Enjoy the world, love our life
Ladies and gentlemen,
It’s a great honor for me to stand here and give my speech. The theme “Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles” always inspires me. Today, I want to share a trip to a small village last summer.
There, I walked on green fields, breathed fresh air, and tried homemade rice cakes—they were sweet and warm. I met an old grandma who told me stories about the village’s history. We picked vegetables together, and I learned how hard farmers work. This trip let me make new friends, know about rural culture, and open my mind to a different life.
Just like traveling, reading helps too. It gives stories and knowledge. So let’s read more and go outdoors often. They’ll make our hearts happy and our lives richer, helping us enjoy the world and love life more.
Thank you for your listening!
