The Power of Friendship
Good morning, everyone! The topic of my speech is “The Power of Friendship”. It is universally
acknowledged that friends are necessary for us.
As far as I’m concerned, a good friend is my nearest relation. What should we do to make good friends? First, admiring our friends is a good way to promote friendship, so we should pay more attention to our friends’ strengths. In addition, friends should treat each other with sincerity. As long as we sincerely treat every friend, then our friends will also be true to us!
I hold a strong belief that friends will make our life more colorful and wonderful.
第二节(满分25分)
Just at the moment the two girls were furthering their argument, their music teacher, Ms. Johnson, came up.
With a stern yet compassionate look, she stepped between them. “Stop this nonsense right now,” she said firmly. After listening to their heated explanations, Ms. Johnson reminded them that the talent show was a celebration of unity, not a battlefield for personal gain. She proposed a brilliant solution: Amy could perform a soulful solo during a key emotional moment in Lily’s drama. The girls stared at each other, stunned at first, but then a spark of excitement lit up in their eyes as they saw the potential of this collaboration.
Quickly, the day of the performance arrived. The auditorium was abuzz with anticipation. When Amy and
Lily’s act was announced, the crowd fell silent. As Amy’s powerful voice filled the air, perfectly synchronizing with the actors’ movements on stage, it was as if magic had been created. The seamless blend of music and drama left the audience spellbound. When the final note faded, the room erupted in thunderous applause. Amy and Lily, teary-eyed, embraced tightly, knowing that their friendship had not only survived but thrived through this unforgettable experience.

第二部分 阅读(共两节, 满分50分)
第一节(共15小题;每小题2.5分, 满分37.5分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
A
The key to a happy life has nothing to do with getting ahead at work, making money, or traveling the world. Instead, living your best life and creating meaning are all about one thing: relationships.
A study of adult development has been running at Harvard since 1938, and is now on its second generation of participants — the children of the original study’s subjects. Over decades, the research team have collected data about their lives, including their physical and mental health, marital status and quality, career happiness, and more.
They found the most important factor in how happy and healthy these men were over time was their relationships. In other words, finding happiness in life is all about the people you love.
The research doesn’t only include romantic relationships and marriage. Quality, close relationships are important whether they are in the context of romantic relationships or closeness between friends or family members. The kind of relationship you have is less important than how close you feel with them.
However, the study only included men, and there’re important gender differences in how people experience relationships. Some research suggests that men may benefit more from marriage. But they tend to have a harder time keeping friendships; as men get older, they are more likely to say they have nobody to discuss important subjects with. So it’s possible that having close relationships throughout their lives might affect men differently from women.
However, the findings line up with empirical(以试验为依据的)research on the effects of loneliness. People who are socially isolated have a greater likelihood of strokes(中风), heart attacks, and higher blood pressure, not to mention mental health issues.
Unfortunately for the youngest generation, recent surveys found that young Americans are lonelier than older generations. That will likely have a big impact on how healthy and happy people feel throughout their lives.
21. What lesson can we learn from this passage?
A. Travel far and wide to learn a lot.
B. Keep an open mind to be creative.
C. Treasure your time with your loved ones.
D. Work hard to be the best of your profession.
22. Why is the youngest generation unfortunate?
A. Because they have nobody to talk to.
B. Because they are more socially isolated.
C. Because they can’t keep their relationships.
D. Because they suffer physically and mentally.
23. What is the best title for the passage?
A. Close Relationships Make a Happy Life
B. Men Look Forward to Close Relationships
C. Close Relationships Ensure People’s Health
D. Men and Women Differ in Keeping Relationships
B
It was my first year teaching in a special needs classroom, and I wasn’t sure what to expect at our annual Special Track and Field Meet. My students had a range of challenges, from mild learning disabilities to severe cerebral palsy(大脑性麻痹).
Mark was one with the latter. Having to sit in a motorized wheelchair, he had to fight his spasms(痉挛)just to control his movements. Nevertheless, he always had a positive attitude and greeted everyone each morning with a huge smile.
His classmates loved him and always took the time to make sure he was included in group activities, especially Mike, Andy and Lucas, three boys who excelled at sports. In his heart I knew Mark wanted to be like them, unrestricted by the limitations of his body, and watching the grace with which they moved on the playing field seemed to fill him with wonder.
