Period 1 Section A How do you greet people?
一、教材分析
What: 本课时主要包含三部分,第一部分介绍打招呼的日常用语;第二部分介绍在课堂中不同的场景下该如何向别人问好及回应别人的问候;第三部分是26个字母的发音及书写和常见的缩略词。
Why: 通过本节课的学习帮助学生学习如何用英语打招呼,问候别人,学会基本的交际礼仪,同时学会如何正确的发字母 Aa~Zz的读音,如何正确的书写这些字母以及生活中常见的缩略词,为之后的英语学习奠定基础。
How: 首先通过一幅学生们在学校门口打招呼的图片引入话题,介绍常见的问候语,并熟悉教材中出现的名字。再通过不同场景下不同人物的对话转换,使学生进一步熟悉并掌握各种问候语。通过听、说、写26个大小写字母及键盘上26个字母的位置来熟悉26个字母,并通过图片认识缩略词。
二、教学内容
1. 26个字母的顺序,读音及书写。
2. 本课时的重点单词,短语和句子。
3. 一些简单的英文名字及中因为名字之间的差异。
4. 常见的缩略词及其含义。
三、教学目标
【知识与技能】
1. 掌握26个字母的顺序,发音及书写。
2. 掌握以下重点单词及短语:
greet、everyone、each other、good morning、hello、PRC、PLA、VR、WHO、UN
3. 掌握下列句型:
Good morning, Ms Gao. What’s your name?Nice to meet you.
【情感、态度与价值观】
通过互相问候,加深同学之间的联系,帮助同学之间保持良好的人际关系,同时让学生学会如何礼貌地问候他人,培养学生对英语的学习兴趣和提升学生学习的主动性。
四、教学重难点
重点:有目的地梳理并使用打招呼用语,并注意交际过程中的语音语调;英语字母的发音及规范书写。
难点:纠正字母的中式发音

图片,音乐,多媒体等。
六、教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in
1. Play an English song Hello! and then ask students sing along with the song.
2. T: Now let’s practice. If I say hello, what should you say?
Ss: Hello.
T: Great. Now I say hello, you say hello, Okay?Hello.
Ss: Hello.
T: If I say hello, you can also say hi. Now I say hello you say hi. Hello.
Ss: Hi
3. Practice “Good morning” in the same way.
【设计意图】以歌曲的方式导入,让学生跟唱并练习常见问候语,通过互动,提升学生的参与感,同时激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step 2 Pre-listening
1. Work on 1a.
(1)Show the picture in 1a and let students circle the names in the picture.
(2)Ask students match the names with the faces.
(3)Sort out the English names and Chinese names and tell the differences among them.
(4)Show the different pictures of the students and let students greet them.
2. Work on 1b.
Ask students greet each other.
【设计意图】导入主题,激活学生关于问候的词汇,通过单元主题图片的复现帮助学生感知并练习对话内容。
Step 3 While-listensing
1. Work on 2a
Let students listen to the recording and repeat the letters.
2. Work on 2b
(1)Let students listen to the recordings again an circle the letters they hear in 2a.
(2)Check the answers: b; c; g; h; j; l; n; q; r; v; x; z
3. Work on 2c
(1)Let students read the conversations in 2c and then predict the contents i the blankets.
(2)Let the students listen to three conversations and fill in the blanks.
(3)Check the answers: 1. D 2. A 3. B; C
4. Work on 2d
Let students finish the conversation in 2d and role play the conversation with partner.
5. Pronunciation
(1)Let students look the the keyboard in 1 and know about where the letters are in the keyboard.
(2)Work on 1.
Let students listen the 26 letters and their places in the keyboard then practise with the partner.
(3)Work on 2.
Let students listen to the letters and repeat.
Find out in which way the letters are sorted out.
(4)Work on 3.
Put some letters together and let students read them out aloud.
Listen to the letters in 3 and match them with the pictures.

Step 4 Post-listening
1. Work on 4.
Listen and watch the video and learn to sing the ABC song.
2. Students write 26 English in the English notebook and then choose the best one to show in the class.
3. Group work
Make a survey about different greetings in different countries and compare them with ours.
【设计意图】通过书写小比赛,规范学生字母的书写能力;同时通过感受不同国家的打招呼方式体会文化差异并提高交际能力。
