizens 45 in making the right buying decisions, and the 46 of ultra-processed foods with zero nutritional value in supermarkets, schools and hospitals, to name a few. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【范文】   When I was almost at my breaking point, I decided to make something simple. What came to my mind was a sandwich. When I was a child, my grandma always made me a sandwich for breakfast. It was the most delicious sandwich in the world. Since then, I have dreamt about being a chef. The sandwich made by my grandma has two layers, the first layer with ham, and the second layer with vegetable salad. So I made a sandwich the way my grandma did. Then I gave it to my grandma, hoping it could help her remember me.        After taking a few bites, Gran finally called out my name—my actual name. I was so excited that I hugged her, saying “Finally, you remember me!” “My dear, you come back. I miss you so much.” My grandma said happily with tears rolling down her face. In the following days, I accompanied my grandma and took care of her. Soon she recovered. It is not only the sandwich but also my love for her helps her recover. 原创精品资源学科网独家享有版权,侵权必究!1 12 / 12 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $英语听力。第一节。听下面5段对话。每段对话后有一个小题,从题中所给的ABC3个选项中选出最佳选项。听完每段对话后,你都有10秒钟的时间来回答有关小题和阅读下一小题。每段对话仅读一遍。现在你有5秒钟的时间阅读第一小题的有关内容。Wow, the fish here is amazing. 第二节(共5小题:每小题2. 5分, 满分12. 5分) 阅读下面短文, 从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 Have you ever asked yourself why it is, that when the dessert menu arrives, somehow, you always seem to have space? 第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节(共15小题:每小题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文, 从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。 I never knew a chance encounter was to change my career forever. 注意: 1. 续写词数应为150左右; 2. 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 When I was almost at my breaking point, I decided to make something simple. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ After taking a few bites, Gran finally called out my name—my actual name. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ 试题 第3页(共12页) 试题 第4页(共12页) 试题 第5页(共12页) 试题 第6页(共12页) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
