Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Lead-in and Prediction Teacher's Question: What are some clubs that you are interested in joining at school? Why? Purpose: To activate students' background knowledge and interest in school clubs. Step 2 Listening for the Gist (12 minutes) Listening Task: Students listen to three dialogues about choosing school clubs.
