Look and Say
Peter and his friends had a wonderful time in the new house, but the party left the place quite messy. What chores need to be done to make the house clean and tidy?
do the dishes
sweep the floor
clean the kitchen
put away things
wipe the table
Peter was too tired to do the chores alone so he decided to ask his family for help. Let’s make up conversations using Can/Could between Peter and his family in pairs.
Pair Work
Mum, could you please help me do the dishes?
Sorry, Peter. I have to take out the rubbish and then take the dog for a walk.
Could I do the dishes later? I am tired and I want to take a break.
Of course, you can.
