五、Teaching Procedures

Step 1: Warm-up

- Greet the students.

- Show a picture of rice and ask: "What do you know about rice? Where does it come from?" Let students share their answers.

Step 2: Pre-reading 

- Teach new words: "hybrid rice", "succeed in", "be known as" with simple explanations and examples.

eg ： This kind of product sells well. Is that so?