When track and field day came, Mike, Andy and Lucas placed well in their heats. Mark sat on the sidelines, cheering them on, placing last in his own heat because his wheelchair wouldn’t go fast enough.
The final event of the day was the 400-meter race. Everyone was invited to either walk or run, according to their ability, around the entire length of the track. We watched as the sprinters(短跑健将)took off—Mike, Andy and Lucas determined to prove who the best athlete was.
But when the exhausted boys reached the finish line they paused and turned to look behind them. At the back of the crowd, determined not to be left behind, was Mark. His classmates had passed him by and even the slowest walkers were outdistancing him. He was alone on the track with over half the distance left to cover.
Mike, Andy and Lucas looked at each other, and a silent thought passed between them. Slowly, they jogged back towards their friend, where they slowly enfolded Mark in a tight circle and kept pace, cheering him on as he had done for them moments before.
The progress was slow, but in the end the three star sprinters and Mark crossed the finish line together to the enthusiastic cries of their teachers and classmates. Seeing the look on Mark’s face as he crossed the finish line, hands upraised and laughing, I came to understand what makes the Special Track and Field Meet, and the determined athletes who compete, so extraordinary.
Years later, I’m still cheering them on.
24. Which word can best describe Mark?
A. Lonely. B. Strong-minded. C. Unfortunate. D. Unsociable.
25. The underlined part “excelled at” in paragraph 3 means ________.
A. majored in B. showed interest in C. had limitation on D. were skilled in
26. Why did Mike, Andy and Lucas enfold Mark in a tight circle?
A. To help Mark win the race. B. To show their spirit as a team.
C. To give shouts of encouragement to Mark. D. To answer the enthusiastic cries of the audience.
27. What does the story mainly convey?
A. Kindness and diligence. B. Bravery and generosity.
C. Selflessness and responsibility. D. Friendship and determination.

Olivia and I became instant friends in a writing class many years ago. I made a joke about a poorly crafted story. While others just stared blankly, Olivia laughed. That moment marked the beginning of our bond. It’s an example of how friendship often forms unexpectedly.
Recent research reveals that the development of closeness is actually more complex. Sociologists and psychologists have identified delicate but profound factors that draw people together, and even determine what defines a “best friend.” These interactions are extremely small but important; they are the “dark matter” of friendship.
Closeness and routine encounters lay the foundation for friendship. A classic study has shown that people often befriend those who they regularly interact with—neighbors, colleagues or classmates. However, physical closeness alone isn’t enough. Shared interests like hobbies or humor spark connections. In reality, true friendship blossoms when we go deeper and open up to each other.
Self-disclosure marks the shift from casual acquaintance to true friendship. A simple “Can I talk to you for a minute?” might initiate a deeper connection. As Sociologist Beverley Fehr explains in her book Friendship Processes, transforming from acquaintanceship to friendship involves gradually sharing more personal information. It’s a reciprocal(互惠的)process: one person opens up, and the other responds in kind.
Reciprocity is the most decisive in developing friendship. When I started my first job in a bookstore, I grew close to an assistant. Almost every day we shared lunch with each other and bonded while working for a difficult boss. However, when she moved to a new job, our relationship began to change. I started sharing more about my personal life, but she never did the same. Eventually, our lunches petered out to once a month, before she drifted out of my life for good. I was eager to tell her my problems, but she was unwilling to share hers. The necessary reciprocity was missing, so our acquaintanceship never tipped over into friendship.
28. Why is Olivia mentioned in paragraph 1?
A. To show a keen interest in writing.
B. To describe a mixed reaction to a joke.
C. To initiate the topic of friendship formation.
D. To illustrate the importance of humour sense.
29. What does “dark matter” in paragraph 2 mean?
A. Conflict-free social factors. B. Simple yet close connections.
C. Non-light-emitting materials. D. Minute but significant interactions.
30. What stopped the author developing friendship with the assistant?
A. The author’s talkative personality. B. The company’s tight schedule.
C. The assistant’s unresponsive behavior. D. The boss’s unpleasant character.
31. What contributes most to a true friendship?
A. Regular meeting. B. Mutual openness.
C. Common ground. D. Comfortable distance.
D
Who are your best friends on campus? Are they the ones you encountered most often in class? Are they your fellows in drama club or debate society? Something that has to influence whether people become friends is simple physical proximity. And, in fact, the most lasting friendships are developed between people whose paths cross frequently.
