读后续写技能回顾

1. 如何读？

      浅层信息定位：Who (人物及人物关系); When(时间); Where (地点); What (事件/主要矛盾); Why (原因); How (情节如何发展？)

5W1H（记叙文六要素）

 

2. 如何写？

      把握情节线(plot line)和情感线 (emotion line)：Positive (主题积极); Reasonable (情节合理); Consistent (风格连贯)

（1）具体的动词

（2）形象的形容词、副词

（3）有效的非谓语

（4）进行动作描写、语言描写、心理描写、外貌描写以及环境描写

（5）丰富的句式：倒装句(Not only…but also; 介词提前)、强调句、with复合结构、从句

 

      Example for showing phrases (微技能)

Tom was nervous：

Tom was waiting for his job interview to begin. His heart was racing (Internal sensation) as he tapped his foot. (Physical signal) He wondered if the manager would like him. (Mental responses)

 

      续写结构：注意承上启下

3. 情感与动作描写

      关于紧张、焦虑、沮丧的描写：

①        I felt so upset that my throat tightened and my knees felt weak.

②        I froze with anxiety, too anxious to move an inch.

③        I was seized by a strong sense of anxiety and my palms were sweating.

④        This made me feel upset and shivery.

⑤        A flood of anxiety welled up in me. /Anxiety flooded over me.

⑥        Martha was worried sick. Her throat was dry and her face was burning up.

 

      关于兴奋/高兴的描写

形容词：happy; delighted; excited; thrilled; wild with joy

动词：jump/leap/dance with joy; be seized with happiness/delight/ joy/excitement

例句：When the host announced that she won the prize, she was seized with excitement / a wide excitement took hold of her.

When the host announced that she won the prize, her eyes twinkled with excitement / her heart was thumping with excitement. 

 

      关于笑的描写

动词：smile brightly; grin at sb (咧着嘴笑); laugh; burst into laughter; burst out laughing; wear a bright/broad smile; beam (笑容满面); one’s (eyes/face) light up with delight (喜形于色)

例句：Seeing every student studying carefully, she wore a broad mile.

Seeing every student studying carefully, her eyes/ face lit up with delight.

 

      关于难过/悲伤的描写

形容词：sad; bitter; sorrowful; heartbroken

动词：cry; weep; sob; one’s heart ache; burst into tears; tears fill one’s eyes/ stream down one’s cheeks; be seized with sadness;

例句：Upon hearing the bad news, she felt seized by a burst of sadness and couldn’t help crying bitterly.

Upon hearing the bad news, her heart ached, tears streaming down her cheeks.
