Hi! / Hello!用于熟人之间非正式场合下的问候,可单独使用,也可加称呼使用。hi和hello可互换,但hi比hello更随意、亲切一些。

①表示打招呼时,hi 比 hello 更口语化。
②打电话时,只能用 hello,不用 hi。
hello的由来
如今,hello一词已在世界上大多数语言的口语中得到了广泛的应用。 据说,在英语中,hello使用的频繁度仅次于“我(I)”。
但是,hello一词是在1883年之后才出现在书面语中。
hello最初的形式是hala。
1066年,诺曼底人征服英国,受法语的影响, hala变成了hallow。
在16世纪莎士比亚时代, hallow变成了halloo或者halloa,现在还有不少人在使用halloo打招呼呢。
后来,爱迪生在发明电话时,他在电话里对他的朋友情不自禁说出了hello。从那时起, hello这个词就风靡起来了。
2. Good morning!
常用于早晨或上午(中午12点之前)向他人问候,其答语通常还是Good morning! 问候他人时,称呼语通常放在问候语后,而且用逗号隔开。
