Step 1. Listening
(1) Free talk. Ask about students’ holiday activities.

(2) Work on 2a. Listen with your books closed.(学生不看课本,通过听录音获取对话的主要信息)
· Who are the speakers?
· How did they spend their holidays? Did Adam / Peter go anywhere interesting?
(3) Work on 2a. Listen again and complete the conversation.(听前翻开书并大声朗读活动2a的方框中列出的六个句子,确保学生理解这些句子的意思)TIPS: 听录音时,只填句子的字母代码;核对答案时,再将语句抄写到相应的横线处,将对话补充完整。为后续开展阅读活动提供便利。

Peter: It was fantastic.

Step 5 Oral practice
(1) Work on 2e. Tick the words that you did during summer holiday.
Eg. My summer holiday was because I went somewhere interesting.
(2) Work on 2f. Share your summer holiday experience with a partner.
