While playing the song, show some pictures of people greeting each other on the PPT. After the song, ask students: "What's the most common word you heard in the song?" Guide them to answer "Hello". The teacher greets the students in English: "Hello, boys and girls. I'm your English teacher. Nice to meet you." At the same time, make a gesture of greeting and briefly explain the meaning of "I'm...". Then, encourage students to respond in English: "Hello, teacher. Nice to meet you too." Greet the students again with "Hi" and ask: "Hi, everyone. How are you today?" Guide students to understand the usage of "Hi" and try to answer with "I'm fine, thank you. And you?" B. Presentation (15 minutes) Word teaching Show word cards one by one, including "name", "teacher", "student", "friend", "hello", "hi", "I'm", "this is", "good morning", "good afternoon", "good evening". For each word, use different methods for teaching: Pronunciation demonstration: Read the word clearly, let students listen carefully and imitate. For example, when teaching "name", emphasize the pronunciation of "a" /eɪ/, and let students repeat /neɪm/ several times. Correct students' pronunciation errors in time. Picture display: For words like "teacher", "student", "friend", show relevant pictures on the PPT to help students understand the meaning visually. Sentence pattern teaching Write the sentence patterns on the blackboard: "Hello. / Hi." "Good morning/afternoon/evening." "I'm... / My name is..." "This is..." Explain the usage of each sentence pattern: "Hello" and "Hi" are common greetings, which can be used at any time of the day. "Good morning" is used to greet people in the morning, "Good afternoon" in the afternoon, and "Good evening" in the evening. "I'm..." and "My name is..." are used for self - introduction. "This is..." is used to introduce others. Give some examples for each sentence pattern and let students repeat after the teacher. For example: Hello. I'm Tom. Good morning. My name is Lily. This is my friend, Jack. C. Practice (15 minutes) Pair work Divide students into pairs. Let them practice greetings and self - introductions using the learned sentence patterns. For example, one student says: "Hello. I'm... What's your name?" The other answers: "Hi. My name is... Nice to meet you." Walk around the classroom to monitor and offer help if necessary. Group work Group students into groups of four. Give each group some role - playing cards, such as "teacher", "student", "new student", "friend". Let them create a short dialogue according to the roles, including greetings, self - introductions, and introductions of others. For example: Teacher: Good morning, class. Students: Good morning, teacher. Teacher: This is a new student. His name is Ben. Ben: Hello, everyone. I'm Ben. Nice to meet you. Students: Hi, Ben. Nice to meet you too. Each group selects a representative to come to the front of the class and perform the dialogue. After the performance, other students can ask questions or give comments. D. Production (5 minutes) Create a real - life situation. Suppose there are some foreign guests visiting the school. Let students act as hosts to greet and introduce themselves and their classmates or teachers to the guests. Encourage students to be creative and use as many learned sentence patterns and words as possible. Walk around the classroom to guide and support students during their performance. E. Summary and Homework (5 minutes) Summary Review the words and sentence patterns learned in this class with students. Ask questions like: "What words did we learn today?" "How do we greet others in English?" "How do we introduce ourselves and others?" Let students answer actively to reinforce their memory. Summarize students' performance in this class, affirm their efforts and progress, such as good pronunciation, active participation in group work, etc. Also, point out some existing problems, like incorrect usage of sentence patterns in some cases, and encourage students to improve in future learning. Homework Oral homework: Ask students to greet their family members in English when they get home and introduce themselves to a new neighbor (if possible) using the learned sentence patterns. Written homework: Let students write a short passage about themselves, including their name, age, school, and some of their friends. They should use at least three sentence patterns learned in this class. 教学反思 After this class, I think the overall teaching effect is good. The warming - up part successfully attracted students' attention and created a pleasant English - learning atmosphere. Through vivid song playing and simple greetings, students quickly got into the English - learning state. In the presentation part, using multiple teaching methods such as pronunciation demonstration and picture display made the word and sentence - pattern teaching more effective. Students showed a high level of enthusiasm and actively participated in the imitation and repetition. During the practice and production parts, pair work and group work provided students with sufficient opportunities to practice speaking English. They were able to apply the learned knowledge to real - life situations, which improved their language - using ability. However, some students still seemed a bit shy and nervous when speaking English, especially in front of the whole class. In future teaching, I will pay more attention to these students and give them more encouragement and guidance. For the summary and homework part, it effectively helped students review and consolidate what they had learned. The combination of oral and written homework can comprehensively train students' language skills. In general, this class achieved most of the teaching objectives, but there is still room for improvement in some aspects, and I will adjust my teaching methods and strategies accordingly in the following classes. 2 / 37 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
