Talk with your partner about how to make flashcards with imperative sentences.
A: Let’s cut cards out of pieces of paper with a pair of scissors. Then
write some words or a sentence on each card.
B: OK. What should I do next?/What else can I do?
A: Draw a picture to show the words or sentence on the other side of
the card. Look at the picture and try to say what is on the other side.
B: Is that finished?
A: Yes. Please don’t give up. Keep trying and you will find you can
remember things better.

We might find the instructions difficult to understand. We had better read them carefully or ask someone for help. Another problem could be running out of materials. To avoid this, we should check our materials before starting and buy some if needed.

You should plan your job carefully before starting. You should not rush, and you should take your time to do it right. You had better know how the tools work before you use them. You should ask for help if you feel unsure about any step. You should not forget to clean up after finishing your job. You had better not give up if something goes wrong—learn from your mistakes!
Thank you!
