一、教材分析
【What】
本课围绕 “联合国 —— 语言的力量” 展开,介绍了联合国的成立背景(二战后为帮助各国协商解决问题而非战争)、成员情况(193 个成员国,总部在纽约,有秘书长、安理会等),以及联合国在维护和平等方面的作用,还包含填写思维导图、演讲填空、项目任务(关于防止战争的演讲)等内容。
【Why】
让学生学习与联合国相关的英语表达,了解联合国的知识和意义,提升阅读理解、信息提取和英语交流(演讲)能力,培养学生的国际视野和和平意识。
【How】
以介绍联合国的文本为语篇内容,通过完成读、填空、演讲等任务,引导学生学习新词汇、句型,掌握国际组织相关的表达。
二、学情分析
学生对联合国有一定的认知基础,但对其具体结构和作用了解可能不足,用英语描述联合国和进行演讲存在困难。此阶段学生具备基础的英语阅读和交流能力,对国际话题感兴趣。本节课重难点在于理解文本中联合国的内容,能运用相关内容完成任务和进行英语演讲。

T: We all love peace and hate war. War brings suffering to people. How can we put an end to war? Imagine you are representing China at the United Nations.
