In order for this play to work, we need everyone to help. Mrs. Blake is holding tryouts in the drama room after school. Music students are encouraged to see their teacher in the band room. This lunch hour, we are looking for people to work on the stage crew. If you would like to be a lighting director, a stage manager, or a part of the sound crew, go to the video room. Art students will be mainly responsible for creating a large ocean painting that will be used for the background. Other duties include painting furniture, making posters and other promotional material, and creating decorations. Volunteers will help do the work, too. If all goes well, we will finish our preparations by March 31st. This will give Mrs. Blake and the cast a full month to practice for the performance.
