1. Why do you think the family spent the Spring Festival at the village?
To stay with Wenwen’s grandparents. It’s their hometown.
Because Spring Festival is a time for family reunion, so going back to the hometown lets them be with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Because it’s a tradition to celebrate such an important holiday with the whole family in the place that feels like“home”.
