根据“since”可知,时态为现在完成时,结构为have/has done,主语Three years表示一个时间段,作为一个整体概念,视为单数主语,助动词用has,根据“how time flies!”
2. —Look at the blue sky. _______ fine weather it is!
—Yes, it’s good for a picnic.
A. How B. What a C. What
3. —Excuse me, could you tell me ________?
—Turn right at the second crossing and then you will get there.
A. where the history museum was
B. how can I get to the nearest library
C. which is the way to the People’s Park
where the history museum was历史博物馆在哪里(时态不一致);how can I get to the nearest library我怎样才能到最近的图书馆(语序错误,宾语从句需用陈述语序);which is the way to the People’s Park哪条路是去人民公园的(符合语境和语法规则)。
4. Although the Chinese Men’s Football Team lost to Japan 0-7 on September 5, not only my father but also my brother and I ________ still crazy about playing soccer.
A. are B. is C. am
【答案】A
根据“not only my father but also my brother and I”可知,当主语由“not only…but also…” 句中最近的主语是“my brother and I”为复数意义,be动词应用are。故选A。

“will”为情态动词,其后跟动词原形,be used to do sth表示“被用于做某事”。故选A。
7. —Did you find ________ easy to learn English?
—Yes, but I think it’s difficult now.
A. this B. it C. that

“avoid doing sth.”
9. —Our English teacher asks us to read English ________ aloud in the morning.
—I think ________ practice is very good for us to improve our English.
A. every day, everyday B. everyday, every day C. everyday, everyday
【答案】A

故选A。

At the age of 16, Einstein always played with a group of naughty (淘气的) kids. Because he was so busy playing, he didn’t study enough and failed his final exam.
One morning, when Einstein was holding a fishing rod (钓竿) and was about to go fishing with his friends, his father stopped him and said calmly (平静地), “Einstein, you’ re so fond of playing all day that you failed your exam. I’m worried about your future.”
“What are you worrying about? Jack and Robert also failed, but don’t they still go fishing?”
“My boy, you can’t think like that,” his dad said. “There is a story that people tell in our hometown. Listen to it now.”
“There were two cats playing on a roof (屋顶). One cat suddenly went down the chimney (烟囱). It caught the other cat quickly. When the two cats climbed out of the chimney, one of the cats had soot (煤灰) on its face, while the other cat’s face was clean. Seeing the soot-faced cat, the clean cat thought its face must be dirty, so it quickly ran to the riverside and washed its face. The soot-faced cat saw the clean-faced cat and thought its face was also clean. So it just ran down the street.”
“Einstein, no one can be your ‘mirror’. You have to think for yourself. If you take your cue (提示) from others, you will never learn.”

Many of us have seen rainbows in the sky once the sun starts shining again after it rains. For us to see a rainbow, the conditions need to be just right. We need some water drops in the air, like rain or even fog (雾), and we need the sun to be behind us and quite low to the ground. This is because a rainbow is created by light passing through water drops.
The light that comes from the sun seems white to us. But the white light we see is made up of a mix of different colors. When the light goes through a raindrop, these colors can separate out (分离). Each of the colors in the rainbow has a different “wavelength (波长)”. Raindrops look like little balls. When light hits one of these little balls of water, the light can change direction. We call this “refraction (折射)”. Each of the different wavelengths is refracted differently. If the light hits the raindrop at the right place, the refraction separates the wavelengths out into their different colors.
We are taught there are seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo (靛蓝), and violet (紫色). But this isn’t exactly accurate. Blue and green are next to each other in the rainbow, which is why we can see blue. Brown is a mix of red and green. But they aren’t next to each other in the rainbow, so we don’t see them mix to make brown.
We would never see black and white in a rainbow. Black is what we see when there’s no light at all. On the other hand, white is a mix of all the colors together. When light is refracted by raindrops, it separates the white light out, meaning it is no longer white.
31. The underlined word “accurate” in the passage means “________”.
A. serious B. correct C. wrong
32. We can see a rainbow under the right conditions because ________.
A. the raindrops are like little balls
B. the sunshine seems to be colorful
C. the light goes through raindrops
33. According to the passage, what can we know about the colors in the rainbow?
A. They mix to make the white light.
B. There are only seven colors in all.
C. They can become brown or black.
34. In the third paragraph (段落), the underlined word “they” refers to (指的是) ________.
A. red and green B. blue and green C. the seven colors
35. What’s the best title for the passage?
A. How are the colors formed in the rainbow?
B. Which colors aren’t covered with light in the rainbow?
C. Why can’t we find white, black and brown in the rainbow?
31. B 32. C 33. A 34. A 35. C
根据第三段首句“We are taught there are seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.”以及后文“Blue and green are next to each other in the rainbow, which is why we can see blue. Brown is a mix of red and green. But they aren’t next to each other in the rainbow, so we don’t see them mix to make brown.”
根据第一段最后一句“This is because a rainbow is created by light passing through water drops.” C“the light goes through raindrops(光线穿过雨滴)”符合语境。
根据第四段中的“On the other hand, white is a mix of all the colors together. When light is refracted by raindrops, it separates the white light out, meaning it is no longer white.” 故选A。
根据第三段中的“Brown is a mix of red and green. But they aren’t next to each other in the rainbow, so we don’t see them mix to make brown.” 故选A。

You might think that the ocean is the only place in nature to find sea life. However, on some beaches in the northeastern United States, you might see sea life in tide pools (潮水潭).
In fact, many different kinds of plants and animals live in tide pools. One thing they have in common is that they must be strong. It is not easy to live in an environment that changes so often.
High-level (高水位) tide pools are shallow (浅的). They are the most difficult kind of pools for sea life to live in. The sun causes some of the water in these shallow pools to dry up. That also makes the water even saltier than the ocean. On the other hand, when there is a lot of rain, high-level pools can lose much of their saltiness. This can also make it difficult for sea life to live in.
It is a bit easier for sea life to live in mid-level tide pools. The water is deeper there and the tide washes over them several times a day so they don’t get too dry.
Low-level tide pools often have forests of kelp (巨藻). Kelp gives a home to sea animals or serves as food for many kinds of sea animals, such as small fish.
