Unit 6 Eat Well-Over to you
This unit focuses on the theme of food and healthy eating. "Over to You" is the final part of the unit, which aims to consolidate students' language knowledge and skills learned in this unit, and encourage them to apply what they have learned in real - life situations. Students will review different kinds of food, learn some English sayings related to food, and share their experiences and ideas about food, especially during festivals. They will also have the opportunity to practice speaking, writing, and reading in the context of food culture.

Ability Aims Students can improve their listening ability by understanding dialogues and passages about food. Students can enhance their speaking ability by sharing their own experiences and opinions about food, especially during festivals. Students can develop their reading skills by reading texts related to food culture. Students can practice their writing skills by writing a short passage about their favorite festival food. 3. Emotional Aims Students can develop an interest in learning English through the topic of food, which is closely related to their daily life. 教学过程
1. Warming - up (5 minutes)
Greet the students as usual.
Show some pictures of different kinds of food on the PPT, such as pizza, hamburgers, dumplings, and fruits. Ask students to quickly say the English names of the food they see.
T: “Boys and girls, look at the pictures on the screen. What can you see? Please tell me the English names of these foods as quickly as possible.”
2. Revision (8 minutes)
Divide the students into groups of four. Ask each group to make a mind - map about food. They can include the names of food, food groups (such as grains, proteins, fruits, and vegetables), and cooking methods.
