Unit 2 《Helping at home》教案
第二课时(Speed up)
教学目标
1. 巩固与家务活动相关的词汇(如make the bed, clean the room, wash the dishes等)和句型(如 “Can I ...?”“Can you...?”);能运用目标语言进行对话。(语言能力)
2. 通过Yao Qinwen的故事,引导学生了解中国家庭文化中的互助和责任感等价值观。(文化意识)
3. 鼓励学生从不同角度分析Yao Qinwen的行为和品质,提出自己的见解,培养独立思考和判断的能力。(思维品质)
4. 通过小组活动,如角色分配、台词准备和表演等,培养学生的团队合作精神和协作能力。(学习能力)

Step 1 Warm-up & Revision
教师以热情的问候开场,拉近师生距离,营造轻松、友好的课堂环境。并提问“Did you do chores at home yesterday?”将所学知识贯穿运用于实际,引出新知。
1. 教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,作简单的Free talk。
T: Good morning, everyone!
Ss: Good morning, teacher!
T: Did you do chores at home yesterday?
Ss: Yes, I do.
T: Wonderful!
2. 教师播放歌曲《I Can Do It by Myself》,学生跟唱。
3. Revision.
(1)课件以游戏方式随机出示上节课所学关于家务的词组和图片,学生快速大声地说出对应的词组。
(2)学生两人一组,一人询问对方是否可以做某项家务劳动,另一人回答。例如:
A: Can you wash the clothes?
B: OK! Can you ...?
A: ...
Step 2 Presentation & Practice
细读任务要求学生聚焦第一幅图片的细节,通过填写表格,培养学生提取、整理和分析文本信息的能力。
将语音训练(语调、语速)与情感表达相结合,避免“为语音而语音”的机械训练,使学生在掌握语音技能的同时,提升语言的表现力和感染力。

1. Think and talk.(思考与交谈)
课件出示故事主人公的图片,引出主人公——Yao Qinwen。
T: Today, we’ll meet a girl named Yao Qinwen. Look at her family photo, who are they? Can you guess? Say out their names from the left to the right.
Ss: Yao Qinwen, Yao Qinwen’s mum, Yao Qinwen’s grandma and Yao Qinwen’s dad.
2. Read and fill.(完成阅读任务)
(1)教师先请学生略读故事,找出Yao Qinwen帮助了哪些家人。
T: Let’s read Yao Qinwen’s story. Who does she help?
Ss: Her dad, her grandma and her mum.
教师请学生细读故事的第一幅图片的内容,请学生完成表格内容。
T: Yao Qinwen helps her family. Why? What happened to her family? How is he/she? Let’s read Picture 1 and find out the answers.
教师请几名学生核对答案,其他学生进行判断。
T: How is Yao Qinwen’s dad?
S1: He is ill.
T: Right! How is her grandma?
S2: She is old.
T: Good job! How about her mum?
S3: She is busy.
T: Wonderful! So they all need help. What does Yao Qinwen say?
Ss: I must help!
(2)教师请学生阅读第2-6幅图片的内容,并继续完善表格的内容。
T: Yao Qinwen wants to help her family. How does Yao Qinwen help her family?
教师请几名学生核对答案,其他学生进行判断。
T: How does Yao Qinwen help her dad?
S1: She helps her dad make the bed.
T: Perfect! How does she help her grandma?
S2: She helps her grandma clean the room.
T: Good! How does she help her mum?
S3: She helps her mum wash the dishes.
3. Read and write. (练习活动)
学生再次阅读故事,完成对应的练习活动。
4. Listen and imitate. (跟读模仿活动)
(1)师生共同学习故事内容,教师帮助学生理解生词“sometimes”“feel”“tired”“helpful”“warm”“warm up”的含义。
(2)教师播放故事视频,学生跟读并模仿。教师提醒学生跟读模仿时需要注意的点:
①根据故事情境变化语调(如表达关心时语调柔和,提问时语调上扬)。
②慢速跟读熟悉内容后,逐步加速至原声语速,保持流畅性。
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension
角色扮演活动不仅能提高学生的口语能力,还能培养他们的合作精神和自信心。学生有机会应用所学语言,在真实情境中练习,从而加深理解和记忆。
小组讨论模式鼓励学生互听互评、补充观点,培养团队合作精神,同时通过同伴互动深化对人物品质的理解。
引导学生联系生活实际表达可以帮助家人做的家务事项,达到情感上的升华。
1. Work in groups. Act out the story.(表演故事)
(1)教师请学生分组说出关于主人公的信息如:She is a girl./ Her dad is ill./ Her grandma is old./ ...
(2)角色扮演。
①教师分发角色卡,上面写有每个角色的台词和动作提示。学生分组准备,熟悉台词和角色动作。
T: Now, each group will get a role card with your lines. Let’s assign roles: Yao Qinwen, Dad, Mom, Grandma, and a Narrator.
②学生分组讨论,分配角色,熟悉台词。可根据角色卡上的提示,自由发挥添加动作和表情。
③教师宣布表演开始,各小组依次上台表演。其他小组作为观众,认真观看并准备评价。
T: When I say “Action!”, the first group will start their performance. Remember to speak loudly and clearly, and use your body language!
④各小组按顺序上台表演,运用目标语言进行对话,展示家务活动的场景。
旁白角色介绍故事背景,引导观众进入情境。
⑤小组互评与教师点评。
T: Let’s give a big hand to all the groups! Now, let’s give feedback. What did you like about each group’s performance?
教师引导学生从语音语调、感情、肢体动作、发音及团队合作等方面进行评价。教师最后进行总结性点评,肯定优点,提出改进建议。
(3)师生共同复述故事内容:

(1)教师请学生思考并回答问题:What do you think of Yao Qinwen?

(2)教师分发讨论记录表,每组记录3个关键词和1个理由。
学生分组讨论,用目标句型和形容词描述Yao Qinwen。
记录员整理观点,准备全班分享。
(3)观点墙展示:在黑板或白板上画一棵“观点树”,每组分享时贴上写有形容词的“树叶”。
T: Let’s share our ideas! Each group will say one thing they think about Yao Qinwen. I’ll write your words on our “Opinion Wall”!
3. Activity.(联系自身反思)
T: Yao Qinwen is a great role model. How can you be like her when you’re at home? What can you do for your family?

教师请几名学生回答。
Step 4 Summary&Homework
1. 小结:师生共同回顾本课时学习的重点单词及句型。
2. 课后作业。
(1)抄写本课时重点词汇四遍。
(2)跟读故事部分的内容至少三遍。
(3)将本课时的故事讲给家人听,并谈谈自己的感悟。

教学反思
大部分学生在课堂上表现积极,能够主动参与角色表演、跟读模仿和小组讨论等活动。他们的口语表达能力和听力理解能力也得到了明显的提升。部分学生在角色表演中显得不够自信,发音和语调也存在一定的问题。此外,也有部分学生在小组讨论中缺乏主动性和创造性。