A number of studies have demonstrated the effects of proximity on who become friends. One was conducted at MIT in the 1940s. The incoming students were randomly assigned to 17 ten-unit apartment buildings that were isolated from other residential areas, and few of them knew one another beforehand.
The investigators asked each resident to name the three people in the student housing project with whom they socialized most often. The effect of proximity was striking: two-thirds of those listed as friends lived in the same building as the respondent, even though those in the same building represented only 5 percent of the target residents. More striking still was the pattern of friendships within each building. Even though the physical distance between apartments was quite small—19 feet between the doorways of neighboring apartments and 89 feet between those at the ends of each hallway—41 percent of those living in neighboring apartments listed each other as friends, compared with only 10 percent of those living at opposite ends of the hallway.
Proximity leads to friendship because it facilitates chance encounters. If so, then pure physical distance should matter less than functional distance—the influence of an architectural layout to encourage or discourage contact between people. The MIT study shows just how important functional distance is. As the following Figure indicates, the stairs are positioned such that upstairs residents will encounter the occupants of apartments at the turn of the stairs much more often than the occupants of the middle apartments. And in fact, the residents of the two stair-end apartment formed twice as many friendships with their upstairs neighbors as those living in the middle apartments.
Figure of the MIT Study
Thus, it’s functional distance more than physical distance that is decisive. Proximity promotes friendship because it brings people together. Actually, in later studies involving more diverse populations, the largest effects of proximity on friendship formation have been found between people of different races, ages, or social classes.
32. What can be concluded from the MIT study?
A. Friends play an important role in one’s daily life.
B. Frequency of encounters decides the living distance.
C. People with shared interests are more likely to befriends.
D. The more often two people meet, the closer their relationship is.
33. What method did the MIT researchers employ in their study?
A. Case study. B. Recording analysis.
C. In-lab observation. D. Online questionnaire.
34. Which apartment’s residents in the Figure above may make most friends in the building?
A. Apartment 1. B. Apartment 2.
C. Apartment 6. D. Apartment 7.
35. Why did researchers carry out later studies?
A. Previous study results are contradictory.
B. Previous study methods lack scientific support.
C. The sample in the previous study is not representative.
D. The data in the previous study are not up-to-date enough.
第二节(共5小题;每小题2. 5分, 满分12. 5分)
阅读下面短文, 从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
When I think of my friends, I am mostly filled with love and warmth: I simply can’t wait to see them again for their affection and support. ___36___ In the right mood, these individuals can deliver a fun-filled evening, but at the wrong moment, they can drain(耗尽)all my goodwill.
If this sounds familiar, then you too have frenemies, who psychologists call “ambivalent relationships”. These love-hate relationships could include a friend, a parent, a colleague or even a husband or wife. Their ambivalence can come in many forms. ___37___ It could be a partner love-bombing you one day, but fiercely critical the next, leaving you unsure about their true feelings.
___38___ At the very least, you would expect them to be better for us than our aversive(令人厌恶的)relationships. Unfortunately, research suggests things aren’t so simple. A team at the University of Utah asked people to take a reaction-time test and they found that rapidly flashing the name of an ambivalent connection on a screen intensified stress response of participants. Another study at Brigham Young University found that simply knowing an ambivalent connection was nearby as participants prepared to give a speech was enough to send their blood pressure rocketing. ___39___
Cutting ties with our ambivalent connections isn’t always possible or desirable if they are deeply mixed into our social network. So, what can be done? Simply being aware of the ambivalent nature of a relationship might offer some protection. We can manage our expectations and mentally prepare ourselves for the mixed feelings when interacting with frenemies. ___40___ As importantly, be a little more mindful of any interactions with all our ties. Show others the appreciation and respect we feel for them, for accidental neglect could be taken as a sign of indifference.
