Let students share their answers. Step 2: Listening & Comprehension Activity 1: Conversation Listening and Question Answering Play the conversation audio between Li Ming and Danny. Ask students to listen and answer questions A - D: · A: Where did Li Ming take the photos? (In Jiuzhaigou.) · B: Where does Danny plan to go for his vacation? (To the beach in Mexico.) · C: Who was Xu Xiake and what did he do? (He was a Chinese explorer in the Ming Dynasty. He loved exploring new places in China and wrote about his journeys in a book, The Travels of Xu Xiake.) · D: What does Danny suggest they do together? (Go on a trip together next year and travel around China with Li Ming and Jenny.) Check answers to ensure students grasp the main content of the conversation.
