It is home to the pandas and also famous for its diverse delicious food and snacks, so that it can suit everyone’s taste. Meanwhile, Chengdu is a modern city with a number of high-rise buildings and big shopping malls. As for traffic, there’re all means of transportation which are efficient and convenient. In recent years, four subway lines have been in use. The lifestyle here is relaxing and comfortable, leaving a deep impression on all the visitors. I do hope that some day you’ll come to visit this city.
67.One possible version:
After the game, I knew my dream of playing professional baseball was lost. I was depressed at the time about the loss of my dream. I talked with my coach Bob Ohm about my failure. He shared the way he became himself now and comforted. “There can be many kinds of dreams in life. As long as you never give up, you can have the chance to realize your dream. The key point is that you need to maximize your strengths and be who you really are.” Thinking of my coach’s words, I decided to continue to play and practise to achieve my next dream of being a baseball teacher in a school.
Today, I teach baseball in a high school. The relationships that I have enjoyed with the students and athletes through the years are things that no one can put a price tag on. Although my early dream to play baseball for the Tigers didn’t come true, it created a new dream for me to be a teacher. I am proud of what I am doing because I can help the young go beyond their dreams with my most positive influence on them.

Our culture is the system we use to build our identity. All living creatures are part of a culture. Even animals have a culture! So what is culture? It’s the way we behave in a group. It begins with each individual family. Within our families we do things to build relationships with each other. This can include routines like daily housework and weekly shopping. It also includes traditions. Traditions are activities that are repeated on a regular basis.
Culture is not limited to individual family groups. The real strength of culture is in larger community(社会) groups. These larger groups are called societies. Every society makes rules for itself. It decides how people should act in different situations. Some of these rules are written down. Some are just things that are automatically expected of all members of that society. Often, cultures can be identified(识别) by what the people believe. Cultures are also known by what they choose to include in their art. Sometimes a society forms around people who speak the same language. Cultures may also be known for their customs, including the foods they make and the things they do.
Our cultures help us understand who we are and what we believe. There are very strong emotions(情感) connecting us to our own society. Two different cultures may disagree on something, especially if they both feel strongly about it. When that happens, war is a common result. People are learning better ways to communicate with each other. The more we learn, the more we appreciate the differences in cultures.

Do you want to love what you do for a living? Follow your passion. This piece of advice provides the foundation for modern thinking on career satisfaction. But this can be a problem.
I’ve spent the past several years researching and writing about the different strategies we use to seek happiness in our work. It became clear early in the process that the suggestion to evidence. However, it passionate about your complicated. “follow your passion” was flawed, for it lacks scientific doesn’t mean you should abandon the goal of feeling work. The reality emphasizes that the things are quite.
Passion is earned. Different people are looking for different things in their work, but generally, people with satisfying careers enjoy some combination of the following features: autonomy, respect, competence, creativity, and a sense of impact. In other words, if you want to feel passionate about your livelihood, don’t seek the perfect job, but seek to get more of these features in the job you already have.
Passion is elusive (难捉摸的). Many people develop the rare and valuable skills leading to passion, but still end up unhappy in their work. The problem is that the features leading you to love your work are more likely to be useful to you than your organization. As you become increasingly “valuable”, for example, your boss might push you toward traditional promotions that come with more pay and more responsibility, as this is what is most useful to your company. However, you might find more passion by applying your value to gain autonomy in your schedule or project selection.
Passion is dangerous. I’ve watched too many of my peers fall into anxiety and chronic job-hopping due to the “follow your passion” advice. The issue is expectations. If you believe we all have a pre-existing passion, and that matching it to a job will lead to instant workplace happiness, reality will always pale in comparison.
Work is hard. Not every day is fun. If you’re seeking a dream job, you’ll end up frustrated, again and again. Don’t set out to discover passion. Instead, set out to develop it. This path might be longer and more complicated than what most cheerful career guides might advocate, but it’s a path much more likely to lead you somewhere worth going.

I grew up in southeastern Michigan. I was a fan of Detroit Tigers, a famous baseball team, as a young boy.
My childhood dream was to be like my hero, Al Kaline, and someday play for the Tigers. My Dad would take me to Tiger Stadium several times a year and my hero Al Kaline would never let me down. We never attended a game that he didn’t get at least one hit.
I was crazy about baseball. If there was a game in my high school, I was never absent. I kept practising so that I could achieve my dream of playing for the Tigers, and I was doing well at each level of play. Later, I got a chance to sign up for a strong American Legion baseball program. There I met our coach, Bob Ohm, who knew a lot of baseball and taught each of us the basics as well as more advanced baseball skills. With Bob Ohm’s help and my hard work, I had set new records in many baseball championships.
My dream to be like my hero seemed to draw near. One summer, I went up to play the final season in Marinette. There were scouts who came to find the best players. This was it! My big chance!