A. It might be a friend who is often unavailable when you need his support.
B. We might hope that in such relationships, the good would outweigh the bad.
C. In fact, even unconscious reminders of a frenemy can break our peace of mind.
D. This allows us to focus on their good qualities and show empathy for the unpleasant ones.
E. If you feel someone too negative a presence in your life, you may decide to cut off contact.
F. A handful, however, stimulate quite different emotions—a mixture of eagerness and anxiety.
G. After all, the benefits of social connection come from feeling well understood and supported.

At Sunshine Middle School, the yearly talent show was one of the most anticipated events of the year. Students spent months getting ready, practicing various acts, from singing and dancing to magic shows and comedy. This year, the show was set to be the greatest ever, and everyone was filled with excitement—except for Amy and Lily.
Amy was famous for her outstanding singing voice, while Lily was the leader of the school drama club. They had been best friends since primary school, but this year, there was a hidden tension between them. Amy wanted to do a solo performance for the show, while Lily believed that the drama club should present their group play. Their conflict grew as they tried to gain support from their classmates.
On the day of the try-out for the talent show, posters promoting the event were put up all over the school. However, the next morning, they disappeared mysteriously. Teachers and students were puzzled, and rumors spread rapidly that someone had deliberately damaged the event to give an advantage to their favored act. Amy thought Lily might be responsible, believing that her friend was trying to weaken her chances. At the same time, Lily suspected that Amy was trying to steal the spotlight.
The situation reached a critical point when the two girls faced each other in the school cafeteria. “You think I would do such a mean thing? I’m just trying to make our play stand out!” Amy shouted, her anger clear. “I’m trying to follow my dream of performing! Why can’t you just support me?” Lily shot back, her voice full of emotion. Their argument drew the attention of their friends, and soon everyone was whispering. Their friendship had always been built on support and understanding, but their competition had overshadowed that connection.

【原文】
W: Can you believe what Tom did? He was kind of rude at our last gathering over the weekend...
M: Linda, maybe you shouldn’t be so hard on Tom.
He was having a really bad day because his favorite team just lost in the championships.
W: I can understand how difficult that would be, but I don’t think it gives him the right to upset everyone else.
M: I agree. But Tom has never been very good at dealing with things like that. Remember when his dog Max ran away? He got upset after school and just walked home by himself. He forgot all about our drama club meeting. But then he felt really bad afterwards and apologized.
W: Joe, what are you saying?
M: I’m just saying it would help if we were a little more forgiving. Wouldn’t you want someone to be understanding if you were having a bad day?
W: I guess so. And now that I think about it, there was that time when I lost all my computer files and Tom helped me get them all back. I had completely forgotten about that. He worked on it for hours.
M: See? He can be very thoughtful when he wants to be.
W: Let’s go to Tom’s house so we can put this behind us. What’s his house number, again?

W: Lisa is my best friend. She moved to Chicago from London with her family at a very young age. We first met when we were both just five years old. Her family lived next to mine and we became friends as soon as we knew each other. We went to the same kindergarten and always played together.
Now twelve years has passed, we have been friends all these years and we are still neighbors. However, at the beginning of this year, I found that Lisa didn’t hang out with me as much as before. When I asked her to hang out with me, she said she was busy. One day I asked her to go to a movie with me, but she said she had to study for an exam at home.
However, later that day, I saw her walking on the street with another girl. I became angry, ran up to her and asked her why she lied to me. That night, Lisa apologized. She said she wanted to make more friends. She didn’t tell me the truth because she was afraid she’d break my heart. After knowing the reason, I told her it was alright. Everyone needs new friends. I have also made some new friends. Now Lisa and I are still good friends, but we both have more friends than before.

