摘要:

该教案聚焦七年级英语Unit 6“Hitting the road”中的旅行话题,围绕核心词汇、建议表达与将来时态展开教学,通过图片导入激活已有经验,借助听辨训练强化信息捕捉能力,再以小组讨论实现语言输出,形成由输入到输出的完整学习支架。 本设计亮点突出,融合语言能力、文化意识与思维品质三大核心素养。例如,在Step 4小组活动中,学生运用“I’d better... because...”和“I prefer... rather than...”进行真实情境决策,不仅锻炼语言表达,更促进批判性思维发展;同时通过讨论不同目的地的文化特色,增强跨文化理解力,体现家国情怀与全球视野。教师可直接套用此流程开展高效课堂,学生则在任务驱动中提升综合语言运用能力和自主学习意识。

Teaching Key Points The learning of core vocabulary and phrases for describing travel plans and transportation methods. Mastering the sentence patterns for giving suggestions and expressing preferences. Using the simple future tense correctly to talk about travel plans. 2. Teaching Difficult Points Applying the simple future tense flexibly in different contexts to express travel plans and destinations accurately. Conducting smooth and effective communication in English when discussing travel - related topics, including expressing complex ideas and opinions. Helping students understand and respect different people’s attitudes and experiences towards travel shown in the materials. 教学过程 教学环节 学习活动(包含设计意图) Step 1: Warming-up & Lead-in (5 minutes) Activity: Show some beautiful pictures of famous travel destinations around the world on the PPT, such as the Eiffel Tower in France, the Great Wall in China, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, etc. Ask students to look at the pictures and share their feelings and thoughts briefly. For example, “What do you think of this place? Have you ever been to any of these places? If you have a chance to travel, which place would you like to go?” Design Intention: This activity can quickly attract students’ attention and arouse their interest in the topic of travel. By sharing their thoughts, students can activate their existing knowledge and experiences related to travel, which paves the way for the following learning content. Step 2: Presentation (10 minutes) Activity: Present the new words and phrases related to travel and transportation on the PPT one by one, such as “travel, trip, journey, adventure, map, explore, transportation, local, culture, traffic jam”. Teach the pronunciation, meaning and usage of each word. For example, when teaching “travel”, explain that it can be used as both a verb and a noun, “I like to travel around the world. (verb)” “My father is on a business travel. (noun)”. Then, let students read the words and phrases after the teacher several times to practice the pronunciation. After that, divide students into pairs. One student says a word, and the other student tries to make a sentence with it. Design Intention: Systematically teaching new vocabulary helps students build a solid foundation for understanding and expressing travel - related topics. The pair - work activity can enhance students’ understanding and application of new words, and also improve their speaking skills in a relaxed atmosphere. Step 3: Practice (10 minutes) Activity: Tell students that they are going to listen to a conversation between two friends, Jack and Lily, who are discussing their travel plans. Before listening, show some questions on the PPT, such as “Where are Jack and Lily going to travel?”, “How are they going there?”, “What are their concerns about the trip?” Then play the recording for the first time. Students listen carefully and try to get a general idea of the conversation. Play the recording again, and this time, students listen more carefully and take notes to answer the questions. After listening, check the answers with the whole class. Design Intention: The pre - listening questions can guide students’ listening focus. By listening twice, students can first get a general understanding and then capture specific details. This process helps improve students’ listening skills, especially the ability to extract key information from the listening materials. Step 4: Oral Practice & Consolidation (15 minutes) Activity: Divide students into groups of four. Each group is given a task: Suppose they are planning a weekend trip. They need to discuss and decide on the destination, transportation method, things to do during the trip and any possible problems they may encounter. Encourage students to use the learned vocabulary and sentence patterns, such as “I think we’d better go to the beach because it’s relaxing. What do you think?”, “I prefer to take a bus rather than drive, for it’s more convenient.” Each group chooses a representative to report their travel plan to the whole class. Design Intention: Group discussion provides students with more opportunities to practice speaking English. They can exchange ideas, negotiate and make decisions in the group, which not only improves their language ability but also develops their teamwork and communication skills. The reporting activity can enhance students’ confidence in public speaking. Step 5: Summary & Homework (5 minutes) Summary: Summarize the key points of this class with students, including new vocabulary, sentence patterns, listening and speaking skills related to travel plans. Emphasize the importance of using English to express travel - related ideas in daily life. Homework: Ask students to write a short passage (about 80 - 100 words) about their own future travel plan. They should include the destination, transportation method, what they want to do there and why they choose this place. They need to use at least three new words and two sentence patterns learned in this class. Design Intention: The summary can help students review and consolidate the knowledge learned in class. The writing homework can further strengthen students’ understanding and application of the learned content, and improve their writing ability. 1 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
