This is a video interview. An AI interviewer is on the screen. It asks:"From your
resume(),we know you took part in an activity;please talk about the role you
played in it.Unlike real people who would size you up in past interviews, this
interviewer's body movements still have a somewhat mechanical (feeling,so
you're not as nervous as before.
As AI technology gradually becomes wide-ranging,more and more companies start
using AI to improve recruitment()efficiency,handling tasks such as job matching,
intelligent interviews, etc. Some job seekers can also use AI tools for resume preparing,
interview practice,and instant feedback.
In the future, will HR(人力资源)be replaced? In response to the question,CEO Ye
Xiangyu believes:"As technology develops, the originally inefficient work of HR will be
made more efficient. In the vast field of human resources, after AI handles some tool-type
tasks,it can free up time for HR to accomplish more and more important other tasks.
Above all else,AI will likely extend the capabilities of HR professionals rather than
replacing them entirely.
Perhaps in the future, this industry will experience a brief period of growing pains,
but according to existing research data, the majority of job seekers still value human
decision-making in hiring processes.
For companies, seizing the AI opportunity and truly improving efficiency with AI
technology has become a test they must face. However, the road for AI to empower the
recruitment industry is still very long, with software development and technical
advancements continually evolving.AI offers guidelines, and downloading insights from
AI systems can enhance decision-making,but human's judgment remains important.

Parkinson's is a progressive brain disease which leads to shaky hands and slow
movement, and there is no cure.Tai Chi,a traditional Chinese martial art that combines
(slow, gentle movements with deep breathing and relaxation, may be an effective
means of reducing the suffering.Recently, the researchers say that those who practised
the martial art twice a week had fewer complications()and better quality of life
than those who didn't.Experts say the findings back up previous studies on the benefits of
exercise for those with Parkinson's.
The study, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, monitored the
health of hundreds of Parkinson's patients for up to five years. One group of 147 people
practised regular Tai Chi while another group of 187 did not.The researchers found that
the disease progressed more slowly in the Tai Chi group on measurements of symptoms
()movement and balance. This group also saw fewer falls, less back pain and
dizziness(),with memory and concentration problems also lower than in the other
group. At the same time, sleep and quality of life continuously improved.
Prof.Alastair Noyce,professor in neurology(神经学)and neuroepidemiology(神经流
行病学)at Queen Mary University of London,called it“an important study”-the
positive effects on aspects of motor()and non-motor functions are impressive-but
said there were limitations in its design, and more tests were needed.
"We already recommend Tai Chi,as well as other forms of exercise, but
understanding which forms of exercise are most beneficial is an important goal to improve
the long-term management of patients,"he said.
5.Why was the study conducted?
A.To find a cure for Parkinson's disease.
B.To improve the sleep quality of Parkinson's patients.
C.To remove the misunderstanding of the previous studies.
D.To research the benefits of Tai Chi for those with Parkinson's.
6.Which of the following is not the researchers'finding?
A.Concentration problem was lower in the Tai Chi group.
B.The disease progressed more slowly in the Tai Chi group.
C.Patients in the non-Tai Chi group continuously fell down.
D.Back pain and dizziness were relieved in the Tai Chi group.

Everyone knows that early to bed and early to rise is good for your health, but the
reality is that getting up late is the norm()for many of us.It takes a lot of willpower
to get out of bed early on a cold winter's day.9
Seek out as much natural light as possible.10 Jennifer Martin, president of the
board of directors for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, agrees with it firstly.
That's because natural light holds back melatonin,a chemical that plays an important role
in our bodies."The sun is the driver of our internal clock,"she says.
Ease in gradually.11 That's true, especially for some people like those who need
to drive long distances. In that case,Martin recommends gradually easing into the early-
bird life."What I'll suggest to people is to shift half an hour, wait a few days, shift
another half an hour, wait a few days, and then shift another half an hour, she says.
12 Becoming a morning person is a seven-day-a-week job.Decide what time
you're going to wake up every day.And stick to it without exception.
Plan something to look forward to.To force you out of bed,Martin suggests treating
yourself to something special you can enjoy first.13 "Now is the time to go buy your
favorite coffee or pick up some cakes to have when your alarm goes off at 5 am,she
says.
A.Hold on-even on weekends.
B.You're not worrying if you think of that.
C.Adjust yourself to the schedule in the evenings.
D.For this,we specially recommend a "painless early rise"guideline.
E.The secret to becoming a morning person is exposure to natural light.
F.Experts advise to cut back on how much exposure to bright light you're getting.
G.Those first few days of being tired from switching to a new schedule aren't safe.
