Last Sunday witnessed an extraordinary cross-country running race, which nearly drew the attention of every student and teacher of our school.

An Impressive Mountain-Claiming
In order to help us students to keep fit and promote wills, our school organized a mountain-climbing on April 10 and we received much fun and benefit.
It was a nice day, the sunlight warm and soft.At round 9 a.m., we gathered at the foot of Daqing Mountain in high spirits, well-equipped for the tough journey to the destination-the top of the mountain. Despite the hardship, we were singing and laughing all the way, enjoying the the fresh air and the beautiful views. When some students fell behind or got into trouble, others would come to their aid. On April 10, Xingguang High School organized a mountain-climbing activity at Daqing Mountain, attracting over 250 students and 30 teachers.
Early in the morning, all participants gathered at the school gate and set off by bus. Upon arrival, a PE teacher gave safety tips, such as wearing non-slip shoes and staying in groups. During the climb, students helped each other carry light backpacks and shared water. When some felt tired, their classmates cheered them on.
