As we all know, China is the home of tea. Last summer vacation, I took a trip to Mount Huangshan in Anhui with my parents. I never noticed the Chinese tea culture there before.
We arrived at the foot of the mountain in the afternoon, tired but excited. After a short rest, at first, the guide (导游) took us to a big farm where we learned about tea processing (加工). We were told that Shen Nong found out tea as a drink in ancient (古老的) times. Then in the evening, we paid a visit to a teahouse. Next, we watched a tea art show and also enjoyed the local green tea. We saw a young lady in a traditional Chinese dress who showed us how a cup of tea is made with tea sets. We really enjoyed it and relaxed ourselves. Finally, we listened to pieces of traditional folk music. There is no doubt that the Chinese are the ones who best understand the nature of tea.
Time went so fast there. Luckily, I learned a lot about tea culture. Through this journey, I have developed (发展) a better understanding (理解) of the country. I hope to experience more Chinese culture in the future.
