Writing Lesson Plan: Self  Introduction

 

 I. Objectives

 Students can write a self  introduction using the given useful expressions and the model of Daniel's self  introduction.

 Students can correctly use punctuation marks such as commas, full stops, and question marks in writing.

 Students can express their personal information, favorite subjects, and hobbies clearly in English.

 

II. Teaching Aids

 PPT slides (showing useful expressions and punctuation rules)

 Sample self  introduction papers

 

III. Teaching Procedures

1. Warm  up (5 minutes)

 Greet the students: "Good morning, class! Today we are going to learn how to write a self  introduction. First, let's play a game. I will describe a student, and you guess who it is. For example: 'He/She is 12 years old. His/Her favorite subject is English. He/She likes playing basketball.' "

 Invite students to take turns to describe and guess.

 

2. Presentation (10 minutes)

 Introduce the Task: Tell students that Mr Wu asked every student to write a self  introduction and post it on the school website. Show Daniel's self  introduction from the textbook.
