pair 用作可数名词, 意为“一对,一双”, 常与介词of连用,表示裤子、鞋子、袜子、眼镜、手套等由两个相同部分组成的物品的数量。pair(s) of后接名词作主语时谓语动词的数应根据 pair 的单复数来确定。

(2)“keep sb./sth.+宾补”意为“保持某人/某物......”
该结构中的宾补可由形容词、副词、动词 -ing 形式或介词短语充当。该句中的形容词 tidy 用作宾补,说明你的房间状态。