【答案】28. C 29. D 30. C 31. B
【语篇解读】本文是一篇说明文,主要探讨友谊形成的复杂因素,包括偶然相遇、共同兴趣、自我表露和互惠行为等,并通过个人经历和理论研究说明真正友谊的关键条件。
28. 推理判断题。根据文章第一段中“That moment marked the beginning of our bond. It’s an example of how friendship often forms unexpectedly.(那一刻标志着我们友谊的开始,它是友谊如何意外形成的例证)”等内容可推知,提到Olivia是为了引出友谊形成的主题,故选C。
29. 词句猜测题。根据文章第二段中“These interactions are extremely small but important; they are the ‘dark matter’ of friendship.(这些互动极其微小但重要,它们是友谊的“dark matter”)”可推知“dark matter”指的上文提到的这些微小但是很重要的互动,故选D。
30. 细节理解题。根据文章第五段中“I started sharing more about my personal life, but she never did the same. Eventually, our lunches petered out to once a month, before she drifted out of my life for good. I was eager to tell her my problems, but she was unwilling to share hers. The necessary reciprocity was missing, so our acquaintanceship never tipped over into friendship.(我开始更多地分享我的个人生活,但她却从未这样做。最终,我们的午餐聚会逐渐减少到每月一次,直到她彻底从我的生活中消失。我渴望向她倾诉我的烦恼,但她却不愿分享她的心事。由于缺乏必要的互惠,我们的关系始终未能发展为真正的友谊)”可知,助理的不回应行为阻碍了友谊发展,故选C。
31. 推理判断题。根据文章第四段中“Self-disclosure marks the shift from casual acquaintance to true friendship. A simple “Can I talk to you for a minute?” might initiate a deeper connection. As Sociologist Beverley Fehr explains in her book Friendship Processes, transforming from acquaintanceship to friendship involves gradually sharing more personal information. It’s a reciprocal(互惠的)process: one person opens up, and the other responds in kind.(自我表露标志着从泛泛之交到真正友谊的转变。一句简单的“能和你聊一分钟吗?”就可能开启更深层的连接。正如社会学家贝弗莉·费尔在《友谊的形成》一书中所述,从相识到友谊的转化需要逐步分享更私人的信息。这是一个互惠的过程:一方敞开心扉,另一方也会以同样方式回应)”和第五段中“Reciprocity is the most decisive in developing friendship(互惠是发展友谊最决定性的因素)”可推知,相互敞开心扉对友谊最关键,故选B。
【答案】32. D 33. A 34. A 35. C
【语篇解读】本文是说明文。文章详细介绍了麻省理工学院在1940年代进行的一项关于物理距离如何影响人际关系形成的研究,特别是对友谊发展的影响。
32. 细节理解题。由文章第一段中“Something that has to influence whether people become friends is simple physical proximity. And, in fact, the most lasting friendships are developed between people whose paths cross frequently.(影响人们是否成为朋友的因素很简单,那就是身体距离。事实上,最持久的友谊是在道路经常交叉的人们之间建立起来的)”可知,两个人见面的次数越多,他们的关系就越亲密,故选D。
33. 推理判断题。由文章第二段中“One was conducted at MIT in the 1940s. The incoming students were randomly assigned to 17 ten-unit apartment buildings that were isolated from other residential areas, and few of them knew one another beforehand.(其中一项是20世纪40年代在麻省理工学院进行的。新入学的学生被随机分配到17栋10单元的公寓楼里,这些公寓楼与其他居民区隔离开来,他们中很少有人事先认识彼此)”和第三段中“The effect of proximity was striking: two-thirds of those listed as friends lived in the same building as the respondent, even though those in the same building represented only 5 percent of the target residents. More striking still was the pattern of friendships within each building. Even though the physical distance between apartments was quite small —19 feet between the doorways of neighboring apartments and 89 feet between those at the ends of each hallway — 41 percent of those living in neighboring apartments listed each other as friends, compared with only 10 percent of those living at opposite ends of the hallway.(距离的影响是惊人的:被列为朋友的人中有三分之二与被调查者住在同一栋楼里,尽管住在同一栋楼里的人只占目标居民的5%。更引人注目的是每栋楼里的友谊模式。尽管公寓之间的物理距离很小——相邻公寓的门道之间只有19英尺,走廊两端的门道之间只有89英尺——但住在相邻公寓的人中有41%的人把彼此列为朋友,而住在走廊两端的人中只有10%的人这样做)”可知,麻省理工学院的研究人员通过对这些学生的案例研究进行的,故选A。
