Step1 Warm - up
- The teacher shows some pictures of following rules (like waiting in line) and not following rules (like running in the hallway) on the PPT.
- Ask students: "Do you follow rules?" "Why is it important to follow rules?"
- Let students discuss in pairs and then share their ideas.
Step2 Presentation
- Vocabulary Teaching:
- Show the word card "rule". Say: "A rule is something you should or should not do."
- Show the word card "accident". Say: "An accident is something bad that happens unexpectedly."
- Show the word card "careless". Say: "If you are careless, you don't pay enough attention."
- Show the word card "warn". Say: "To warn someone is to tell them about possible danger."
- Show the word card "training". Say: "Training is the act of learning or practicing for something."
- Let students read the words after the teacher and then read them by themselves.
- Sentence Teaching:
- Show the picture of a dangerous situation. Say:

Step3 Reading
Pre - reading:

While - reading:
