Teaching Reflection
This lesson effectively engaged students through personal photo-sharing at first. Analyzing Gina's story enhanced their understanding of narrative structure and descriptive language. Peer feedback during writing encouraged collaborative learning and critical thinking. However, some comments were vague like “good job”. Providing students with a rubric or checklist for constructive feedback would enhance its effectiveness and lead to more meaningful revisions.
