Cultivate students' ability to organize their thoughts and write a coherent passage about themselves. 教学过程 教学环节 学习活动(包含设计意图) Step 1: Warming-up & Lead-in (5 minutes) Greet the students as usual. Then show some interesting pictures on the PPT. The pictures can be about different hobbies, such as reading books, playing basketball, dancing, etc. Ask students to look at the pictures and quickly say out what they see in Chinese. Design Intent: This activity can quickly attract students' attention, arouse their interest in class, and also activate their prior knowledge about hobbies, laying a foundation for the following learning of new words related to hobbies. Step 2: Presentation (10 minutes) Present the new words on the PPT one by one, such as “hobby”, “dream”, “special”, “collect”, “university”. Teach the pronunciation of each word carefully, let students read after the teacher several times, and correct their pronunciation in time. Use flashcards to review the words. Show the flashcards quickly and ask students to read the words as fast as they can. Then divide the class into two groups. The teacher shows the flashcards, and the two groups race to read the words. The group that reads more words correctly and faster wins. Design Intent: By using PPT and flashcards, the new words can be presented in a more vivid and intuitive way, which is convenient for students to remember. The word - reading competition can increase students' enthusiasm for learning new words and also help them master the words better. Step 3: Practice (10 minutes) Tell students that they are going to listen to a dialogue between two new classmates, Li Ming and Wang Li. Their task is to listen carefully and answer two questions: What's Li Ming's hobby? What does Wang Li want to be in the future? Play the recording for the first time. After that, ask some students to answer the questions. If they can't answer correctly, play the recording again. Then play the recording for the third time. This time, ask students to listen carefully and fill in the blanks on the handout. The blanks are some key information in the dialogue, such as Li Ming's age, where he comes from, and Wang Li's dream job. Check the answers with the whole class. Design Intent: Through listening practice, students' listening ability can be trained. Setting different tasks for different listening times can gradually guide students to catch more detailed information, and also help them understand the application of the learned vocabulary and sentence patterns in real - life dialogues. Step 4: Oral Practice & Consolidation (15 minutes) First, ask students to work in pairs. They need to introduce themselves to their partners using the sentence patterns they have just learned, such as “My name is...”, “I am... years old”, “I come from...”, “My hobby is...”, “I want to be... in the future”. They can also add some other information they want to share. Walk around the classroom, listen to their conversations, and give them necessary guidance and encouragement. After a few minutes, invite several pairs of students to come to the front of the class and introduce each other. The rest of the students listen carefully and can ask some questions if they are interested. Design Intent: Pair - work provides students with more opportunities to practice speaking English. By introducing each other in pairs first, students can build up their confidence. Then, the performance in front of the class can further improve their speaking ability and public - speaking confidence, and also promote communication and interaction among students. Step 5: Summary & Homework (5 minutes) Summarize the key points of this class with the students, including the new words, sentence patterns, and the usage of the simple present tense in self - introduction. Assign homework: Ask students to make a more complete self - introduction video. They can use some pictures or simple props to make their self - introduction more vivid. They need to send the video to the class group chat tomorrow. Design Intent: Summary can help students review and strengthen the knowledge they have learned in class. The video - making homework can not only further improve students' comprehensive ability of using English but also increase their interest in learning English. 1 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