34. 推理判断题。由文章第四段中“As the following Figure indicates, the stairs are positioned such that upstairs residents will encounter the occupants of apartments at the turn of the stairs much more often than the occupants of the middle apartments. And in fact, the residents of the two stair-end apartment formed twice as many friendships with their upstairs neighbors as those living in the middle apartments.(如下图所示,楼梯的位置使得楼上的住户在楼梯拐弯处遇到公寓住户的次数要比中间公寓的住户多得多。事实上,住在两层楼上公寓的人与楼上邻居的友谊是住在中间公寓的人的两倍)”可以推断出,住在1号公寓的居民可能在公寓里交到最多的朋友,因为他们在楼梯转弯处更容易遇到其他公寓的居民,故选A。
35. 推理判断题。由文章最后一段中“Actually, in later studies involving more diverse populations, the largest effects of proximity on friendship formation have been found between people of different races, ages, or social classes.(事实上,在后来涉及更多不同人群的研究中,发现距离对友谊形成的最大影响发生在不同种族、年龄或社会阶层的人之间)”可知,之前的研究样本可能不具有代表性,因此需要进行更深入的研究,故选C。
【答案】36. F 37. A 38. B 39. C 40. D
【语篇解读】本文是一篇说明文。文章主要讲述了人际关系中的爱恨交织现象及其应对策略。
36. 上文“When I think of my friends, I am mostly filled with love and warmth: I simply can’t wait to see them again for their affection and support.(当我想到我的朋友时,我大多充满了爱和温暖:我迫不及待地想再次见到他们,得到他们的关爱和支持)”说明作者想到朋友时,大多充满了爱和温暖。结合下文“In the right mood, these individuals can deliver a fun-filled evening, but at the wrong moment, they can drain(耗尽)all my goodwill.(心情好的时候,这些人能让我度过一个充满乐趣的夜晚,但心情不好的时候,他们会耗尽我所有的善意)”推知,空处和前文为转折关系,说明有些朋友给作者带来的是不同的感受。F项中的However表示转折,“stimulate quite different emotions”与上文的“filled with love and warmth”形成对比,说明有些朋友会激起不同的情感。所以F项“然而,有少数人激起了截然不同的情感——渴望和焦虑的混合体”符合语境,故选F。
37. 上文“Their ambivalence can come in many forms.(他们的矛盾心理可能以多种形式出现)”说明他们的矛
盾心理有多种表现形式。空处承接上文,举例说明矛盾心理的一种表现形式。A项“可能是一个在你需要他支持时却经常不在身边的朋友”符合语境,故选A。
38. 下文“At the very least, you would expect them to be better for us than our aversive(令人厌恶的)
relationships. (至少,你会期望他们比我们厌恶的关系对我们更好)”说明人们期望这种爱恨交织的关系能带来一些好处。B项中的“We might hope”与下文的“you would expect”相呼应,“the good would outweigh the bad”与下文的“better for us than our aversive relationships”相契合。所以B项“我们可能希望在这样的关系中,好的一面会超过坏的一面”符合语境,故选B。
39. 上文“Another study at Brigham Young University found that simply knowing an ambivalent connection was
nearby as participants prepared to give a speech was enough to send their blood pressure rocketing.(杨百翰大学的另一项研究发现,当参与者准备演讲时,仅仅知道一个爱恨交织的人就在附近,就足以让他们的血压飙升)”说明即使是无意识的提醒也会让人血压升高。C项中的“even unconscious reminders”与上文的“simply knowing”相呼应,“break our peace of mind”与上文的“send their blood pressure rocketing”相契合,进一步说明这种关系的影响。所以C项“事实上,即使是无意识地想起一个爱恨交织的人,也会打破我们的平静”符合语境,故选C。
40. 上文“We can manage our expectations and mentally prepare ourselves for the mixed feelings when
interacting with frenemies.(在与爱恨交织的人交往时,我们可以管理自己的期望,并在心理上为这种复杂的情感做好准备)”说明我们可以管理自己的期望,为复杂的情感做好准备。D项中的“This allows us”承接上文,“focus on their good qualities and show empathy for the unpleasant ones”与上文的“manage our expectations and mentally prepare ourselves”相契合,说明这样做的好处。所以D项“这让我们能够关注他们的优点,并对不愉快的方面表示同情”符合语境,故选D。

67.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;
2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
Paragraph 1:
Just at the moment the two girls were furthering their argument, their music teacher, Ms. Johnson, came up.

Paragraph 2:
Quickly, the day of the performance arrived. _________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
【答案】

②由第二段首句“很快,表演的日子到了”可知,第二段可描写表演当天的氛围,Amy和Lily合作表演的精彩过程,以及表演结束后两人重归于好的温馨场景。

27. What does the story mainly convey?
A. Kindness and diligence. B. Bravery and generosity.
